I have all of my contacts stored online ovi.com. I have switched from my Nokia 5530 phone to an Android phone. I have downloaded nokia OVI suite but I don't see any option for import/export contacts. I want to import my contact from ovi.com to my device.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIts now the second time that ovi sync online duplicated every contact in my mobile (but not in ovi sync online). it doesnt double the contacts every time it syncs again, but with that problem the phone (C6) becomes unusable because the OS doesnt tell you who is calling (it doesnt relate the numbers to the contacts). its far not the only problem with this buggy mobile (C6), but its an annoying one.. I still have 2 contact entries of every person in my phone - but NOT in ovi sync online!

I have noticed that most of the contact changes I make in the web interface (like adding an email address) are not synced to the phone. Today I added 4 new contacts in the web then synced several times, and just one was copied to the phone. The sync registry in the phone showed correctly that just one contact had been added to the phone. The phone is a Nokia E51 and I am syncing over WiFi.

Before reinstallation I always used sync contact through ovi store but never tried to take backup, but know I am not able to found my lost contact anywhere. I thought after sync, contact will be safe and I can get back them after sync again, but I failed. Any other way to get back my lost contact.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI misplaced my phone (LG G3) on 06/28, and the battery level was very low the last time I had it, so it surely powered down shortly after I lost it. I have been checking Android Device Manager periodically in case it is powered on, and the last search showed that the phone is currently unavailable, but the last online date changed to 07/01...it doesn't say where the phone was when it was powered on on this date though, so I am wondering if there is a way to find this out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously, all my contacts were taken periodically from my Nokia E71 phone and moved to my Hotmail account.I found no reason for this, although other threads here suggested I disable the contacts option in the email accounts part of my phone.I not only did this, I upgraded the phone software and then imported the phone contacts from the backup I had made in Nokia PC Suite.
Now I need to import the rest of my contacts from Hotmail, the ones which were removed from my phone without my wanting them to be removed.
I synced my google account and all my google contacts popped up on the people app and did the same with my hotmail account.
Now when I try to refresh my contacts in Watsapp I see nothing, but most of my contacts use watsapp. And when I recieve a contact over watsapp from a friend of mine and when I try to save it, the people app asks me where do I want to save my contact in which account (hotmail or google)? is it normal? Cause I am not able to save it on phone directly and I guess watsapp wouldn't take the contacts that are stored in a account, it has to be on phone.
So how can I get all my contacts into watsapp?
