I had Nokia e52 which is dead now and I have backed up its contacts via nokia ovi online , and since it is no available anymore online, I had to download the zip file of my contacts from nokia ovi online which contains csv file . I have nokia phone (n70)( I know its old!) but what I want is simple ; I want to restore my contacts , how to do it via nokia ovi suite !

Try again later.'I've reed in this forum that the exact problem was in August-September 2011, which was solved only in early November by manipulating on Ovi Servers.How can I restore my contacts now? View 8 Replies View RelatedI have recently checked the software updater on my nokia N8-00 to see that there is an update that can only be updated through the ovi suite, so I duely download it set it up and too my surprise I get an this error. I have restarted my computer inutile times and the ovi suite is the latest as it was only downloaded yesterday, I have also tried the download with my firewall turned off and still get this error.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter a hard reset of my N8 I tried to restore my contacts from OVI Sync.But for some strange reason contacts that have only "Phone (work)" as a number loose the number (all other details are restored). But they end up without any phone number Contact that have additional info (like "Mobile phone") don't loose the "Phone (work)". Also some of the "standard" settings are lost (as they are when syncing with OVI Suite).Very annoying since you then have to choose number or address when calling/smsing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIts now the second time that ovi sync online duplicated every contact in my mobile (but not in ovi sync online). it doesnt double the contacts every time it syncs again, but with that problem the phone (C6) becomes unusable because the OS doesnt tell you who is calling (it doesnt relate the numbers to the contacts). its far not the only problem with this buggy mobile (C6), but its an annoying one.. I still have 2 contact entries of every person in my phone - but NOT in ovi sync online!

I have noticed that most of the contact changes I make in the web interface (like adding an email address) are not synced to the phone. Today I added 4 new contacts in the web then synced several times, and just one was copied to the phone. The sync registry in the phone showed correctly that just one contact had been added to the phone. The phone is a Nokia E51 and I am syncing over WiFi.

Before reinstallation I always used sync contact through ovi store but never tried to take backup, but know I am not able to found my lost contact anywhere.
