IPhone 5s :: Fingerprint Has Stopped Working - Operation Was Not Successful
Jun 28, 2014I've had the iPhone 5s for a few months now and everything worked fine. until about a month ago the phone stated freezing, and there seems to be a fault with the volume button. for some reason it sticks and the volume seems to go all the way up or down, without me pressing the button. and the only way to stop this is by turning off the phone. Â
also the phone seems to just freeze randomly for periods of time, especially when I am browsing the internet. if the phone is plugged into the charger it gets extremely hot and unbearable to hold. anyway....for some reason today the finger print just stopped working, i use it to unlock my phone and for my appstore. i went to unlock the phone and nothing happened at all, it just said "slide to unlock". at the same time the phone froze, this time for 20mins. i had to press the lock switch and the home button together to turn off the phone, nothing was working.Â
when the phone finally restarted, i went to investigate why the fingerprint wasn't working, and it just keeps saying "sorry, the operation was not successful. please go back and try again" but it wouldn't let me try in the first place. it just dosent work. why is this?

But after turning it on, the touch screen doesnt work. No matter how hard i press or anything, nothing happens. I do not have apple care warranty. Jan 23, 2010I followed the instruction I've found in this place to be able to make file transfers (pictures in this case) from my LG290C Tracfone to my computer, using Bluesoleil. This works, indeed!But I have a question. After I installed bluesoleil in my pc, there is a new connection icon on the tray (like the icon with 2 small monitors, only that this one has a re X on it.Everything is working perfect...but I don't know if this new Icon with the red X means that something else may be wrong (I can't find anything wrong until this moment, except that, when windows start, an small and never seen before window opens, asking for a password. Then I hit ok without entering a password and then windows load normally.When I place the mouse cursor over the new icon on the tray, it reads "a network cable is unplugged".If I open this icon, a window with 3 different connections opens, showing this new "connection" as:
LOCAL AREA CONNECTION 3
NETWORK CABLE UNPLUGED, FIREWALLED.
BLUETOOTH PAN NETWORK ADAPTER
Is the above normal when you install a bluetooth adapter in your pc, or when you use the Bluesoleil software?

Jun 15, 2012Hello everybody. I have an iPhone 4 and updated it to 5.1.1. Since then everytime someone calls me, the answer slider doesn't work !! I have to call everyone back for a week now. And sometimes during de calls the touch screen doesn't work (end+answer, end buttons). I don't have my iphone jailbroken or anything.
It is very idiotic that an update ruins your phone and you can't downgrade to a last know configuration that works.
SO... to sum up. Touch screen doesn't work when I receive a phonecall and the phone is in standby (slide to answer) and during calls.

Dec 7, 2014This morning I turned on my iPhone 4S and it logged in fine. I got a bunch of text messages because my chats were updating and all of a sudden it started to freeze. So I turned it off to 'sleep' and tried logging in again and it wont work now I went to turn it fully off but because the touch screen isn't working, I can't swipe the 'off' part of my phone. I've plugged it in, updated it, everything I could think of, and the touch screen still won't work. Or is it time for a new phone?

When I do the apple logo pops up and behind it is a black screen with red and blue vertical lines. The screen is not damaged and never been dropped. The day it happens was when I was charging the phone and when I got back it the touch was gone and wouldn't respond, I also found it dropped and was hanging on the side of my table, or maybe it short circuit for some reason. All the buttons work, the finger scanner, the on/off button. Also the phone needs the password because I tried the soft reset and now I can't unlock it since it won't respond to my touch. My Sleep/WAke button also doesnt work. My phone thinks that my sleep button is always being pushed so if my touch sreen is working i can do anything becuase my phone puts it self to sleep when i unlock it. I was on IOS 5.0.1 and then updated to IOS 5.1.1 thinking that this would help me but i didnt.
