Sep 7, 2010My mom gave me her iPhone 4 to use as a touch after she deactivated her sim. I did a clean restore because there was an issue with the battery life. I cannot send SMS so is there any legit way to activate Facetime?
Also will the 4.1 patch change the process of activating Facetime for iphone?

Jun 24, 2010So, we get two 16GB i4's yesterday. Set them up and get them all activated.My i4 finally showed Facetime activated late last night. My Wife's finally showed activated this morning. We try a call, fails. Mine still shows activated.Head off to work, noticed I had no 3G for 10 miles. Rebooted the phone, grabbed 3G. My facetime has now gone back to "waiting for activation".On WifI at work, but still no activation !

My IOS is 5.1 and phone is 4S.Everything is working fine expect Facetime using mobile number(Facetime is working for my Apple ID)I searched Google for 4-5 days for solution and tried all options. Yesterday, I restored and installed as a new iPhone.So whenever I try to activate Facetime, it sends an international SMS costing me Rs. 5. But my iMessage or Facetime doesn't activate at all and shows the message "Waiting for activation" When I login using Apple ID, i can able to use Facetime but not using my phone number. I tried different solutions found on the internet but with no luck. The message is sent to UK number but I never receives any reply or any further message from Facetime.

Mar 28, 2012After switching sim cards in my iPhone 4s have a message about additional cost for Facetime sms activation and than still see my old number in the list with "verifying" status. Than in few minutes I receive an SMS from +44 7786 205094 with text:
REG-RESP?v=3;r=10fbab5f;n=+7985......(here comes my new number);s=024.....and etc.
And it is still "verifying" status and still my old number in there. If I insert some other sim card - activation is ok. After that my new one(was actualy working before in iPhone4) - again the number of previous sim card in "verifying" status and sms message in Inbox with text "REG-RESP.....". Same issue with iMessage.

Apr 9, 2012It's has appears after a restoration. My iMessage setting stays deactivated. Or when I try to activate it, it fails. No error in particular. Just try again.It has been more than a month that I try again. Even more.I don't understand why. For other users, it's working, so, it doesn't seem That the Apple server is down. I am starting to wonder if it is not the hardware that has a problem now. And of course, Facetime doesn't work neither. Same error message.

Those goes on for hours, but it never activates. I have reset the phone with iTunes, powered off, done just about everything but through the phone at the wall.

Jun 28, 2014I've had the iPhone 5s for a few months now and everything worked fine. until about a month ago the phone stated freezing, and there seems to be a fault with the volume button. for some reason it sticks and the volume seems to go all the way up or down, without me pressing the button. and the only way to stop this is by turning off the phone. Â
also the phone seems to just freeze randomly for periods of time, especially when I am browsing the internet. if the phone is plugged into the charger it gets extremely hot and unbearable to hold. anyway....for some reason today the finger print just stopped working, i use it to unlock my phone and for my appstore. i went to unlock the phone and nothing happened at all, it just said "slide to unlock". at the same time the phone froze, this time for 20mins. i had to press the lock switch and the home button together to turn off the phone, nothing was working.Â
when the phone finally restarted, i went to investigate why the fingerprint wasn't working, and it just keeps saying "sorry, the operation was not successful. please go back and try again" but it wouldn't let me try in the first place. it just dosent work. why is this?

Jan 23, 2010I followed the instruction I've found in this place to be able to make file transfers (pictures in this case) from my LG290C Tracfone to my computer, using Bluesoleil. This works, indeed!But I have a question. After I installed bluesoleil in my pc, there is a new connection icon on the tray (like the icon with 2 small monitors, only that this one has a re X on it.Everything is working perfect...but I don't know if this new Icon with the red X means that something else may be wrong (I can't find anything wrong until this moment, except that, when windows start, an small and never seen before window opens, asking for a password. Then I hit ok without entering a password and then windows load normally.When I place the mouse cursor over the new icon on the tray, it reads "a network cable is unplugged".If I open this icon, a window with 3 different connections opens, showing this new "connection" as:
LOCAL AREA CONNECTION 3
NETWORK CABLE UNPLUGED, FIREWALLED.
BLUETOOTH PAN NETWORK ADAPTER
Is the above normal when you install a bluetooth adapter in your pc, or when you use the Bluesoleil software?
