I have a C3-01, its been over two months but suddenly two days ago the camera stopped working, its like if I press the camera button it opens in 5-10sec and then there's an error "operation failed" and camera goes on standby. I cant update my phone software because the Ovi suite does not show any update for the phone.

i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.

This is the problem, I am using the phone memory for my phone and when it is set to that It will automatically switch over to SIM memory and if you will switch it back to phone memory it will show "operation failed" in the menu " name" and my favorite contact will not work either. the names in my contact will not appear. After that, I have tried to reset the phone and it will work in few hours but will have the same problem again and of course i will reset it again and will set the phone again to my preferred settings. I have tried to update the firmware and still doing the same thing.
After updating to 5.1.1 when I take a photo, and then click on the captured photo...I get the message "failed operation ".. And the photo is not being saved..I tried to change the saving location from sd card to internal.. Same problem... I also tried clearing the cache of the camera app.

I have 70mb free on phone and 7gb free on the memory card, and the pdf document is 33mb. Is this device really that bad that it cant handle that? It handles the music and videos no problem though. pretty distressing to think that my "business phone" as its billed as , is infact nothing of the sort.

But now a days whenever I open application manager it immediately gives the message "Operation Failed". But the window remains open. When I try to move pics, video clips from images, video clips to memory card it now always says operation failed! I have loads of memory left on card, no password set. I have tried reinstalling the OS in all the possible ways. From loader.exe, from desktop manager, but I end up getting back to this same error message.
When i click on my apps or games menu it says operation failed. i was looking through the forums and found a solution except that solution was for when you could actually access the folder and only when you select a specific app/game it said operation failed. i cant access the folder at all. is there anyway at all to fix this problem for free without having to resort to that wotanserver thing? im not being cheap, i just think its rubbish to be charged anything at all to fix a problem like this when it is the manufacturers fault for selling faulty phones which all have a common problem which isn't caused by a users ill-treatment. and another question, why cant i seem to find software to flash it myself without that wotan thing? i mean, surely its just software that you run. someone must have cracked it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had the iPhone 5s for a few months now and everything worked fine. until about a month ago the phone stated freezing, and there seems to be a fault with the volume button. for some reason it sticks and the volume seems to go all the way up or down, without me pressing the button. and the only way to stop this is by turning off the phone. also the phone seems to just freeze randomly for periods of time, especially when I am browsing the internet. if the phone is plugged into the charger it gets extremely hot and unbearable to hold. anyway....for some reason today the finger print just stopped working, i use it to unlock my phone and for my appstore. i went to unlock the phone and nothing happened at all, it just said "slide to unlock". at the same time the phone froze, this time for 20mins. i had to press the lock switch and the home button together to turn off the phone, nothing was working.Â
when the phone finally restarted, i went to investigate why the fingerprint wasn't working, and it just keeps saying "sorry, the operation was not successful. please go back and try again" but it wouldn't let me try in the first place. it just dosent work. why is this?
I have nokia 700 i have a different problem with nokia maps, by mistake i uninstalled the nokia maps and now when im trying to install again OTA, it says something went wrong and closes from ovi store. i tried opening the same in OVI suite and it says that the files / folders are broken. i tried to format the mass storage and also did a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.
