So i don't know what i did but all i know was that I picked it up off the floor after it fell out of my pocket when sitting down on the ground. And then i tried to click every button possible (home and lock) but it wasn't responding. So my friend decided to call it and I received the call but the screen stays black.
I tried the reset button but no luck!

The screen of my iPhone 4 suddenly went irresponsive and within a few seconds it went completely black. I tried to power it off and also tried the home button but nothing seems to be responding.Â
Incoming calls still ring out but I am not able to answer the calls and cannot see anything on the screen.Â
I connected it to my laptop, the iphone appears on "my computer" and I was able to see pictures and videos that are on the phone, however iTunes cannot detect the devise.Â

I have Z2 with latest 5.0 build (28). 1-2 days since i updated my phone, camera app stopped working. I open it and it's just a black screen with control buttons. It doesn't  make pictures. I tried to reset my phone with PCC, but problem stayed. I downloaded other camera apps from Play Market and they also didn't work, then i turned off stock camera app (in settings) and other camera apps worked fine. When i turn stock camera app back it works for some hours and then again black screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just received my N8 from repair and they changed the main chip for it with the newest software. Now it gives me black screen when calling / receiving calls. It also does this when clock has alert on.I can turn the screen on with the "unlocking slide" but this in general is extremely annoying and pointless. I was thinking to take it back to repair shop, but wanted to ask about this first here.

My iPhone screen is completely black but the phone works perfectly. I can connect it to the MAC, i can use Reflector to see everything, music, camera.. Everything works, but to see the phone's screen i need a torchlight. The fact is, that when i switch it on, i can see the Apple logo for a second and i can see everything when the phone is switched off (example: when charging i can see perfectly the battery icon, or "Connect to iTunes" ecc...). I have been around and around with customer service on this- the buttons on lower right hand corner of my phon (including the red button and return button) do not work. I have pulled the battery repeatedly, and wiped the phone, all of which make it work just fine for an hour or so before the problem returns. Customer service insists the problem is related to the data in my phone (?) which is ridiculous. They keep encouraging me to upgrade, but I've not had the phone for a year

It doesn't give me any push notifications while I am not in the app (no noises, banners, vibrations, sounds or preview of the message at all). I have notification sounds turned on for various APPS (e.g., email, FB). When the screen is off, it seems like more often than not I don't receive an alert when I receive emails/FB updates. Only when I wake the screen up & swipe my fingerprint that "location" shows up & I suddenly get my alert notification sound that I have email. Kind of useless since I have to open up my device to see if I have any notifications.
I honestly think this has SOMETHING to do with Location services, but not sure.
Recently I purchased an E75 off of Ebay. The problem is, whenever I try to utilize the main camera, all I see is blackness. The viewfinder does not seem to work at all. Scrolling through the camera toolbar takes a while and tooltips remain on the screen without fading away as they supposedly should. I have tried taking picture regardless of the issue, but I recieved an error message which says "Unexpected error has occurred. Restart your phone." or something similar. I get the same result in Video Mode.I have done hard resets and firmware updates to the latest firmware possible, but to no avail. What could it be? Would I need to take it to a Nokia Care Center?

I see a kind of battery picture pop up for a while with two green arrows making a circle and a little down arrow in the middle - in the center of screen.
A while later the screen goes black and nothing happens. The SIM card is still inside. I have tried 2-3 times - battery shows to be >80% as of now.

The screen is not black its working all that isn't working is the touch,. All the seals were closed and it doesn't seem that any water has gotten into the phone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan add third party notifications to the slots on Glance, I have just updated my 640 to W10M and I can no longer add them, WhatsApp for instance , when I add it from the list I just get a red cross in the box and notifications don't appear on the glance screen.
The core MS apps still work, phone, ski calendar etc. With double tap to wake absent on the 950 I'm going to have to reconsider upgrading if I can't have glance how I want it too, feels like a huge backward step, meanwhile ill have to go back to 8.1 ...
I have a rather different issue with camera. I have a Curve 8310 (AT&T) and when I go into camera, everything works, but the screen is black. Just the part where the "picture" is supposed to be. I can see the zoom option and I can go to the options and everything. I notice a little symbol thats like an exclamation mark with comma sized lines all the way around it.

So if I want to insert hard reset code, I can´t. Restart without memory card and SIM card, shut down-power up and restore factory settings can´t solve my problem.
