Aug 20, 2010I have installed the latest IM application on my E63. When I try to log in onto Y! Community the application returns the following message: " Nokia Messaging subscription is required to activate the services you have selected. By pressing Reject, you will have access to Ovi Chat, Nokia's Community. For more information, visit messaging. nokia. com".Although I have visited the above mentioned site there is no information to help me successfully sign in into IM application. How do I solve this?

May 12, 2012When I got my Blackberry Torch 9800 everything worked for two days well not everything the browser said "uncaught exception java.lang illegal state so I did the sofeware update.After the update a I was unable to use the BB Messange..I went to my Service Provider and they told me I had to reload my OS which they did.I can send and recieve textes and calls but I still cannot get instant messaging, BB messanger and emails. I live in the Cayman Islands and my service provider is LIME. I bought this phone from Amazon via the OEM Planet in April.

Oct 24, 2010After looking over upgrade options, he settled on a Vivaz. We have AT&T's Family Plan. He proceeded to start using the built-in Instant Messaging app, which I endorsed because it had the AOL Instant Messenger logo right in it. I assumed that the Instant Messenger use would use his Internet Data Plan. Surprise when I got the first month's bill and AT&T saw fit to route those messages out their SMS system and hit me with close to $40 in "extra TXT" fees. I'm going to ruin one of their employee's day tomorrow. But that's not why I'm here. I deleted that infernal IM app and have found eBuddy, with which I am familiar. I have downloaded it to the Vivaz and it runs, but when it starts is asks for permission to use the Internet, and then it sits there and says "installing". WHen I click "Cancel", I am told: "Your Internet settings must be activated for Java applications, or try again later. Check your phone manual or www.ebuddy.com on how to do this." Well, neither place mentions anything about this. How can I get this application to run?

Now the photos are no longer present in file explorer , but when I want to attach a photo or a video from an app like WhatsApp or Viber it keeps on showing previews of deleted albums. I can see those photos but when I try to select tem a message pops up "Impossible to open photo. It could be lost or damaged".

Aug 8, 2011i bought my BB one of the first things i wanted to do was setup my e-mail account and instant messaging so i did this by following the tutorials, however when i tried doing both it failed. The message i get is "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email addres and password. If the error persists, contact hotmail.co.uk." to setup my email address i chose "othe"r although there are options for windows live, [URL] is not there.
The strange thing is my sister got the same phone and i set her phone up for her and her's weorked straight away and she too registered a hotmail.co.uk email address.
BB Bold 9700 :: Able To Listen To Music While Instant Messaging / BBMing?
Jan 9, 2010Are you able to listen to music while instant messaging or BBMing? It seems that when I'm listening to music and I'm on BBM and someone sends me a message, it stops my music and I hear the cricket sound but then my music doesn't resume after that. It's bugging me a little because then that means I can't have my music playing and getting SMS/MMS/IM notifications because it'll continue cutting the music off. It sounds like there was an issue when I did a switch device through DM. Anyone care to shed some light if you guys have the same issue?

Nov 28, 2010I am unable to delete 2 Entries in the call log on my Nokia X3-00. When I select delete.. first it displays..'Delete entry from list?' but when I select 'Yes', it shows 'Invalid Selection'..If I call to these numbers..the details change to the latest call details (i.e. the date, time, duration,etc..) but when I try to delete them again shows the earlier details.Actally there were almost 15-20 entries in the call log when I performed the delete action.. All but these 2 got deleted..I have tried Re-booting and Factory Reset..without success..

I have noticed that sometime, when I am in the call logs / browser / menu / messaging screen the screen freezes up. this happens randomly but i have noticed that it happens mostly when I try to unlock the keypad.I am able to move to other open apps while long pressing the home button on the phone but when i try to kill /exit from these apps (by pressing the back button), it gives be a message box as to whether i want to exit the app and when i press "yes", nothing happens.

Feb 5, 2011the phone occasionally turns off when i call, or recieve a call (i hear a click and phone turns off). i have to manually start it again. sometimes the problem persists for a few next calls, while sometimes it doesn't. anyways,i usually let it be for a day or two, and use my old phone. but this is getting really frustrating now, after all, i bought it to use it!i have tried the hard reset, the factory reset. i took it to the official repair shop here in my country, where i demanded they take away the **bleep** vodafone, preventing me to update further than v20 firmware.the repair shop gave it back, saying there are no more problems. im taking a guess even they did those soft/hard resets. i have the latest firmware (v30) and yes the phone does work much faster, but just now i did get another shutdown when having a conversation ! i even uninstalled pretty much all not needed apps (facebook, Internet, accuweather, games, ...) on the new firmware.i cannot have such a unpredictable phone, especially when i am working and have to take important calls. imagine how it is, when the phone dies in the middle of important conversation with the boss/costumer.
