I have downloaded WhatsApp, LINE and Touch via BB AppWorld and they do not work after installing. The error message is like this one for WhatsApp: "Error starting WhatsApp: Error loading modue "WhatsApp" Verify Error".

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I got my Blackberry Torch 9800 everything worked for two days well not everything the browser said "uncaught exception java.lang illegal state so I did the sofeware update.After the update a I was unable to use the BB Messange..I went to my Service Provider and they told me I had to reload my OS which they did.I can send and recieve textes and calls but I still cannot get instant messaging, BB messanger and emails. I live in the Cayman Islands and my service provider is LIME. I bought this phone from Amazon via the OEM Planet in April.

Every time I try to add an account through the Social Hub and through the IM app, I get "Error Occurred".I was able to add Gmail and hotmail but I can't add any of the IM programs such as Windows live messenger and Google Talk.My phone is factory unlocked, stock kernel XWKF3.I tried calling Samsung for support, and they just told me to send the phone back, but I know it's not a problem with the phone.

He proceeded to start using the built-in Instant Messaging app, which I endorsed because it had the AOL Instant Messenger logo right in it. I assumed that the Instant Messenger use would use his Internet Data Plan. Surprise when I got the first month's bill and AT&T saw fit to route those messages out their SMS system and hit me with close to $40 in "extra TXT" fees. I'm going to ruin one of their employee's day tomorrow. But that's not why I'm here. I deleted that infernal IM app and have found eBuddy, with which I am familiar. I have downloaded it to the Vivaz and it runs, but when it starts is asks for permission to use the Internet, and then it sits there and says "installing". WHen I click "Cancel", I am told: "Your Internet settings must be activated for Java applications, or try again later. Check your phone manual or www.ebuddy.com on how to do this." Well, neither place mentions anything about this. How can I get this application to run?

Now the photos are no longer present in file explorer , but when I want to attach a photo or a video from an app like WhatsApp or Viber it keeps on showing previews of deleted albums. I can see those photos but when I try to select tem a message pops up "Impossible to open photo. It could be lost or damaged".

View 3 Replies View Relatedi bought my BB one of the first things i wanted to do was setup my e-mail account and instant messaging so i did this by following the tutorials, however when i tried doing both it failed. The message i get is "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email addres and password. If the error persists, contact hotmail.co.uk." to setup my email address i chose "othe"r although there are options for windows live, [URL] is not there.
The strange thing is my sister got the same phone and i set her phone up for her and her's weorked straight away and she too registered a hotmail.co.uk email address.
Are you able to listen to music while instant messaging or BBMing? It seems that when I'm listening to music and I'm on BBM and someone sends me a message, it stops my music and I hear the cricket sound but then my music doesn't resume after that. It's bugging me a little because then that means I can't have my music playing and getting SMS/MMS/IM notifications because it'll continue cutting the music off. It sounds like there was an issue when I did a switch device through DM. Anyone care to shed some light if you guys have the same issue?

The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. View 3 Replies View RelatedI am having little problem with my blackberry 8520....earlier today I couldn't see my blackberry messenger on the instant message file, so searching for it led me to reloading my phone and before I reloaded it, the wifi connection was working perfectly, but now I can connect to wifi but my instant messengers are not working with it, like my blackberry messenger and yahoo messenger are not working with the wifi connection. And under the "Default Browser Configuration, I can see T-mobile internet and Hotspot browser alone.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have had a blackberry torch for a while now which i had bought in the uk, i have been living in spain since september and have been using the wifi in my house here to bbm and use all the apps etc. I recently went back to the uk to visit and came back to spain yesterday and connected to my wifi... however my bbm, email, fb, and all other apps are not working, however i can connect to the browser! I have tried various things to make it work again, for eg, pulling the battery out, taking sim in and out, making sure the data service is on! The wi fi is definitely connected as the signal bar in the right hand corner is white! Does anybody know how to make it work again, it has always worked completely fine!

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry 9800 is no longer working with apps. It appears that all newly installed apps or upgraded apps (purchased or free) now give a 'verify error' on start up. I have re-installed the apps and even re-installed the OS to no avail.Online forums show many others with this issue but the only advice is upgrade to OS 7 which is not an option for the 9800 I own (a bit over a year old) some suggestion the app registry is full but no idea how to fix this.
