I have been having a few problems with my ray ever since i got it. I have been having a few problems with connecting it to a computer using either MTP or MSC. I have sent a message to sony about this problem and they asked me to turn off all my firewalls and anti viruses on my computer and to then try again but then no luck. After some time the mini usb port wasnt working at all and i was sent a new one. As soon as i got it i tried to connect it to my computer but no luck it wasn't picking it up. I also tried it on my laptop and on my mac but yet again nothing worked. Im not sure what im supposed to do now as i want to update my phone to Ice Cream and the updating app on the phone isn't allowing me to do it.
After upgrading my phone to ICS, my computer can't find my phones SD card like it used to.The phones icon does not appear in My computer.Neither can the PC companion.
I recently updated to 2.1 and now, all of a sudden, whenever i try to connect my phone to a computer the phone reboots. It starts off as normal asking me to connect phone or install pc companion, but after i choose one first it jus goes blank and then says no sim card connected, then it completely reboots. When it finally starts up it just shows the charging symbol but no "connect phone etc" option.
my neo v was connecting fine till i tried to update my phone using update service , after then it is refusing to connect to any of the computer ,tried in many computers with many data cables, now im unable to repair it using pc companion bcz the phone is not connecting.
I just got my xperia Play today, and everything appears fine, but it will not stay connected to my computer! when i plug it in it will connect for a few few seconds then rapidly disconnect 3 times, wait a while and do the same thing over and over again. This also prevents me from doing anything on it at all while it is connected due to rapid switches i phone mode (Media Transfer / normal)
My Sony Ericsson X10 mini pro won't connect to the computer, although it will charge when usb port is connected. My computer won't recognise x10, no error is shown, nothing. Just the phone will charge when usb is connected. I tried installing PC companion for x10 mini pro in two different computers computers and exact PC companion software for x10 mini pro version but the software won't recognise the phone. What should I do.
When trying to using the pc connect software on my computer to repair my phone it says i must first shut down windowsinit but when i try that it shuts my computer down.
Trying to connect PC Companin via Bluetooth i get to the point where I enter a four digit code on the phone, then immediately recieving a message on my computer that connecting thrue bluetooth is not possible, then urging me to use the USB cable. Bluetooth is activated on both items. I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.

I dissconnected the phone. it dosn't turn on!when I connect it to charger or computer there is no response!when I press and hold the turn on key the red LED begins to turn on and off for about one hour and remain off again!
I have lg g3 5.0 lollipop and v20g-global-yt software version, and when i connect the usb to the phone and computer it's doesnt show me the option: LG SOFTWARE - Connect to LG mobile computer software. Why it isn't show me this option?
Last night my blackberry stopped ringing so I pulled the battery. When it tried to reboot I got "Reload Software: 507". So now this morning I tried to connect my phone to the computer via USB cable and neither windows nor the Blackberry desktop manager are recognizing it as being connected.
my phone wont connect to my computer any more.i have tryed to reinstall the desktop software and it did nothing. i have checked every setting in my phone and nothing. pulled battery and nothing. the last time i connected it was to do a back up when i upgraded my phones os. i am running a torch on the telus network. platform 6.4.0.210 app version 6.0.0.448 (1907)

I've got a bit of a problem with my LG Dare. My LG dare will not connect to my computer, it's not in device manager and it's not in QPST. Right now, I can access the filesystem over bluetooth. The cable is not the problem -- I can use it in my droid, BB storm and in my other dare. The only thing my dare will do with the cable is charge.
Software: VX970V6 Doesn't recognize in download mode either.
I left my iphone charger at my boyfriends house, and I can't get it back until next week because neither of us drive and we both have busy lives etc.
Last night I used my USB cable to charge my phone through my laptop, which worked fine. Tonight I have gone to do the same and my computer couldn't recognise my device.I've tried re-installing itunes, deleting USB ports, restarting my phone and computer, updated my computer. My phone was up-to-date too.
i plug it in, and nothing happens. No charging, no error message, nothing. Just a low beep signifying something being connected to the computer, thats it.
When the phone was plugged into the computer usb the device driver installing rotating icon came up the unfortunately the laptop battery died and ever since i cannot connect my phone to the computer it is not recognised as a iphone camera on devices
I plugged my iPhone into my wall socket and nothing happened. I moved it to my iMac and it didn't charge, either, nor did it connect to iTunes. How do I correct this?
I recently bought a MacBook Air, thinking that it would connect to my existing iPhone 5 easily, but when i connect it to iTunes, only the songs I have purchased (not downloaded) come up. Also, it says if I want to sync the phone with the computer, it will delete all of the current apps and contacts on my phone. I never had trouble with my PC.
I have tried using my USB wire to connect my Blackberry Curve 9320 to the computer. It has worked i the past but now it just charges the phone. I want to put a song on my phone.
first things first -- a computer whiz I am not!!! I apologize if I come across as a complete **bleep** when it comes to computer jargon but I'm still in the "intermediate at best" phase of my computer knowledge. I have a Blackberry Pearl 8230 with a 4G data card that I can't use, because I cannot connect my blackberry to the computer! It's plugged in with the USB cable, and the device charges, but the Desktop software never recognizes the device. It doesn't say "a new device has been added", and the Desktop software just says "Please connect your device". My husband has a blackberry that seems to connect no problem. I wondered if there were issues connecting 2 devices to the same computer, so I connected my blackberry to my laptop and still no dice.I've taken my BlackBerry to the Telus store, and they have no issues with connections.
They upgraded the software on the BlackBerry for me but it still refuses to connect to the computer. What am I doing wrong? This is a fresh computer with a brand new download of Desktop software (just downloaded the other day).Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm getting rather annoyed at this point.
I have been having this issue for a while on my Torch 9850. It will only charge the battery when connected to a computer. I have bought several USB cables including one specified for charging. I have replaced the battery with a new one, bought high mAH wall charger and car charger (2 amp and 5 amp), and used several other chargers from friends phones on several other outlets. It will charge on my PC, my laptop, Windows or Linux, but thats a real pain when my truck is my office.
