I plugged my iPhone into my wall socket and nothing happened. I moved it to my iMac and it didn't charge, either, nor did it connect to iTunes. How do I correct this?
I left my iphone charger at my boyfriends house, and I can't get it back until next week because neither of us drive and we both have busy lives etc.
Last night I used my USB cable to charge my phone through my laptop, which worked fine. Tonight I have gone to do the same and my computer couldn't recognise my device.I've tried re-installing itunes, deleting USB ports, restarting my phone and computer, updated my computer. My phone was up-to-date too.
i plug it in, and nothing happens. No charging, no error message, nothing. Just a low beep signifying something being connected to the computer, thats it.
When the phone was plugged into the computer usb the device driver installing rotating icon came up the unfortunately the laptop battery died and ever since i cannot connect my phone to the computer it is not recognised as a iphone camera on devices
I recently bought a MacBook Air, thinking that it would connect to my existing iPhone 5 easily, but when i connect it to iTunes, only the songs I have purchased (not downloaded) come up. Also, it says if I want to sync the phone with the computer, it will delete all of the current apps and contacts on my phone. I never had trouble with my PC.
I just bought a iphone 3gs off my friend (i already knew of this defect), and he said it had a problem that it doesnt connect to the computer. When connected via multiple cables, all it does is vibrate and start charging. Does this mean the problem is just a broken pin or something in the 30pin dock connector? If it matters, it has been replaced by apple before, so i would say this is a refurb. How can i fix it? or even just how to enable wifi sync without being able to connect to itunes. Its on 5.1.1 and unlocked if it matters
I just got a new iPhone 4. My laptop is old and terrbile... can I plug my new iPhone into my girlfriend's macbook? Will it mean I get all of her stuff? Will anything terrible happen, like she won't be able to plug in her iPhone 4?
i bought an iphone 6 but when i connect my iphone to my windows 7 laptop via the usb cable, nothing happens. My iphone doesnt charge or connect to itunes or my computer. But everytime i plug my iphone to computer, i hear the sound that confirms its connected.
Its not the usb cable's fault because i used the same cable to connect my ipod 5 to computer and everything worked normally. My itunes is also up to date. Why my computer knows the iphone is plugged in but doesnt do anything about it?
For some reason my iPhone won't connect to my computer or other devices like my in-car radio tuner. It does still charge when plugged into the wall charger but when it's plugged into the computer it doesn't charge or connect at all and doesn't show the connected symbol in the top corner of the phone screen.
My iphone 4 will not charge, its just a black screen - wont reset by holding middle button and top botton on fone - will not connect to the computer at all
My computer won't recognize my Iphone, I can't access Itunes through it or charge. It makes a noise when I plug it in and unplug it but nothing else. It will recognize my husbands.
So My iphone wont connect to my macbook computer at all, like it wont even charge or show up or anything. Im trying to connect it to itunes but it doesnt even show up. Ive tried everything My itunes is all up to date and my iphone is all up to date but it just doesnt recognize it. I know it's a problem with my Iphone 5s because I know my USB works and my connector cord works because I connected my ipod touch and it synced and charged perfectly.
I tried the rm -r var/root/Mobile command through terminal, like others have suggested. However, when I plug my phone into my computer, iTunes still keeps repeating the same message. Is there any way to fix this problem without doing a restore? At this point it would be a huge hassle.
I am planning to travel to Central America, and I want to take pictures with my iPhone. I only have 8 GB memory, so I wanted to take my 1 TB WD Mac External Hard Drive with me on the trip. Is there any way I can connect my iPhone directly to the external hard drive, without the use of a computer?
My IPhone 3G doesn't connect to Itunes. I have the most recent version of Itunes on Windows Vista. My Phone only registers on my computer as a camera. So I follow the troubleshooting steps on this page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538) and I realize that my issue is that my Apple Mobile Device Driver does not appear in device managers. I follow all of the steps to install it, but when I try and install the "usbaapl.inf" from the folder " C:Program FilesCommon FilesAppleMobile Device SupportDrivers." I get a message saying: "The folder you specificied doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for 32 bit systems"
I reset my iphone 4 now it told me to connect to itunes I did that it restored and everything but it still saying counted to itunes and my computer shows a error ....
iphone disabled can not connect to computer because of hard drive crash how do I do a restore of the phone iTunes does not recognize the device because it is locked
when i charge it using computer. the iphone logo keep popping.. then if i charge it direct in plug.. its say that please connect in itune..but i cant connect it..
I went out last night, kept my iPhone in my bra (maybe this is an important detail? idk) and when I got in the car my iPhone screen wasn't coming on for a while. It finally came on and the apple sign was there then it turned off. I tried again a few minutes later and it was on, the battery at 81% but I couldn't slide to unlock it and I couldn't lock it again, the screeen was just on and unresponsive. Now it's just not responding at all and it won't charge (i tried 2 different USB cables) and it won't connect to the computer.
Whenever I connect my iPhone 3G to my computer, iTunes freezes and is forced to quit.I've tried the following:Re-installing iTunes, iPhone drivers.Used different USB ports.Restarting the computer/iPhone.The first time this happened, I was told that Apple Mobile Device Support had stopped working. Whenever I end AMDS in task manager, iTunes alerts me that AMDS needs to be active, but iTunes doesn't crash. I've used the Error Viewer and the iTunes error number is 1002 (Application Hang). There is no error information for AMDS.I'm using an activated iPhone 3G on firmware 2.2 and my OS is win 7.
Everytime I connect my Itouch 4 into the computer, my apps stop working. Neither of em' load. I have to Re-download them in order to work. This has never happened to me before, it just recently started occurring.
my iPhone 5s will not connect to the internet via data or wifi. I thought there may be a glitch and planned to check for software updates and/or factory restore at home but iTunes on my home computer (macbook updated to maverick) gives me a message that "itunes could not connect to this iphone. could not connect to the device."Â
