Mar 30, 2011I was updating my X10 and I did as it was procedured. but about 3 houres after I turned off the X10, pressed and hold the back bottom, connected the cable and the updating started, a wonderful message appeared mean your update failed, try later! I dissconnected the phone. it dosn't turn on!when I connect it to charger or computer there is no response!when I press and hold the turn on key the red LED begins to turn on and off for about one hour and remain off again!

May 30, 2012I have been having a few problems with my ray ever since i got it. I have been having a few problems with connecting it to a computer using either MTP or MSC. I have sent a message to sony about this problem and they asked me to turn off all my firewalls and anti viruses on my computer and to then try again but then no luck. After some time the mini usb port wasnt working at all and i was sent a new one. As soon as i got it i tried to connect it to my computer but no luck it wasn't picking it up. I also tried it on my laptop and on my mac but yet again nothing worked. Im not sure what im supposed to do now as i want to update my phone to Ice Cream and the updating app on the phone isn't allowing me to do it.

Feb 6, 2011I recently updated to 2.1 and now, all of a sudden, whenever i try to connect my phone to a computer the phone reboots. It starts off as normal asking me to connect phone or install pc companion, but after i choose one first it jus goes blank and then says no sim card connected, then it completely reboots. When it finally starts up it just shows the charging symbol but no "connect phone etc" option.

Just the phone will charge when usb is connected. Oct 26, 2014My 4 month old Xperia Z2 has always worked fine until today. It was connected to my Mac computer, and I was asked to update Sony bridge for MAC. After about 10 mins it said Update Failed on the computer. I disconnected the phone, but now the phone wont turn on - all I get is an error message saying "Software update failed, make sure that your phone is connected to the computer and try again"
However when I connect it, the device isnt recognised.
I cant switch the phone off or on, all thats happening is a continuous loop of red light and then the error message (it's on charge at the moment)....

Jan 28, 2012Since I updated to 2.3.3 late last year, I've not been able to get onto t'interweb. I can connect to wifi and to the network now, but pages won't load. I've downloaded an app to fix wifi but that hasn't sorted it either, and it doesn't matter which network I connect to.
I've tried static IP etc which gets me connected, but it doesn't get the pages loaded, and it worked before the update on all networks absolutely fine so it's not the routers that need sorting, it's the phone.
what else to try that preferably doesn't involve wiping the phone and starting again?
