My phone is not able to switch on!
Last time its battery was dry.. But today i m charging for more than 5 hours, but still it is not charging & starting..
But when i press & hold the power button , it blink RED light once! then nothing happen..
When calling some one, there is an option on the right buttom corner of the screen as: "SPEAKER ON" nad you can switch to the speaker at any time while calling or talking with one button only. Few days ago it has been changed in my screen and it shows "Sound" instead. I should press that and then choose the speaker on. It makes it difficult if you're driving or don't have good visibility. Does any one know if I can switch to the original option: choosing the "speaker on" with one button push?

When i put it in my pocket, and after a while i take it out and i found that my phone is switched off. When i tried to switch it on again, it didn't work. I have to connect it to the charger then it can switch on again. And after it can be switched on, i have to reset all my time and date again. This happened almost like every single time i put it in my pocket. Did i press the reset button or i don't know. Please help me. It's really annoying. One thing im confused is that why do i have to connect to the charger to turned it on after it turned off by itself. If i turn the phone off manually, i can turn it back on but not when i put the phone in my pocket.

I 'm just opening a new discussion after SONY decided to buy the rest 50% of Ericsson's stocks.Last night I was furious with some news I read from SE and was also furious with something I found out when.I tried to connect to SE PC Companion. But let's take things from the beginning.
I'm a NON proud owner (no more) of a SE XPERIA X10. I bought this phone for 600 Euro, almost a year ago The support and solutions I found to my problems with this phone was absolutely NONE! Nobody cares if you have a problem with a 600 Euro piece and you have almost no support from SE. We spent 8 months trying to persuade SE to release 2.3.3 for X10 only to find out that half of the things were removed from the phone and that most of the things you can do with PC Companion Wirelessly with all the other phones, you CANNOT do them with X10!!! Not to mention the speed of the phone.
I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI dropped my phone at work today and now when I try to switch it on it won't go any further than the Sony Ericsson logo on the welcome screen, after that point it just freezes, and if I leave it on that screen the battery eventually dies. It's been dropped several times before but after every time it still worked perfectly - I've not had any problems with it until now. I can still charge it and connect it to the computer but without being able to select the USB connect I obviously can't open the PC companion.Basically what I'm asking is - is there any way for this to be fixed? I downloaded Sony Ericsson PC Companion. This eventually recognized that my phone was actually connected to my pc by USB, but then simply recommended I try re-inserting the battery.
Many peoples phones wont switch on. My x10 mini pro refuses to shut down!!
I power down and the phone switches off, but then switches itself back ON after a few seconds. The only way to fix this is by taking the battery out for a second and then re-inserting it. Once Ive done this, it will not switch on until I press the power button!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently tryed updating my phone, i had to cancel it as it took along time, i then tryed to put the phone on but now it goes to the point of showing the sony erricson sign and then it comes up with a half blank screen and then a weird pattern on the bottom, then after a few seconds it switches itself off. does anyone know anything i can try. i have taken the battery out, the sim card the memory card and tryed to restart from computer and the mains and its still the same.

View 4 Replies View Relatedsince updating to 2.1 which actually went quite smoothly once i'd 'found' my contacts, my phone vibrates as well as makes a sound on incoming texts. The help guide (also disappeared off phone but can stll access online version) still refers to tapping settings & then tapping notifications.... well since the upgrade my settings menu has changed beyond recognition & when you tap settings there is no notifications option! The nearest is 'sound & display', in which i can change the sound used for texts alerts and also has a phone vibrate for incoming calls (which is unchecked) but nothing re vibrate for incoming texts.
