Xperia Mini/pro :: New Won't Even Switch On?

New Mini Pro won't even switch on!
Took out of Christmas wrapped box, folllowed instructions to plug in and charge. When I try to switch phone on I get a display icon of a phone, and behind it, a large triangle containing exclamation mark!
I read this might mean it's software was unsuccessfully updated?
I downloaded Sony Ericsson PC Companion. This eventually recognized that my phone was actually connected to my pc by USB, but then simply recommended I try re-inserting the battery.

Many peoples phones wont switch on. My x10 mini pro refuses to shut down!!
I power down and the phone switches off, but then switches itself back ON after a few seconds. The only way to fix this is by taking the battery out for a second and then re-inserting it. Once Ive done this, it will not switch on until I press the power button!

My xperia pro m16i was charging though usb cable, I was surfing net on my pc then I took my pro and clicked its side button to unlock it but I saw that it was not unlocking then I took out its battery and placed in again then tried to start it but its not starting. It's not even charging. I bought it 15 days ago. I also tried to on it by holding vol. up button and home button but nothing is happening. And I also updated it to latest ics 4.0.4 by flash tool the day when I bought it.

A few days ago the battery completely discharged and the phone switched off so i recharged it but initially i couldn't turn it on, it kept vibrating but the screen remained black. After several attempts (startup screen appearing but shutting off) i got it to turn on but the touch screen wasn't responding, i couldn't unlock the keypad. I was beginning to think my phone was bricked but taking the battery out and reinserting it seems to have sorted things out. Now i'm reluctant to let the battery fully discharge in case it happens again and i can't recover the phone!
Is this a bug caused by the update? I've read of others having similar issues. Yesterday for a few hours i couldn't dl apps from the store which is why i ask as similarly others have had this issue since updating. My X10 came with the update but was fine up until then.

I ahve just upgraded to an xperia x10 mini pro and on the whole it's great but when i try and take a photo it has started to switch itself off, also it says unable to attach photo when i try and send a message with photo.

I'm having a problem with my Xperia mini pro front facing camera, I can't switch between the front and the rear camera, the only camera that's working is the rear one, and there's no option for switching it, I just realized this problem today.

Two days back I had upgraded my X10mini to andriod 2.1. 24 hours after upgrade the screen got freezed. Its showing FM screen and the restart button is also not working. If I press the power button, screen lights on for some time and goes off. I can't remove the battery as the battery is fixed.

I dont know why now my display doesnt switch from vertical to horizontal view, even shaking it.- Only goes horizontal when I slide out the keyboard, or when the camera is loaded, Maybe the cause is some misconfiguration or the sensor is faulty ?

3gs does not respond to on-off switch, ring/silent switch or volume buttons. It will not turn off.
I let the phone deplete its battery which didn't take very long but the problem persists.

I have an iPhone 4s (Verizon). I had recently purchased what was described as an OEM screen plus LCD after I had cracked my factory screen. After replacing the screen and LCD such features as the side volume controls, vibrate switch, and proximity switch (dimming after accepting a call) have stopped working. I double checked to see that all of the connectors were pushed on correctly and they were. Is it possible this may not be an OEM screen and causing the problem or is there a piece of the hardware that I may have damaged that controls all of these functions (i.e. motherboard)?

So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with my phone but that. Which is GOOD. Anyway wanted to see if and one else has this issue. I am using Xperia Mini Pro nd had updated my phn till version 4.0.2.A.0.58 via phone only but this time the new version 4.0.2.A.0.62 can not be updated directly via phone its says to use PC COMPANION, while using PC COMPANION and selcting the update process its prompting to stop WINIT process to start downloading the update.

My experia X8 won't charge (USB or the same cord on the mains charger adapter) or from a car charger unless I switch it off and then plug in the charging lead with the phone still off. Once I've done that the red/green indicators come up ok.I can then switch it on and it continues to charge. I dropped my phone at work today and now when I try to switch it on it won't go any further than the Sony Ericsson logo on the welcome screen, after that point it just freezes, and if I leave it on that screen the battery eventually dies. It's been dropped several times before but after every time it still worked perfectly - I've not had any problems with it until now. I can still charge it and connect it to the computer but without being able to select the USB connect I obviously can't open the PC companion.Basically what I'm asking is - is there any way for this to be fixed? Or will I have to replace it?

a few days ago I bought my SE X10 mini pro.I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%
A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication.Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again.I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart.I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help.I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible.I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery.So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full...

I've been having problems with my phone recently, it doesn't recieve some text messages or show my missed calls. A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

I recently tryed updating my phone, i had to cancel it as it took along time, i then tryed to put the phone on but now it goes to the point of showing the sony erricson sign and then it comes up with a half blank screen and then a weird pattern on the bottom, then after a few seconds it switches itself off. does anyone know anything i can try. i have taken the battery out, the sim card the memory card and tryed to restart from computer and the mains and its still the same.
