add my SI number (1248-9962) on the ICS update table soon. I have been following the SI numbers thread since last month. I have a question - Does my SI number remain the same 'cause I had installed a ftf file with different SI number from the xda-developers forum.Mine is 1248-9962.
I'm trying to update my SE Xperia Mini Pro (SI 1249-0767) to ICS. According to the SI-list, the update should be available for my phone. However, both PC Companion and Update Service say my phone is running the latest version (which is version 2.3.4 and build 4.0.2.A.0.62 according to the "About the phone" menu). I've also tried to run the "repair" option of PCC, but that neither gives the update.
When I try to call a landline number listed in my contacts it jumps to my email account. Does anyone know why it does this. It only happens with landline numbers and not mobile numbers...
To find the real SI number, first, you download to your phone the application "function tester" by sony, then you open it and you go to "phone facts" you will see the "application software ID" there is your SI number. Mine is1249-7702.
Do you ppl know how to set message center number in X10 Mini Pro? It ***** that ******* SE don't provide a straight way to set this. I have trouble in sending/recieving sms in this device and operator told me to reset the message center number.

So yesterday i could text fine until suddenly it came up with an error every time i tried to text someone "unable to send" or something, so i looked on here and tried the *#*# thing, and i need a smsc number, but i dont know how i find out what my smsc number is?
I originally setup and tested my new Xperia X10 with a different SIM/phone number to what I am using now. Bizarrely, when I go into Settings/About Phone/Status it continues to show the phone number of the original SIM. Why does it not simply read the number from the current SIM? Anyone know how I can update the Status information?
After upgrading to 2.1 I am unable to access the number and special character keyboards. This is very anoying as I can't restore my phone (contacts & software) without loging onto my Google account and I can't log because I can't type in my password which has numbers in it!How can I re-install the OS?
Is there anyway to increase the homescreen number, (Samsung has got 7!!!)? Also, Is there anyway to add different wallpapers for different homescreens without using launcher apps ?
I can not update an xperia mini to ICS, altough its si-number has been on the list for 3 weeks now. Neither PCC nor SUS finds the update. Tried it dozens of times, all on different days.
I am not able to send messages though I receive messages. When I called my service provider then they said to change the message service center. But I cannot find the way to change it in my Phone i.e Xperia Mini Pro (andriod 2.3 OS)
I find this phone difficult to use, for even the simplest things. I'm trying to change the number of rings for an incoming phone call before the phone goes to messaging.
I would just like to report that the Xperia mini pro (and possibly also Xperia mini) camera does not keep track of picture number in file names properly. It will keep track of the number as long as the user does not delete any pictures, but as soon the user deletes one/more/all pictures taken with the phone's camera, the camera system will "fill the numbering gaps" when new pictures are taken, instead of just continuing from the number of the last picture taken.
Does anyone know if there is a way of expanding the number of email folders from "Inbox, Outbox, Sent & Drafts"? Reading the manual and experimenting with different options has revealed nothing. All incoming emails end up in the Inbox (of course) and there is nowhere that these can be stored. Several folders would be useful to be able to categorise different emails, otherwise you just get a huge list of them all mixed up in the Inbox (which can be set to limit them to either 50 or 100).
I am using Xperia Mini Pro nd had updated my phn till version 4.0.2.A.0.58 via phone only but this time the new version 4.0.2.A.0.62 can not be updated directly via phone its says to use PC COMPANION, while using PC COMPANION and selcting the update process its prompting to stop WINIT process to start downloading the update.
