May 10, 2010I am using E71, which firmware version is 410.21.010. I have a contact which has 2 number (mobile and Telephone) and i have set mobile as default. When i make call from the contacts applicaition it is calling to mobile without showing the number list. But if i call from the homescreen by typing the name, it is showing the number list. I also created new contacts with more than a number and tried, it's not working... And when it shows the number list in the homescreen, pressing the call end button doesn't cancel showing the number list. I have to press the cancel button to cancel the list showing...

Jun 18, 2015I just got the Z3 and am having an issue with my contacts. When I go to select a contact to call it displays the fax number as default to call. Is there a away to change that? It does it for all contacts that have a fax number, the Phone icon shows up beside the fax number.

Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number? Lately I've been just going into the contact and retyping it, but doing that for all of my contacts will be a pain.

Jun 28, 2012So I have updated my ray to the latest OS version just during last weekend and there a things that I would leave (like led button sms notification), but there is that thing that outruns all: save path for camera pics is in internal storage, which means I can take, like 3 shots and that's it. Jun 22, 2012I bought a new xperia ray and updated it to the latest update(android 4.0.4 build number 4.1.B.0.431) within the same day and I didn't have much experience with GB. But after the update it randomly restarts several times during the day even I left phone without any activity. But I want to highlight I used Sony PC Companion to update the firmware and during the update process I left the sim card within it and several times it failed the update with no exact error code but it said update failed kind a thing. But I think I finally figured out the reason for that pc companion related problem because my OS was windows 8 consumer preview. So I tried the update using windows 7 and it went properly.

Jul 18, 2015I have the Xperia Z3 from Tmo and when I see my contacts I see the pictures on them but when I call them or they call me I get the blank default picture for them during the call. I have verify I dont have multiples contacts of the same or multi pictures. I reset the phone and in the first sync everithing was OK but after like one hour again the same probpem. I reset it and installed all apps one by one to see if one of them was giving me the error but everithing was OK after I intall them and after some hours again the same thing. I like this phone and I dont whant to go back to ios.

Aug 5, 2012After the software update on my Sony Xperia Ray to android-version 4.0.4 Build-number 4.1.B.0.431 it is not possible to connect to my Bluetooth car kit.I'm using a Opel Corsa Touch & Go. This car audio & navigation system can be used as car kit with Bluetooth telephones.To solve the problem Opel has updated the software in the Opel Corsa Touch & Go but without success for my on the Sony Xperia Ray and my wife's Sony Xperia Neo V.It works fine with the Apple iPad and the HTC One without any problem.So I guess Sony added some extra software to the Android OS that corrupts the Bluetooth connection.First I start the car kit with the option pairing. The car kit pups-up with a mesage that the phone has to connect with pin code 9876.Then I start pairing from my phone connecting to the car kit. But there is no dialog box shown on my Sony Xperia phone where I can type in the pin-code. The car kit returns immediately with the message "unable to connect, wrong pin code".On a iPad a dialog is shown to fill in the pin-code.

Apr 11, 2011I just recently upgraded to android 2.1 via PC_companion. And so far everything went through just fine. Using "contacts groups" I created few groups. For some reason I decided to remove the groups and my first option was delete it from contacts_group which was fairly easy. However I notice though the groups was deleted, if I go to phonebook I still see the groups. How to completely remove them?

I've tried to upgrade with PC Companion but the software sais that the phone is allready up-to-date. I also tried "repair" but that installs the same firm- and software that is allready on it
How can I upgrade to Android 4 and/or solve the issue?
