How I can change the default number of a contact, or access other saved numbers of the contact?For example, I have a contact which has 4 different phone numbers. When I search the contact from "People" I can only see 2 numbers and email. The number I most often use can not be seen although it is saved.
View 3 RepliesI am using E71, which firmware version is 410.21.010. I have a contact which has 2 number (mobile and Telephone) and i have set mobile as default. When i make call from the contacts applicaition it is calling to mobile without showing the number list. But if i call from the homescreen by typing the name, it is showing the number list. I also created new contacts with more than a number and tried, it's not working... And when it shows the number list in the homescreen, pressing the call end button doesn't cancel showing the number list. I have to press the cancel button to cancel the list showing...

Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number? Lately I've been just going into the contact and retyping it, but doing that for all of my contacts will be a pain.

So I have contacts that have two numbers with *31# and without.... But when sending txt message it tries to use this *31# number and text messages don't go anywhere... View 2 Replies View RelatedI just switched my OS to version 6.0 and I am careless to set a wrong email address on the filed of Contact List(SYNC) in Default Service of Advanced System Setting of Device under the "Option".
I've tried to cancel this email address on Google Mailbox and I remove this email address setting in my Bold 9700 as well. But this email address still exist in the filed of Contact List (SYNC)?
Anybody know how to remove or change it? Because in this field, there is no other option to change to my other email addresses!

I recently upgraded to GB, lost all my phone numbers in my contacts, but thankfully the special app worked and I retrieved them. I want to sync with gmail, but I must of choose the wrong default option, when you add a new one, it asks you gmail or motoblur, always use this choice.
I added a contact and it looks like its a motoblur contact, when I go into accounts motoblur has a lock symbol next to it (odd).
anyhow to the questions:
1) How do I change add contacts to use gmail, now that I do not have a choice when adding new contacts.
2) Is there a qucik guide to remote wipe.
3) Someone mentioned they used motoblur to find their phone, how can I do that?
4) How often does my contacts/books etc sync with gmail, can you increase/decrease it?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI wonder if anyone can help me. I am using the nokia 5310 and even though I am using a sim card with all my names stored in it, when I get a call or a text from someone who is in my phonebook it still just shows up as a number.
Also the names are not in order in my phone book.I am using this phone in Canada, and I got it from Ireland so the time on my incoming messages is 5 hours behind.So many issues!!
I broke the screen of my 6280 so used a different phone for a while and now that I've repaired it and put the sim card back in the phone displays the number rather than the name in the text inbox. When I try to add the number to the contact it says it's in use for the contact bla bla. The numbers get displayed in the +44 format and are saved in the domestion 07xx format but I can't overwrite it because it then recognises the number.

When I do the search for particular music, it will again take me to "India" store instead of "Germany" store. In addition, most annoying is that I have to re-login but my user id and password will not work as its different store. Also when I go via music.nokia.de and try to login, it open Ovi player and since default location is "India", it takes me to India store and my login credentials do not I ask Nokia care on how to change default Ovi Player Store location but they are unable to provide any good I already un-install / re-installed but won't work. The problem is the default contact location is phone memory and though i have copied the contacts to phone memory, if there is any incoming call or sms, the name doesnt appear even though i would have that persons contact stored.
