May 23, 2010I cant seem to just add one contact it has to be two or more. i put the contact click ok but nothing happens but if theres two contacts i can compose an sms.

May 10, 2010I am using E71, which firmware version is 410.21.010. I have a contact which has 2 number (mobile and Telephone) and i have set mobile as default. When i make call from the contacts applicaition it is calling to mobile without showing the number list. But if i call from the homescreen by typing the name, it is showing the number list. I also created new contacts with more than a number and tried, it's not working... And when it shows the number list in the homescreen, pressing the call end button doesn't cancel showing the number list. I have to press the cancel button to cancel the list showing...

May 26, 2010I have reecently changed from the 8900 to the 9700. I transfered my contact list but now when a contact rings their name doesn't appear but the number only as all the numbers are prefixed with +61 (I am in Australia) whereas from the contact list the numbers all begin with a zero. (So the number dialling in doesn't match with any numbers stored in the contact list). I didn't have that problem with 8900.

Jul 14, 2010I am new to this whole Blackberry thing, so please... take it easy on me.Anyway, whenever I add a new contact from a phone call or whatever it, by default, goes under as their "Work" number. Even when I transferred numbers from my Envy to my Blackberry a lot of the contacts went under "Work" rather than "Mobil".How can I change it so that by default it comes up under mobile (since that's the majority of numbers I add to my contacts)?Also, is there a way to easily switch the classification of a number? Lately I've been just going into the contact and retyping it, but doing that for all of my contacts will be a pain.

Mar 24, 2010Please help-I have the Bold 9700 TMOBILE When I go to compose sms text I can add multiple people, but if you go to a contact and hit compose sms you can't hit menu and add any more people, but on my old curve when you hit menu you could add recipients? Is there a way to fix that it's bothersome, and also sometimes with the sms on a particular person it won't reply to them you just hit the button and it does nothing, but if you clear the chat, and start over it works? Mar 8, 2010I was always the frustrated one, seeing leaked OS, but if I want to play with it, I had to sacrifice Chinese reading/writing ability. Well a bit of research got me into finally figuring out how to actually insert Chinese/Other Languages capability into any OS (especially leaked ones!). Mind you this is only for BB 9700. It's actually easier than I think =) Anyway, there are two ways to doing it. Installing it as a separate add-on (Simillar to BB Maps / Password Keeper type RIM app), or installing it with the OS. 100% sure the OS method works, .alx via app loader through DM seems to be a little buggy, still testing.

BB Bold 9700 :: Forwarding Messages And Adding Multiple Recipients?
Jul 31, 2010I've noticed a couple issues when sending a text message to multiple people. On my old curve, I could hit the menu button, click "add TO", choose a contact, and thats it, simple. But on my Bold, I have to click, "Show recipients", and add another recipient. Now, the problem arises when i want to send it to only one more person. I choose the person and it has the next option for recipient open, which is blank cause im not choosing anyone else. I hit "ok", and it does nothing. I hit "ok" again and when i send the message, its sent duplicate messages, meaning each person gets the message twice. Same thing happens when forwarding. Id choose the person i want to forward the message to, but when I hit "ok" it doesnt do anything, so i have to hit it again and it adds the one contact twice. Anybody know how to fix this issue? Or is this just a common glitch that hasnt been fixed yet?

If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Mozilla(R) Thunderbird(TM), etc.) to access your avibassi91@hotmail.com messages, change your email client settings to leave your email messages on the server. If the email client does not leave email messages on the server, the BlackBerry(R) Internet Service may not be able to deliver them to your BlackBerry(R) device. To leave email messages on your email server you may need to complete the following steps:
1. In your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) on your computer, under Tools or Mail > Preferences.
2. Select your email account.
3. Locate advanced, server settings or options.
4. Select the option to leave email messages on the server.

I knw about that short-cut (press the space bar twice to enter periods) but its doing that after almost every word.
