Xperia Z5 :: Fingerprint Data Lost

Yesterday evening my Z5 had 0-1% battery left and I connected the charger. At the same time with connecting the phone turned itself off, I thought that the battery died at the exactly same moment.
In the morning I turned on the phone and wondered why the fingerprint sensor is not responding. I opened phone with pin and checked the fingerprint settings. Fingerprint lock was turned off and when I turned it back on I had to teach my fingerprints again.

My girlfriends S6 has now a faulty Fingerprint scanner and she also lost her security Password...
Googlemail is not "installed" Now she can't Bypass lock Screen.
NO ROOT.
How to Bypass lockscreen? (i know hard reset and restore. a backup is available but not here. she has her backup on her Laptop and we can Access her Laptop in a week)... Is there a way using adb?
Or is there a way to get a new backup from locked phone?

I did an upgrade today, followed instructions, did backup with all boxs ticked, after upgrade completed I did the retore action etc. But I have not got all contacts saved and do not have any of the previously uploaded applications. I need them urgently, but no one available at erickson help line. Also vodaphone phone line and service office are not able to help me my service is with them.How do I get this critical info back, as I urgently need to contact several people in my contact list, but can't without their numbers that are saved into my phone or wherever they get saved when entered.Have also done previous backups, but none seem to restore this info.

I've been googling around and haven't found an answer on how the fingerprint data is stored on the phones and is it safe regardless of device encryption?
The S5 implementation of the data was horrible and Samsung is not to concerned it seems. At least Apple clearly outlines how and where the data is stored.

I updated the firmware of my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1 yesterday. After the update, I noticed that I have lost all of my contacts on the phone, so I plugged it back in to the computer and went with "Restore from backup", which was dated just a few hours prior to updating the firmware.
After it finished restoring, my contacts were all back but half of my apps are missing. I tried redownloading from the App Store as well as syncing from the computer, but the data (game saves, etc) are still missing. How do I get them back?

My iPhone4S was stolen yesterday and I wiped the data off the phone using my iPad. Unfortunately this wipe of data seems to have beed synced via iCloud to my PC and iPad and I have lost all calendar and contacts details. Is there a way for me to recover this data?

in the last few days my fingerprint scanner has started to be quite picky. I've set it up with 5 different prints so I can unlock with either hand but recently it's not recognising any of my fingerprints. Today it;s working maybe one in every thirty attempts. I've removed fingerprints from the memory, when trying to re-add them it tells me to wipe the sensor/finger but both are clean.

I registered two of my fingers on my phone.
Seemed to work for a while and then more or less stopped working.
So I decided to re register my fingers, but it says that I must use a existing finger to unlock and proceed!!! Which I can't do because they don't work and is the reason I am doing this!!!

I recently got a gold Z5 and have enjoyed it greatly. Over the past week or so, however, I've noticed that when I press the power button to unlock the device, sometimes the fingerprint sensor misses and attempts to read again. 5 times. Even without my finger on it.
I totally get that it's not a perfect system and false readings happen. But the sensor sometimes reads "automatically" after failing to scan my finger and then continues to try until it locks itself out, requiring me to enter my backup password.
Doesn't seem to be any physical problems with the hardware's exterior, and I can set up and unlock using the sensor fine. Sometimes it just gets a little excited.

Before I update the firmware to 152, my Z5 was trying to read the fingerprint as soon i touch the button, and it reads 5 times in a row in just 0.5sec and block it self and was required to use the pin to unlock. (Cleanning the button didnt solve the problem).
So I decided to enter in the Fingerprint Management to remove all the 5 print screen, but the software didnt accept even 1 command to remove, just to rename the fingers.
So I update to .152, and when I enter in the fingerprint Management, it asks the pin to start the process, but as soon I hit the button so the cell phone start asking for the fingerprint, it spears the screen saying to put the finger on the right place, but it closes very quicky and I con configure nothing.

What is going on with this fingerprint scanner? It worked well for the first few months. Now It:
1) automatically buzzes and attempts a scan 5x in a row when I press the unlock button then locks the phone and requires pin.
2) does not even show the fingerprint scanner in the diagnostic menu
3) does not allow me to even register new fingerprints - I open the fingerprint software to scan new fingerprints and it closes.
I've attached an image.
This has to be a software glitch. I've already resetted my phone and same thing.

A few days ago I bought a new Xperia Z5 Premium from a local reseller, and it works just fine, most of the time.Yesterday I noticed that the fingerprint scanner works pretty bad most of the time, and sometimes it chooses to not work at all.It just refuses to recognise my fingerprint, and I've deleted and registered it over and over again.I've now added three registered prints of my thumb, and it still is extremely wonky. (The sensor, and my thumb, are both clean and unharmed).I just searched the forum, and lots of people seem to have the same issue from a few months back.

Scanner is very finicky. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Tried registering multiple ID's using the same finger. Tried safe mode. Diagnostic test fails (doesn't vibrate) during safe and normal mode.
I bought this phone because of the fingerprint sensor (lots of sensitive business info in the phone), so i'd love for it to work normally.

i have problem with my iphone4, it was ios 4.3.3 then i update into 5.1.1. before i doing upgrade i have backup all my data into pc via itunes but not succesed, then i do for upgrade because ithink all my contact not lost after do upgrade ios. but now, all my contact lost. can you help me how to recover my contact data ? i'ts looks like if data in pc lost we can recovered using tools. but how if iphone?

Not sure if anyone experience this problem.. I lost all my map data after I update the Taiwan map when I was in Taiwan. The reason is I was forced to update the Taiwan map again when I was in Taiwan.Before I travel to Taiwan, I have updated several maps, included Taiwan map in local.
When I used GPS in Taiwan( I use Taiwan paid card to make call), no map was displayed and I was very puzzle and annoy because I thought I installed the Taiwan. I tried whole day, and tried to get it worked but failed.I used hotel's wifi to check the map and was prompted to update the Taiwan map again. Puzzle.. but update anyway. It worked when I traveled around Taipei.
Now the problem come... When I back home here and no maps were shown, except the Taiwan map!! Again, I went online to download the maps. It wasted my efforts and time to download the maps' data.
Here is I want to know;
1) Do maps' data store inside my phone when downloaded?
2) If so, why I traveled aboard and the maps will not display except the local(singapore) map?
3) Even though the maps are free for download, but I have to buy data plan from other countries when travel. I though the maps can use globally?
4) Will 3rd party GPS works in my C6-00? For example Garmin, if nokia maps are not reliable.. Not sure if anyone experience this problem.. I recently lost my iPhone.It was a first generation that I had managed to hold onto and keep working for years. I left it in the back of a cab and despite all my effort to relocate it, it appears it's gone for good.I had AT&T deactivate it 20 mins after I lost it. I also had the passcode feature active. AT&T has assured me that the combination of the two will pretty much render the phone a paper weight unless whoever found the phone restores it. I've never had to restore the phone, so one question I have is could whoever has my phone gain access to my data after restoring it? Like will iTunes back up the data for them and then allow them to download it again to the phone?Is my data safe? I work for a media organization and I had some very sensitive and valuable data on that phone. The kind of data I could lose my job over if a third party were to somehow access it. Not to mention the countless phone numbers and the huge log of text messages that contained sensitive personal information. Also, please spare me the ridicule of asking why I had so much important information on the phone.I've spent the last week beating myself up over it, and needless to say have learned my lesson. Trust me when I say I"ve punished myself enough over this.After an initial search, it appears there are illicit ways to hack the phone and get around the passcode, however my understanding of the subject is limited, and my question boils down to: can someone access the data on my phone?I"m merely looking for peace of mind here.

I downloaded the BB desktop software because I needed to update the BB, so I connected the Blackberry Bold to the computer. And somewhere it decided to clean my phone completely. I was not asked to back up. I have asked some friends and they said that usually its always asking to backup before. I'm very disappointed by the last happenings at RIM. Is there anyway I can recover the lost data. As we can do with computers can we do the same with BB phone? I also have searched on my laptop some "ipd" files and found some strange MFL files but I cannot read them.

I have updated my wife's iphone 4 IOS to IOS 5 yesterday night without me realizing that the iTune account was under my name for my iPhone 3gs that i currently using So happily i have click update IOS 5.1 on her iPhone. This morning, when we woke up, to our horror, her entire contacts, emails, pictures and applications were wipeout and went hysterical cause all the contacts are her business partners. first off, something strange happened Nov 20, 2011 because that is the day my voicemail stopped working. ATT and APPLE could not figure out how to solve the problem - so I just had no voicemail until yesterday.
My iphone 4s' volume button broke, so I took it into the APPLE store to get a new phone. I backed up before I took the phone in, because I was pretty sure they would replace my phone - which they did
When I restored the phone to the 'most recent' back up, I lost ALL the data on my phone after Nov 20, 2011. All my texts, all the data about my baby that I have been keeping in a baby app - basically any app info. Even my camera roll reverted back to the way it was on Nov 20. (fortunately I had saved my pics to iphoto - so nothing really lost there)
I don't understand where all the info went when I backed up RIGHT before I went to the apple store.
I have looked on my computer and found the back up file, but I don't know what to do with the info in there. Oddly, I can't find a back up for 4/2/12 - the day I did the back up, but there are several back ups in March.. which would be better than the NOV back up.

I have reformated my computer , installed iTunes again, i connected my iPhone 4 to iTunes and synced my iphone. Because my iphone was having problems, i need to restore it to the original settings.
I connected my iPhone to iTunes, i hit the restore button, then after restore was done, i restored the backup that i have done, but i have lost all my songs, apps, videos, and tones that i have both from iTunes.
