I have recently updated my z3 compact to new firmware/OS. Now my contacts appear gone (though are still present in some other apps) and also I cannot save or add any new contact..Also android photos App not linking/recognized anymore by whatsapp or any other App..?
View 1 RepliesNormally, when I text there's always a tick next to all my text messages. I decided to send a text to everyone in my contact list in order to check whether their numbers were still working. I did get notifications that the text wasn't sent to some contacts which indicated that their numbers were no longer valid, but some of my other contacts did not have a tick next to their message and I didn't even receive an undelivered notification of those contacts. Does this mean that their numbers are no longer in use? here were ticks next to the contacts who I know had a valid working number.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi was wondering if anyone could help me to find my contacts! i used the backup function on my phone then reset the phone thinking i could restore my contacts! after resetting i went to restore and the percentage went up and said it had finished but still no contacts! call log restored though! i then tried to import the ones i had saved on my sim again it finishes loading but when i go into phonebook it comes up with the same screen saying, import sim contacts, sync and google sync. however when a sim contact txt me their name appeared! yet i cant get to them in my phonebook! also now my phone wont acsess the internet, i have enables data trafficing but it wont open the browser.what is going on! is there a simple solution i have missed?

I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. I can search for names in messaging and everyone from my phone contacts, to my facebook friends and even Fearne cotton from twitter is there! This is happening frequently now. I tried to "clear data" from Apps settings/contacts/clear data. But it didn't work. I want to use a Basic function of my phone, which is Calling.
So basically i woke up one morning with no contacts in my phonebook when i had about 50 the day before. So i now have no numbers and also it won't let me save contacts either :| i re-add a contact, it says saved, but then returns to the 'add a contact' page.

I am incredibly frustrated with the way the contacts app links contacts randomly and without my input.
Every now and again I have to delete all the contect on the Contacts app so I stop getting the "unfortunatelly contacts has sttopped" messate.
Everytime i do it, the application decides to link together contacts that are not at all related following some random set of rules. Funny enough, the links the application decides to stablish don't happen in the same way everytime everytime I do it.
This means that I spend more time sorting my phone contacts than enjoying my "top of the range" phone.
My Nexus S, more than four years old and running on 4.4.4, doesn't suffer any problems like this with the default contacts application.
My old cell died recently and I upgraded to a HTC Touch. I need to manually enter all my contacts onto the phone but I don't want to do it with the tiny keyboard. Is there some way I can enter them onto my PC and then import the contacts? I have them on my company outlook account but I can't sync with that.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi've been having one problem after another, i just security wiped my phone and i went to restore from my last backup. but my contacts didnt restore back onto the phone! i have no idea why it is not restoring back onto my phone. it is just greyed out when i try to restore in the desktop software. i have a mac btw. and i also lost all my bbm contacts because the last email i used to store my contacts was closed so i can no longer access it, if there are anyway to get those back please tell! i feel if i am able to restore contacts i can get them back!

I am pretty IT savvy so I googled the heck out of the issue. Here are the things I have tried. I started by going into Settings > Storage > Applications and cleared Data/Cache of several contacts related apps.I disabled the Google + app completely.I disabled all contacts syncing of all accounts and re-enabled.I made sure all apps are fully updated, even though when the problem first started all apps were out of date. Additionally, firmware is fully updated.Finally, I held volume up, power, and home button and wiped android cache partition.
My iMessage works with everyone in my contacts except for my boyfriend, I've already tried all the tips online?

Phone was sent in to be repaired. restored backup with BB protect. signed into BB ID with no problem. In the uninstalled section apps were missing that were downloaded to the phone prior to being repaired. I was able to update app world and bbm. All of my contacts are gone! What do i do to get my contacts back? What happened to my other apps that were previously downloaded?

It used to work before and now it does not work, they cant get my add requests, sometime added contacts get my messages. I don't get anything from them. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the iPhone 4 and whether I use the contacts app or the phone app to make a new contact, when I try to add a picture, it never saves. You would have to first create the contact, then go back and edit it and add a picture either by taking a photo or using an existing photo. Am I the only one having this problem?
Also, if you, for example add in name, number, etc then try to snap a photo, not only will it not save the photo, but the info you just added is erased kinda strange.
I have a Bold 9900. The contacts icon on my screen doesnot work. The phone hangs whenever i select the contacts icon. There are no memory issues. Even tried removing the battery.

I have "Ringtones" and "Notification" folders on the root of my SD card.
