Any best way or app to get rid of the annoying flashing banner ads that keep popping up at the bottom of my screen that are plaguing my new sony z2 mobile ...
The pop banner ads in question are things like your memory low' your phone going slow' you need this clean master' your battery running out' there's junk all over the place and needs cleaning' your mobile needs boosting etc
my daughter got a hold of my iphone and has some how turned on the banner with the clock and battery. it is only on during the scrabble game. how to get it off?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just switched to the iPhone 6 and I realize that when I'm on a phone call, my phone vibrates if I get a text or email, but no banner pops up showing what it is. When I had the iPhone 4s the banner notification would pop up on the screen so that I could see who had texted/emailed/etc. while on the phone without having to click into the notification center. Is there anyway I can change settings on my phone so that I can still get banner notifications while on a phone call?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI always use WhatsApp web. Before getting my Lumia 950 I used Android: when I received notifications on WhatsApp web the screen of the phone remained off so the battery wasn't suffering much.
On WP I first turned off the notifications on lock screen: then I realized it wasn't even making sounds nor vibrate! Then I turned the banner in WhatsApp notifications settings off: now the notifications are there without turning on the screen, but I have no banner even when the phone is unlocked.
Is there another way to prevent for every app the screen from turning on when locked and a notification arrives, and show normal banners when unlocked?
This was working very nicely on the iPhone. I'd setup a route via Google maps, and go. While driving a call would come in, I answer it. The phone screen is displayed.
Because the phone screen is displayed Google maps notifies me of an upcoming navigation instruction. It also auto mutes it's navigation voice so as to not disturb the phone call.
Google maps will also display the same notifications in the lock screen on IOS.
This is much the same as Android dropping down the phone controls when you're in a different app and an incoming call comes in.
I am having an issue with all day events when looking at them in day view. When I go to a day with an all day event scheduled all I see is the color banner on the top with no event description. When I click on the banner to open the event all the info is there. When in week view the information is displayed in the banner.

Now, I receive the full screen photo on one of my contacts, but everyone else has changed to a small banner at the top of the screen, with a very small photo in the top right corner. Whenever a banner alert appears from my home screen, it prevents me from going to open a different app. This is happened when using WhatsApp so I don't know if it's a third-party issue.Â

couple of weeks agao the stupid thing switched itself onto flight mode i did a seus update all has been fine untill yesterday the battery was charge but it turned itself off anyway and now it wont come back on all im getting is a red flashing light!
Iv'e tried everything i took the battery out for an hour put it back in tried to charge it left it on charge for a couple of hours nothing.Iv'e tried to re-update it but it wont recgonise being plugged in to the computer.
If the fastboot command 'fastboot flashing unlock' can be used on the Xperia Z5 and what it's effects are apart from disabling dm-verity? Sony live chat even refuse to answer if it can be run or not as it "modifies the software", even though there is no information on if it can be run or not.Â

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone came with GB 2.3.4 build .62 which is hard to root. So as the above guide directed, I downloaded a .42 build firmware, CE(Central Europe perhaps? I don't know) and tried to flash it using flashtool. I disconnected the phone from the PC in between. My phone wouldn't boot. Then I used SUS and updated it to ICS, making the phone work. I then flashed it to GB .42 patiently, and with success. Alas, problems started immediately. Many processes such as media, calender storage, acro etc came up as stopped working. Even after selecting force close they would keep appearing. I cleared the respective cache/data and the notifications stopped. Then I rooted it using Doomlord's toolkit, and updated to .62 via OTA, keeping my root. A few things have changed. The keyboard name is the same, International keyboard, but it is different and I don't like it. Camera is not working. Screen goes blank if I open the camera. Messaging does not work and the messaging app crashes as soon as I open it. No contacts are found, despite importing them again. (They all show up when using the import from SIM option, it says importing is done but they are nowhere to be found). Google search is not working and it crashes too.

I've tried the volume/power button resets.
Ok today my phone was sitting on my desk not being used at all. I hadn't used it in about 30 min before that and battery was at 75%. So i was sitting there and the screen turns on by itself I thought ok phone call or text. I try to unlock the screen I noticed there was no signal bars red x and screen would not unlock it was frozen then about 5 seconds the phone turns off.

Now it will not power on and I have tried 3 known good chargers but the led in the top flashes red. If I press power down button led stays solid red as long as I hold power button on when on charger. If I unplug from charger power button does nothing not even power + down or up volume. I even tried little yellow reset button next to sim card nothing. Is my 4 month old phone shot? The sony companion app on pc does not find phone either this blows.
The red line appearance flash 1-3second then stop. After a while, it flash again. Is there something wrong with my phone.?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was checking my phone one morning when it asked me to update, after that a message popped up saying that for the next update the phone had to be turned off for about 5 minutes. It never turned on again after that.I already posted a discussion notice about it not turning and the wonderful team member helped me and told me to flash my phone and try the updater. I've done both now and my phone is yet to turn on.I believe the flashing must of done something as now the LED light on the power button flashes red when I hold down it. But it still does not turn on.This has been really frustrating and the problem still continues to go on.Now when I try pc companion update service and hold the back button and connect the phone my PC doesn't recognize the device. Same message pops up if I just plug my phone in normally.

I've just bought an Xperia Play and I'm having trouble using it. I've been charging it for about 5 hours and the only thing that's happening is a flashing red light on the power button.
