Nov 7, 2014The red line appearance flash 1-3second then stop. After a while, it flash again. Is there something wrong with my phone.?

If found out I could fix it by resetting the phone which I did. Oct 17, 2011I have an icon that I can find nothing about. I have an xperia play and right below the clock in the upper right hand corner is a flashing icon that looks like a gear. It's an AT&T phone and their logo is right in the middle of it. I contacted them first and their tech support is stumped as well and suggested that I come here but I can find nothing on this site either. Nothing in any video I've seen or in the manual. Tried pushing it, nothing happens.

Jan 27, 2010I read many many E52 phones suffer Internal GPS fix problems. I don't beleve this is an hardware problem, but only a software bug. My experiments say this:
1) Start phone, start Ovi Maps -> No lock at all. (only 1 blinking line in bottom left corner)
2) Start phone, start McGuider (Sygic) navigator -> E52 locks quite immedeately. (in the same place!!)
3) After GPS is locked, start Ovi Maps again. Now also Maps works great!
4) Also the gps built-in application under Menu->Applications->GPS->GPS Data has the same behaviour as Ovi Maps.

Mar 25, 2010i have a ridiculous problem with E52. On the main screen on top right corner is always flashing envelope, despite the fact I have no new message. I have already deleted all messages several times, restarted mobile, took the battery out, nothing helped.

I think this is known as 'dead pixels'. it covers quite a patch of the top right corner of the screen. When I put pressure on the patch, it makes a jelly puddle momentum, just like when you put pressure of a laptop screen, you get that jelly puddle. Just to confirm, is it dead pixels that I've got? or would dead pixels black out on the screen and be unreadable when you touch in that area?

Jun 30, 2012I brought my Defy in October 2011. Since then it was four times at service. Dust keep entering behind the screen, mainly at the top left corner. Two times they cleaned it and replaced some rubber parts there. Nothing changed, after one or two weeks the dust appeared again. I asked them to send me a new one, but they refused it. A month ago they send me back the same phone without even cleaning it with notes that I'm using it in highly dusted environment against the IP67 (which is theoretically impossible in my country) Now, the whole upper part of the screen is dusted (see photo) and the screws are damaged due to the continuous repairs.
