Today i am facing problem with my new mobile and the screen having straight red line in the middle of the screen.I tried to reset, factory reset and battery also removed, restarted. Nothing works. My phone having the default Android os with 2.3.4 version.
I just got my nokia 5230. I tried the walk navigation, but after I set a destination, the route displayed is only a straight line between the start and end point. This is not walk navigation. I looked up Internet, it is said that I need to purchase a license for using walk and drive navigation.
But Nokia anounced that all navigation are free? Why should we still pay for it?By the way, I tried drive navigation, but the route is not a straight line fortunately, it's a normal route.
I have a green line going down the screen, which i am pressuming is a dead pixel line, i have not dropped my phone (as far as i can remember)I am still in contract by 3 network but they said that they do not cover screen faults or damage, what is the policy with SE as i do not want to have to pay £100+ to have a screen replaced i think i have had the device for about 1 year so far, does this mean that the warranty has ran out with SE
i just bought a new xperia ray a week ago. at first, the white line do not appear with the sony ericsson logo. i already updated the phone to 2.3.4. then after a few days every time i turn on the phone or plug the charger, a white line appears flashing at the bottom of the screen with the sony ericsson logo.
I now have a blue line in the left hand side of my Sony Xperia z2 It is also doing a little screen line flashes but they go away. It's like the refresh rate is too slow but I can't see anyway to look for it.
I turned off my phone then I put the SIM, after that I turned the phone as usual: Sony Ericsson -> Rogers -> then a blank screen with a white line on the above of the screen...
i have xperia neo gingerbread 2.3.4 kernel .62 i noticed a dark dead line on the top of screen which appears with dark colors for images . videos , games , applications ,,,, any thing falls in this site "i mean blue , red , grey , green ,.....",,, the depth of the darkness is proportional to the depth of the viewed color "i.e it ranges from faint grey to deep black ", i guess it's an issue of LEDs or something that couldnot emit those dark colors evidenced by not appearing with white or black i uploaded a screen shot with arrows pointing to the line i mean
So, I turned on my phone and now it goes straight to the bootloader. So, when I select "Start" option, screen turns black (can still see backlight shining though). It was sitting there for hours, but screen stayed black.
I did have a rooted phone, but I hadn't tinkered with it for about 6 months.
So recently I have purchased my samsung s6 but I dropped it twice. Unfortunately, the second time it was dropped it started blinking with horizontal lines. It still works but the blinking is kind of annoying. I already restarted it and turned it off but nothing works.
My Xperia Z2 is producing images with extreme distortion. Lines are almost never straight. This occurs both with the default camera apps as well as third-party apps such as Google Camera or Camera MX.  I sent in the phone to my local Sony repair partner in Germany (w-support), who are returning the phone, saying it "meets the manufacturer's specifications."  I can't believe this, the pictures look horrible!  The phone I now have is a replacement of a previous warranty case. I attached some pictures from the original phone and the new one (replacement).  I have the lastest pushed OS (Lollipop 5.0.2 I believe?) and the problem also occurs after a complete reset of the phone. The camera on this phone is basically worthless with images looking like this.Â
It took some time to upgrade to 2.1 and the process was not as straightforward as I had hoped but I eventually retrieved my contacts and re-installed my apps. Then I found a fundamental problem...I cannot answer any incoming calls!
When I swipe the bar across the screen to answer the phone it goes straight to voicemail. I have searched settings and cannot see why this is happening. Does anyone out there know what am doing or have done wrong?
Is this the same as an upgrade swap? I actually talked to ATT via online chat, and they said once an iPhone 4 is ordered, its stuck to that line. But im pretty sure thats not true.So I want to add a line with iPhone 4 then once I receive her, put it on my primary line, use a dummy phone on the new line, and cancel data on the new line. It works out because I need a new line anyway, I have unlimited data on my primary line, and it saves me some $$ in getting the iPhone at full discount price.
The only thing I was worried about was being able to cancel data, but the ATT rep said I can cancel data at any time. And to order online, I would need to add the single line to my account and order it, once I receive it then I can switch to family plan. Will I need to do the same call ATT and give them IMEI's of everything to swap? Anyone done something similar?
My wife's line isn't eligible for an early upgrade. AT&T wants 599 for an iPhone 4. Has anyone thought about. Doing this if you're in my shoes? Add a new family line and get an iPhone 4 for 199 and port out your old line and get an early termination fee of around $100 since she has had the phone for a year. Therefore the cost of a new phone is $299. AT&T said that I would have to wait 60 days to port the line back in otherwise it would be considered a win back.
Does anyone else get a strange line at the top of their screen when they are rebooting and on the screen which shows the Apple logo? It's not causing any problems I don't think but I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting it
I've been seeing a mysterious black thin line across my LCD screen.Sometimes it apeears for longer than five minutes.I have not dropped my phone and I have a screen protector over it.
I recently noticed on my blackberry 9360 that there is a black line on the screen that keeps getting bigger. I haven't dropped my phone and there hasn't been any water damage. What causes the line?
I have had AT&T and my Motorola Atrix for a little over a month now. It was a day after my 30 days to return the phone when I noticed that I had a brown line going down the left side of my screen. When I brought the problem up to AT&T they wanted to replace the phone with one of there refurbished phones. I decided to keep my current phone since I just spent 200 dollars on the phone. Last night while charging the phone while it was powered down I noticed that the brown line had now turned green and was bigger but still just on the left side of the phone. I have completed checked for updates and the phones says "up to date". I am lost for what to do I love the phone and leaving Verizon was the best move I made.
My Xoom screen observed "Dotted Line"eed to send my Xoom to hospital again I had replace the LCD on 8 Oct 11 due to "Oil SLick/Newton Rings"Now LCD issue aga
