My Xperia Z2 crashes every 2 weeks and the only way I can fix it is to do an online repair, after crashing it sometimes won't get past the loading screen and if it does no apps work, if I can fix this without buying a new phone that would be great.

View 12 Replies View Relatedi recently bought Neo v and it's only 3 weeks old.When i use internet or speak for 20 min it gets heated like a boiler and I have updated my mobile to ICS.Feeling really very disappointed with it.When i asked my retailer about it he gives a wierd answer stating that every smart phone gets heated up quickly,but my friends who are using Neo V dosn't face this problem.It's really sad within 3 weeks i am facing this problem.

In addition, the touch screen does not work! The man at the service centre said it would take 5 working days or more and it has been 2 weeks.
View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving issues with the Z5 when it comes to opening messages, mine will show opening conversation for 20 seconds before actually opening a message then once i complete the message the phone crashes and i have to close all open apps, phone is one month old and I am beginning to regret the change from an iphone. MMS's always make the phone freeze also.
I was hoping a software update would of fixed this issue but sadly it didnt. Not too keen on a much slower phone than previous phone for a further 23 months as this is the remainder of my contract.
the phone was purchased 4 months ago and regularly freezes and crashes when using it. The software also sometimes will perform the wrong function when an icon or button on the phone is pressed. I have tried updating the software to see if that would help but for the last 2 weeks I have been told that the Update Centre is overloaded and I can't download the new software.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded some official small apps like Mirror from Google Play Store, but they just don't appear when I tap their icons on the small app manager. However, those stock small apps like Active Clip work well. Also, I tried some third-party small apps. They won't show up through the small app manager unless they can be run once through the launcher first. My Z2 is on the latest 1.232 fw.

At first I thought it was due to low battery, but it does it at full charges as well. It does it more specifically with apps that use a lot of memory (or refreshing of information online), such as maps, weather, facebook, etc. Should I revert to an earlier iOS?

I tried to wipe partitions, make a factory reset, format partitions, flash stock 1 file and stock 4 files (with pit file inside). Sometimes the phones freezes and I need to restart it, sometimes it's rebooting by himself. When I'm working with it about a minute, apps start crashing.

I initially tred to update my phone from Win XP and it failed with error - "Unable to install or start phone software update components". I then retried from Mac and it was updated successfully. However, after update hard keyboard has stopped working with apps.
I have tried to repair it from my XP (since in Mac Bridge I did not find the option for repair) and it failed again with the above error.
When I click on apps my phone crashes back to main menu.

I just go my Droid Razr Maxx two days ago, and after installing a few apps, I tried performing a search in the All Apps screen. An error message popped up saying The application Home-screen (process com.Motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. try again. and then the Homescreen reboots and everything works except in the All Apps.

At this moment, the device was charging and when I try ti turn it on, all I get is a screen mixed with lines of yellow, pink and green, almost like an untuned television.

Options -> Tools -> Settings -> Navigation then Ovi Maps crash and exits.
I had this problem with earlier versions of Maps aswell, and I am really interested to fix this.
