My radio was not working, untill i disabled the 'ok google' trusted voice security feature.
why is it these two cant work together?
I'm running android version 5.1.1
is there a way of disabling the voice control feature on the iPhone 4? I'm using the "hold the home button" action for something else by way of Activator and it's annoying that if I hold it a little too long it'll launch voice control.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI got my Xperia Z2 today, and I found that teh Google Now voice option doesn"t work, It looks like it's recording, even when there's no sound at all. It completely ignores me when I speak. There is no relation to my speech and the red indicator flashing. Then it goes back to "Say "Ok Google" or tap mic". In fact other voice functions such as in the google play store, or google maps, or google voice typing don't work and exhibit the same bizarre behavior. Just to find out, I tried voice functions on a third party keyboard app (Swype) which doesn't seem to work too.
I have done a factory reset, updated to the latest firmware, updated the apps, but still the problem persists. I suspect the hardware is to blame, not the software.
Iv just aquired a X10 mini. Am very excited! But see I have a lot to learn with all this extra technology. One QUESTION tho. Does it have .or where can I get a voice/sound-recording app. Id need to do voice recordings at meetings, and as yet cant find this option.

I have the same settings on my Nexus 5, but it only seems to work when I open the Dropbox app. It does not happen automatically after I take a picture. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it still seems to have the same issue.
I want to permanently disable this feature and can't find where to do so. When using a bluetooth headset, if I press the button in a call, it hangs up. However, if the other end hangs up first, my phone calls a random number from the phone book when I try to hang up myself. The same happens if the headset gets touched accidentally.

Smart Lock for Trusted devices (that is, bluetooth) works fine. however, Trusted places does NOT work EVER.
i can add Trusted places such as Home, my office, etc.... but it does nothing. no matter what, it won't allow me two swipe up to access the phone- it requires my PIN 100% of the time.
Location Mode is High accuracy (GPS and networks).
I've rebooted many times. I've added, removed, and added places... no place ever works for this feature.
Whenever I try to use voice input with any application installed, the feature does not work with my phone, I get a box, displaying connection problemak againI have enabled the voice input, in the settings of NeoV. Though I did not see this working.

Now if I am listening to something on the Audible app or Pocketcast app the Google Maps voice will not break in with directions. There will just be a brief silence where it is trying to speak but no actual voice. If I pause the book or music the maps voice works. If I turn the Bluetooth on the phone off the voice breaks through just fine on the phone speaker. It's very frustrating.

The only thing I dislike about my Torch is that every time I'm on a call I accidently put people on mute, hold or sometimes even call someone else. This happens when my ear or face touches the phone. This is hard to prevent so is there a way to lock the screen when on a call.

I'm making video with this phone and everytime i plug in STM10, that google voice boot up... not only that some times it also boot up while i'm recording.. in result, i have to start over.. this is very annoying. so how do i actually turn it off? i search all over google, they all say, i can trun it off from google setting -> search&now -> voice -> hot word detection... however once i go into voice, there is nothing there that indicate that i can turn this unnessasary setting off.

I assumed that I would be able to remove lock screen security during the times when I don't need to create a hotspot. But now it will not let me disable the security.
