Google Nexus 6 :: Inaccurate Battery Usage Below 60%
Dec 24, 2015Since have charging issues with the original cable that came with my phone breaking and getting a new phone my phone has not been accurately showing the battery usage below 60% it just cuts off there. Time wise it seems to be wearing down at a normal rate though. How do I remedy this issue?

Nov 1, 2011Today i updates my galaxy s2 through Samsung Kies. Everything went well and it took about 10 minutes to complete. There is one small problem though, in settings ->battery usage its fully charged and saying i have 1m 50 s on battery?!! And when i open the graph it says i have 27 seconds on battery! Whats going on? How can i fix this? I hope this is not a true indication of my current battery level and will cut out at anytime.

Jul 17, 2012With ICS, under System Settings, we got this new nifty Data Usage graph where you can move sliders around to look at usage during different periods of time and set mobile data warning and mobile data limits and also see data used by individual apps. However, it has a disclaimer on it that says that this data usage graph is as measured by your phone and that your phone carrier's data usage measure may differ.
My data usage graph on the phone currently shows 643 MB for July 1 to July 17 whereas the VZW data usage widget and when looking at my account online, it currently shows 1097.05 MB (or 1.071 GB) for the same time period. How can those 2 numbers differ by that great of a margin?

Mar 27, 2013Observed high memory usage of internal disc space after 5.0.2 update. Google updates kill my Z2 usability, I have system, all google stuff to keep me running, gmail, drive, maps, chrome etc. One game, one office suit, calendar, small app needed in work and can't even install sony privilege cause only 750 mb is left free, all available apps are moved to 64GB SD card. How much memory will be left after 5.1 update? Is new system smaller than before, how can we extend the inside disc capability, leaving the device functionality? Is it the same for Z3 and Z3+, they also have just 16Gb of internal memory?Â

May 3, 2010I've got a Nokia N95 with the latest 35.0.002 firmware and a brand new genuine Nokia BL-5F battery. When I first got the battery I cycled it twice to calibrate the gauge as recommended. However, it shows 100% 7 bars until the battery is almost discharged, when it will drop about a bar every 10 minutes until it no longer switches on. This is quite annoying as I don't know how much battery I have left. I'd like it to stop lying to me and drop steadily according to how much charge is left. Also, if I discharge the battery a bit by, say, browing the web so the battery gauge is still showing full and then plug the charger in for a few seconds and unplug it again, it then shows me the true battery level by dropping a couple of bars. However, it will get "stuck" at this level until the charger is connected and disconnected again.It shows full for about two days of heavy usage - WiFi, 3G, GPS and all that, upon when the gauge drops. Is there a way to calibrate it better or should I flash the phone again? Or is the battery faulty?

Jun 5, 2014My girlfriend bought a used iPhone 4s several months ago, and soon after noticed that the battery indicator didn't reflect the real charge. Sometimes it would switch off at 28%, and other times the battery indicator would go from fully charged to almost nothing in a very short period, without using any battery hungry apps. Even when the indicator seemed to work properly the battery would only last a few hours under regular use.Â
The problem remained after I upgraded the phone to iOS7, so I figured the battery was just on its last legs. However, today she had a brand new battery fitted (probably off-brand, as she had it replaced in a technology market in Bangkok), and the problem persists. The phone switched off when the indicator read 30%. Â
what could be causing an indicator problem that persists with different batteries?

Jan 22, 2012random restarts - the first month i had my electrify, it would only restart itself once a week or so. now within the last couple of weeks its jumped up to around 5 times a day. i kept track of variables as the restarts happened, and it does it at any battery level and during anything im doing, such as text, pandora, Internet, in-call. my first guess is that is in app that constantly runs in the background, and i was wondering if any more experianced users could tell me where and what to look for.

Then I'll shut it off and turn it back on a few hours later and my battery would drop a significant percentage like 30% or so. Jul 26, 2015I have a aggravating problem that started about a month ago. My phone and battery are not communicating. I am running 5.0 It began one day, I thought I was getting great battery life. It turned out the indicator was stuck at 56% . Now it just stays at 100% . Battery life is normal, I can go all day. How much battery is left. When it's done it dies.
When I go to Battery in settings it says battery data not available. I am sure this is a software issue. Whether it is a app or the OS? After the factory reset I was very careful about what I installed. Recently installed Battery Dr. It stays at 100% as well.
Here is what I've tried.
1. Bought a new battery. This seemed to correct at first, but now both battery act the same.
2. Did a factory date reset. Again this seemed to be the fix. But the issue came back.
3. Wiped the data cache. No real change.

Feb 1, 2010I installed it last night because it looked interesting. Similar to the MobileMe Find My iPhone but free. Anyways, woke up today (8AM) to go to school. My classes are from 8:30AM-2:15PM. I only have a 1 hour break in which I listened to Slacker radio while I used library computer.
When my last class of the day came around, I saw my battery meter, 8%! It then died 5 minutes later without no use whatsoever except that 1 hour of Slacker Radio and that's all!Nothing was running in the background or anything! Jul 27, 2010Over the past week or so, I've noticed that my Iphone 4 battery seems to be depleting faster than it had been previously. I've also noticed that my usage time seems quite high, based on my actual usage.To test this a bit, I unplugged my phone at 100% this morning, confirmed that the "time since last full charge" counters were reset, and left my phone untouched for the next 3+ hours. After that time:
Standby: 2hrs, 41 minutes
Usage: 1hr, 13 minutes
Battery: 95%
I do have 3 email accounts configured, with the polling interval at 30 minutes. Push email is disabled.How would I have racked up 73 minutes of usage without touching the phone? I've tried rebooting the phone, but that didn't seem to have much effect...
Moto X (2014) :: Battery Usage Data Isn't Available
Dec 15, 2014Last night i put my phone on the charger and when I unplugged it in the morning the battery symbol showed 100% but still showed the charging symbol and stated it was charging. When I tapped on the battery symbol is had the graph but stated "battery usage data isn't available". I shut down/re-started and it still shows "battery usage data isn't available". How can I get things back to normal.
