View 1 Repliesi hav xperia neo v. i used to conect my phone to my hdtv bt frm last week i am unable to connect my phone to the hdtv. when i connect my phone to the hdtv , my phone flashes a notification sayng 'hdmi connected' which dissaperars after few seconds n flashes again . this is continuing n the tv is showng 'no signal'.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI used to have Maps 2 on my phone until very recently however I upgraded to Maps 3 over the Christmas period, this was working fine while I was in the UK. I have since travelled to Russia (in Moscow) and have had nothing but problems. First of all I am not able to get a GPS signal although when I was here before Christmas (Maps 2) it was working fine. When I start maps I go on line and also have my position set by Network this does not work either. I have done the following since without sucess.
1) I have connected my phone to the computer in Mass storage mode and removed the folder'Cities' and the qf file as stated in the help file.
2) I have reloaded the phone software to my phone.
3) I have reloaded Maps 3 on my phone.
4) I have loaded the Map of Russia on my phone (which takes a good 6 hours due to my company firewall)
5) After this has loaded I have tried my maps on the phone and can see down to street level but my position is not indicated either by GPS or the network (network MTS Vodafone Partner).
6) When the map has loaded from the computer to the phone I can see the map on my phone using the OVI Pc Suite.
7) If I remove my phone from the computer and then reconnect it the OVI Pc Suite says there are no maps on my device.
8) I downloaded Albania and also cyprus before loading Russia again, whilst still connected to my computer I can see all 3 of these maps but if i disconect and connect again it says no maps are on my phone.
I have spent the last 5 days trying to get this to work without sucess. As I am currently working here in Russia this device is invaluable to me but at the moment it is not providing much use apart from taking up my companies bandwith with downloads. I think I posted this on the wrong board earlier, Since then I have downloaded the UK map and this time after it downloaded I could see it in the OVI Pc Suite, I opened maps on the phone while still connected to the computer and after I closed it OVI Suite said there where no Maps on my device although there are. I am still not getting a GPS signal I even left the phone on the window sill for one whole night with no obstructions and still never got a GPS signal.
The signal on my blackberry has been very poor of late, and pretty sure its my phone rather than network. The signal is pretty much always on EDGE or GSM where the internet does not work, as well as Apps such as Facebook and Twitter, and do not receive my messages/BBM's and can't make calls at time - the call just fails- so I'm guessing there's something wrong with my signal of the phone.

i just bought iPhone 6+ 64 GB in Thailand and transfered all my info to the new nano simcard. After 6 hr driving back to my hometown I charged my battery as it run out. The next day my phone signal is lost (it says "searching...") But the wifi connection is on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI live in a poor reception area on the Rogers network. I've noticed that when I go into the basement the phone drops a signal pretty quickly. I am okay with this and is expected. My issue is when I get back on to the main floor, the phone does not pick up a signal again for a long time. Sometimes even toggling airplane mode doesn't work. My wife's iPhone does the same thing.
Anybody else having this problem?
What do these Icons represent or mean, and the meaning when they change Colors from White to Blue (Status Icons). There was a GB 2.3.4 User Manual Posted on Moto's site, Unfortunately no information was included about these Items. What does it mean when all three are blue, Including the H+ icon having arrows beneath it at the same time? View 15 Replies View RelatedI've updated to the latest baseband and main firmware and have tried a software repair but if I leave the phone on WDCMA (preferred)/GSM and leave it in work bag I find that when I check later Time Without Signal goes to 70% or more, GSM is better than 3G round here but what is going on, if I fix it to one or the other the figure is much less.

When I try to call it says I am in flight mode even though it is off. I had a friend who had this problem but it fixed itself.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy xperia x10 keeps dropping the signal very frequently. It happens mostly within 3-4 seconds of picking a call. On the notification bar, the signal goes from full to zero, it shows the no sim card symbol for a moment, and then the signal reappears. Another problem is when I call someone, the screen goes blue. I can't cut the call or see whats happening, though the call does go through. I factory reset the phone, and then restored it back again. The problem went away for a day, but has started again now.

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter I upgraded my neo V with latest android 4.0 ICS,the phone dosen't show signal and is mostly showing Emergency Calls only...I think the upgrade has some bugs because until I was on 2.3.4 it worked and showed signal and I could make and receive calls.I also tried other sim cards but the result was same.

My phone constanly loses signal yet when i search or start using the phone even when I haven't moved from where I've been standing or sat for the last hour or so the phone suddenly jumps to 2 or 3 bars on the signal icon! How can that be if I'm stationary it goes from nothing to 2 or 3 bars?? Also my family who are on the same network but have iphones & blackberry don't have this problem, always have strong signals as we live in a good signal strength area but I'm the only one who can't get a signal. If I go to work other people can use their phones-also on o2 but I get nothing! I get texts hours & days after they're sent to me, calls get sent to voicemail as I have no service, o2 sent me a new phone so it's not the phone, it's a new sim, I've tried going on gsm only, rebooting, turning off the radio etc etc but I'm no better off, I'm at my witts end & ready to switch to another brand phone.

I have found that there seems to be no correlation between the signal strength (in dBm / asu) in Settings -> About phone -> Status and the signal bars that are shown. Often the signal bars will shoot from 1 to 5 or 6 even with really low signal ( ~97 to > 100 dBm) that doesn't fluctuate.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI mean the signal recieved by Z2 is very poor, I have to be very close to the router in order to get a good signal. When I get far from router - 4or5 meters - the signal becomes poor . I don't loose the signal but it becomes so poor. In comparison my wife had a samsung phone but the signal on her phone still strong. She even can access other WIFI signals using her phone, while I can't cause my phone doesen't even see the WIFI signals. Is there any method or any update to solve this?

It often says 'no service' if not 'emergency calls only'. On the first week, it's not that worst but now almost anywhere I can't contact, except when.in very high open places. My friends have signal bars whereas I have none. I tried changing sim and even factory data reset (as told by the shop) but I don't think my problem was solved.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have my phone for 5 months. Never have i encountered this problem, probably few times but a little restarting fixes it. I'm not having signal at all.. It would say "No service" when you swipe down and check the status. The status symbol is a right triangle only without any bars.Im using the same sim card for 3 years. I tried inserting my sim card on different phone and it works on that other phone(nokia asha 210). Im not able to make/receive calls or text and get mobile data, not even our local emergeny number. When trying to make an outgoing call, it says "mobile network not available". Tried every possible setting changes on Settings>Mobile Networks. Chose different APN and network type. Deleted APN and recreating manually. Went to safe mode and ultra stamina mode, just to see if an app is doing this still no. Finally i master resetted the phone. Still not working.
