I have a Xperia X10 mini, the problem I have is: I set a song from my music libery as a signal for the sms (text messaging) when I recieve one. When I recieve a message and open the message to read it,the music signal tune won't stop and it's keep on going on and on and on, there is no way to stop it.

Suddenly the screen got blurry with spots n bad TV signal when music app was on.
After a while the screen went completely blank. I force switched it off. After three hours I switched it back on. It is showing unstable screen with color spots everywhere.
When a music is played, pressing the "back" button will push the player to background. How can I stop the that? in the support manual only it is tated how to push to background or delete the track!

I use my D3 to listen to music. I have the mp3s stored on a memory card in my phone. I have music version v4.1.513. Before the update the music played fine. After the update the music will skip/click when ever my cell or data signal changes. I work in a very low / no cell signal lab so the phone is continuously losing signal and getting it back. This cause the music to skip/click every time. Not related to the update my phone still does not like to play music over bluetooth and do navigation at the same time. I have the phone linked to my car radio for navigation and I listen to music from the phone. It will reboot after about 15 minutes of use.

Songs start playing spontaneously ever since I did an update to my iphone 4 and have the "music" icon instead of the "ipod" icon on the phone. I stop the music and make sure the music app isn't even open but the songs just start up by the themselves anyway. Help. this makes the battery run down and is very embarassing when I'm in the middle of a meeting!

I just got my iphone and don't even hardly know what an app is. I suppose if you compared it to an icon on a computer I might better understand.or not. Anyway I downloaded some itunes music and started it playing and I don't know how to close it/make it stop.And other things I opened I get the feeling they are still open and running in the background. when I unplug my headphones music (in my case podcast) continues to play when I unplug my headphones. The audio comes out the built in speakers at the bottom of the phone. Other times, I get a short (less than 1 second) bit of sound out of the bottom built in speakers. This is really annoying to my wife who wakes up from the sound when I unplug my headphones in bed after she has gone to sleep. I expect no sound out of the peakers when I unplug the headset. Seems like a timing issue and a surprise removal can be hard to deal with, but you got it right with the 900.I used to have that phone before the 920 and it never had that issue.

Lately (Since latest S/W upgrade to MA 1.7.12 N8) during the workout after few songs , the music start to get crazy, Song play for a few seconds and skip to the next song. later it get stuck. the coaching continue as usual. When i use music without the workout run or coaching then its fine. did anyone encounter it? when can we expected a new release of S/W to fix this BUG
View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, walking to my car this morning, my Atrix began to play an audiobook file (MP3). One that I had listened to days ago.
After months of using the phone and happily listening to audio books this issue has just occured this morning.
I swiped open the phone only to find that the (stock) music player was not actually running. Have not been able to find a way to stop the file(s) from playing.
Observations:
1. rebooting the phone simply restarts the playback of the file from its begining.
2. When the phone is sleeping (screen black), I have no control of the volume (as I would using media player)
3. If I swipe the phone to vibrate or silent, the playback goes silent (though I believe it continues playing)
4. I don't believe I have any ther media players installed.
5. Attempting to play a file in the (stock) music player, results in the file trying to play (the slider moves left to right), but only the audiobook is audible.
6. Have tried cycling power, removing battery, and ManageApps->clearing cache, and even uninstalling a number of downloaded apps - nothing helps.
7. I don't believe my phone vibrates any longer when I receive a notification for incoming text or email.
I had many reasons to buy the 5800 but one of them was the music player. I listen to it in the gym using BT headphones. Frankly I'm amazed I never see anyone else with BT headphones but that's a different topic. Best music technology ever
The problem is that despite this being an Xpressmusic device the music player is a bit marginal, IMO. The thing I miss most compared to regular mp3 players is the capability to remember where it was stopped the last time. You're listening to a playlist and you turn of the player when you go home. Next time you turn on the player you want it to pick up where it was and continue with the same song in the same location in the same playlist. You could say you could remember where you stopped but that's silly. What if you had a long podcast or audio book? Wouldn't it make sense to continue where you stopped?
I realize I can pause the player and keep it running in the background but that means I can't power of my phone, right? I've looked at two alternative players and they don't seem to support this most basic feature either. Why? Doesn't anyone take phones seriously as mp3 replacements? I hope Nokia reads this and considers sneaking in this minor feature in the next 5800 update or as an Ovi download.
If I want to have my phone available for handsfree calls and hear the directional prompts using Nokia Drive in my 2011 Acura TSX (not tech package) I have to have the audio set to Bluetooth Audio. But when I do that the Music app automatically starts and plays music. I can turn it off (using the Stop the Music app), but it comes back on after a few seconds. How can I make it stop playing music?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave had my HTC One since last September. Never had any issues until today. No matter what music app I'm using, even Google play, the music will stop playing. It happens on different songs and with different headphones. The headphones icon still shows stays up. So the plug is good. But I have to keep unlocking my phone and restart the app. It's like every app closes. I'm running all stock. Never rooted. I restarted my phone. It worked for a few minutes but started up again.
Also noticed when you lose Internet connection a phrase down on the bottom of the screen pops up that says "yikes you lost Internet connection" I've never seen this before. Especially using the word "yikes" seems odd to me. I'm was on my home screen when it happened.
I connect my phone to my car's Bluetooth system during my drive to work in the morning in case I get a call. I usually listen to a podcast on my iPod, then switch to a CD if the podcast episode ends before I get to work. To do so, I flip past my Bluetooth audio setting on my radio. I've already disabled the Bluetooth connection for media in my phone, but all that's done is stop music from playing through the speakers of my car. My phone still begins to auto-play music, either music that's stored in my phone or launching Spotify and starting to play what I last listened to on there. I really don't like having to go onto my phone and close the app while I'm driving.
