My xperia x10 keeps dropping the signal very frequently. It happens mostly within 3-4 seconds of picking a call. On the notification bar, the signal goes from full to zero, it shows the no sim card symbol for a moment, and then the signal reappears. Another problem is when I call someone, the screen goes blue. I can't cut the call or see whats happening, though the call does go through. I factory reset the phone, and then restored it back again. The problem went away for a day, but has started again now.
Okay so i have had my z2 for just over a month now all was well but it now drops signal regularly at home and at work. Girlfriend has a htc m8 on same network and hers does not have issues also when it does drop it fails to reconect i have cleaned the sim done a factory reset.
Last few days (even before 4.4.4 update) my m8 data would drop on and off. Restarted and no use. Same. Cell signal is full bars but data would drop after being on for several minutes. It would drop for 2 minutes or so. Toggling data on and off or airplane mode is a temporary fix sometimes. Over the course of this post it has dropped 2x.
My iPhone 4 keeps dropping signal every few seconds, then regaining it, then losing it again. I have to restore my phone to its factory setting which seems to work, but this is the second time is happened in as many months.
I'm a prepaid user situated in dbn. Got my 9780 in aug lastyear. In april bis signal keeps dropping repeatedly and takes forever to come back on. Customer care fixes it until I get an app update and the phone has to reboot, it goes haywire again. Startin to annoy me, as I'm txtn ryt nw the bis signal has dropped.
My colleague and I both have Bold 9900's, one on Vodaphone and the other T-Mobile. Both of seem to be experiencing similar problems with the signal reception at different times and places. Whilst at home I can have a great signal of 3 or 4 bars but without moving the phone it will suddenly fluctuate and more often than not it will drop to zero and give the SOS display. I can then wait varying amounts of time for the signal to pick up again. I have the same problem in my office and in other areas so I am sure it's not the signal. My colleague has very similar problems and sometimes the signal does not recover in adequate time to make a call or send a message so we have to remove the battery before the phone signal recovers. I have also tested my wifes Blackberry Curve alongside mine and it is fine.
i have a blackberry curve 8520 and when i am at home it connects to my route but then it will drop the signal and then pick it up again and so on, it only seems to stay connected for about 2 mins at a time even if i am nearly sat on the route is my blackberry faulty?
i have had my iphone 4 for about 4 5 months as this was a replacement. but now i keep having this issue. i have had it for about a month. i connect to my internet and it works perfectly. surfing the web facebook all works. but soon as i go on to Internet and click on a video every 4 - 5 minutes the wifi signal drops and to get it back i have to ecit to the home screen and wait for a couple of seconds. then i go back onto the video and it happens again. this happens on alot of wifi connections not just my one what could be the issue?
My brand new Galaxy S6, with the most up to date drivers, appears to randomly drop my data connection. After several restarts and updates to the OS, still seems to randomly occur. The error I receive is "No network connection. No signal found for mobile networks." My (very) old phone had a very strong signal in my area. Faulty device?
It happens like 15 times a day. Its almost as if I hang up the phone on the person. I know it isn't the network because I actually have better signal than I did with my S4 on Tmobile and I never dropped calls with that phone. This issue I think is software related I think. I did read somewhere on the forums that on verizon people said it was the VoLTE (HD calling) if so that sucks because I love HD calling.
iPhone keeps going from 3G to Edge and then showing no bars. And after I turn off cellular data and put it back on to get back 3G it loses all bars completely and goes to "searching.." and then finally "no network"Â and then I have to manual search for my network. Whole problem starts happening all over after connecting again.
Always maintained a very strong 3g signal, 5 bars always no matter where I was. The last 3 or 4 days my signal started dropping like crazy to EDGE - edge - to gps or whatever to no signal. Did everything to try and fix it. Called T-Mobile about the problem and they said no problem we are sending you a new 9700. I will have it Wednesday afternoon. I asked if it will be a new one or refurbished, she said a new one. You can't beat that with a stick. They have the best customer service out of all the carriers. Just wanted to tell my recent experience with my carrier.
I purchased an iphone over kijiji locked to rogers and jailbroken to 3.1.2. During my days of owning it i found that the signal would drop randomly to 0 bars and proceed to "searching" to look for a network.. Ive looked this issue up plentiful over these forums and found that blacksnow seemed to be the culprit. After going through cydia i found that blacksnow was installed so i uninstalled it. I thought the problem was solved but a couple of minutes later after using apps that use 3g the connection dropped again. I dont know how this phone was jailbroken. its the 3gs with the old bootrom. ive never had this issue with my 3g phone. I restored again using redsnow and still same problems.
My wife and I have two photons since Septermber 1st. They have been working fine until a week ago. Since then mywife's photon is dropping calls signal in our house. Both phones have full bars when not maling a call. When you dial anumber my wifes phone looses all bars and cannot make a call. My phone still has one bar or so it works. The data connectionworks perfectly (texting etc.). Wife's phone also works at other locations. So, I presume something has happened to the signalat the house but why does my phone work better? Is data and phone signals differ like this? We have been using Sprint phones
My nexus 5 GPS used to work GREAT under kitkat. However, after the Lollipop OTA update the gps signal keeps dropping and I am not able to use any navigation system.
I did try the factory reset but it didnt work.
A friend of mine is also facing the exact same problem, we both have the 32GB model.
My girlfriend, however, has not faced any issue after the ota update (she has the 16GB model). Her GPS works great! Our basebands versions are exactly the same.
My S5 constantly drops calls. I have done a search and I do not have HD voice. My mobile network is set to Global. The signal strength will fluctuate wildly from 4 bars to 0 and drop. happening at least 50% of time. Many iphones in the house no dropped calls.
Yesterday my sony xperia Z2(d6503 , just kept dropping wifi and my bluetooth connection to my smart band. I have tried reseting the phone but still not working. I am running android 4..4.4 , build number 23.0.1.A.0.167
My wifi keeps dropping in and out. All of the wireless security passwords are correct, but the WIFI tab on the phone keeps saying "scanning", connects and then disconnects. It even does it to unsecure wireless networks
I got the xperia z5 for Christmas and noticed that the WiFi was almost constantly dropping during use. I brought the phone back and got a replacement but it occurs with the new one too as it seems its a well known problem.
Basically, my wifi just drops during use and it requires me to turn wifi off and back on again so it will reconnect. I could easily do this 5 times within a couple of minutes, other times it will barely happen.
Recently i have noticed a strange problem with my X10. During a call the volume drops to practically minimum and i have to boost it up again only to have it dropping which is a huge inconvenience. I tried to byepass this by installing "Volume lock" while this helps it does help in keeping the volume at a fixed level it does not address the root cause of the problem.
I can be browsing the internet on my phone, i put the phone down for a while then when i try to go back on the net it wont work. I have to disable the wifi connection then reconnect for the phone to connect to the internet. This happens everytime i try to go on the net. Every other device in the house ie phones laptops etc works fine with no connection problems.
I am having a strange issue when using both Bluetooth and Wifi simultaneously.
This happens pretty regularly when using the Spotify app whilst having the phone audio connected to a Bluetooth speaker. The pairing process works without issue. However, as soon as I begin searching the app for music, and select a track for playing, the WiFi connection drops. Sometimes It eventually reconnects, other times I have to go back to settings and manually select the network once again.
During the connection drop, I can still see the Wifi network and all my other devices still remain connected. Rebooting the doesnt fix it, nor does disabling/enabling the wifi. Its rendering the phone useless for music streaming!
i'm located in Malaysia and have been calling the network operator asking if they have data connection problem and they said NO. i have friends using the X10 with different network operator and experiencing the same thing..is this hardware or the upgrade?
I'm currently experiencing some problems with my wifi on my xperia z2 and every 2 or 3 seconds my wifi keeps droping out and connecting to the mobile network and i've tried restarting my handset and seems fine for like half hour then it goes back to dropping out now would it be something to do with my software as i'm currently on 5.0.2 or is it best i do a factory reset as i've not done one it like 8 months from when i first got my phone..
Went through the Over Air update process yesterday, now WIFI drops all the time and the battery performance is so poor the phone will not last a day!Can I put back the old SW or get this fixed some how? (edit a config fiel or something.......?)
My Z5 compact while receiving a call has very loud ringtone volume only for about 1 second, than it drops by around 60%... The same issue occurs while listening to music on speakers, it is loud for 1 second than volume drops... It is not caused by any setting I think.
