When making many calls often the first thing they ask me is to select an option by pressing 1 or 2 etc.Currently as soon as they ask this I have to abandon the call.I only have a screen whilst I can access the keyboard when not making a call,How do I access the keyboard whilst I am on a call?
View 1 RepliesI can't seem to find settings to access the screen menu when on a call, it won't let me change volume or anything! I was able to set the power button to hang up when on a call but the screen stays dark and I can't access it at all.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia z3+ turns black when I do a call. It doesnt react anymore until the called one ended the call. Very uncomfortable since you cant end a call yourself of put the speakers on or what ever. I restarted phone, it still appears. Sometimes pressing the start button works. 90% it doesnt.

My first iphone 4s which I got at the end of March did this from day one. Whilst on a call, a loud shrill tone would cut in and it was so loud I had to take the phone away from my ear; it lasted up to 20 seconds then the call would cut back in again. On the other end, the person I was speaking to wasn't aware of anything, no noise but it went kind of dead for the duration. This problem was intermittent, not on every call, sometimes twice in one call.
I took the phone back to apple who exchanged it straight away for a new handset which was brilliant service. The very first call I made on the new phone-bang, exactly the same thing. I could not believe it. I got to wondering if it may be the brushed steel protective case so I changed that for a plastic one but it still does it. Not as often as the first phone but it still does it. Any ideas what it could be? I am almost embarrassed to go back to apple again but it can't be me can it? The phone is only 2 weeks old!

I recently updated my xperia z2 to lolipop 5.0.2 ... And whenever i am on the phone talking to someone, sometimes I need to write down the instruction or things that mentioned on the phone by writing it down on my phone... But i am no longer can open my keyboard while on phone... Not just on my notes app... Even my messaging apps and sms too... Its annoying while I don't have pen and pencil while I trust my phone to keep d note...

Though sony decided to discriminate the Indian users by not giving the noise cancellation head or the LTE model ....considering its 50K phone here ... which is not cheap
Aside from what mentioned above there are 2 more things that’s bother me...
1. There are some bloatware on the phone provided by sony but there are no options to uninstall them.
2. While on call nothing else works the soft keys gets disabled, you can’t type a msg the keyboard doesn’t come up. This was how it was in my Z as well. In the forum some people mentioned that it got resolved in the 4.3 update, however i don’t think it is yet.
While I am under a phone call if I want to search the browser or sending a text message the keyboard will be unavailable so do the back button will become unavailable...

View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently I frequently receive the notification "Restricted access changed" along with "Voice call service blocked". I really don't know what cause such notifications and it is very annoying.
Moreover, when such notifications are received, the signal drops off at the same time. I can't make any phone call or receive any call.
I did update the firmware to 4.4, but the problem still exists.
Just had a new issue with charging, had the update last night and when I am charging it today it continuously pops up battery low whilst on charge, I checked charger on my old HTC and all OK but keeps waking the Z5P every 10 or so seconds....

I was asleep on 4 of these occasions and was definately not using my phone on the others. I have never called a south korean number. I have and have since I got the phone barred outgoing international calls in the settings menu but my phone still makes these calls.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI don't know why apple decided that you didn't need access to your call log while on a phone call. When I'm on the phone with someone I like to send emails and texts to others and being able to get to the call log or favorites list is the quick way to get access to the people I talk to the most. As of now I have to go to the contacts list which takes longer and inconvient. Also if someone calls while I'm on the phone if I don't check the caller ID right then to see who is calling I will miss the person and I won't know who called until I get off the phone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHTC One. I turned it off last night for a movie and turned it back on a couple hours later -- only to find I could not access my keyboard in text or email. Whenever I try to send a text the "tap to speak" voice input option is all that comes up. I can't seem to access the keyboard by tapping the "keyboard" icon to the left of the mic. I tried disabling Google Voice Input but can't seem to make that work.
I have SwiftKey installed as the keyboard and turning it on or off doesn't seem to work. I used an iPhone for three years and never had problems like this... I was so excited to switch to an android but am slowly regretting my decision, because now I more or less cannot use my smartphone without my keyboard
I have recently acquiredthe 5230 and cannot access the virtual keyboard from the keyboard icon in messaging I only get the handwriting /alphanumeric option to choose when the keyboard icon is touched. I don't to have a "text input" option in "settings" as I have seen this suggested in other answers to keyboard problems but these were for differnt phones.Appreciate any advice.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI restarted my phone and it is on the lock screen with a 4 digit pin to unlock it, the problem is that has switched the default keyboard to the voice keyboard (I think it's called Google Now).
I can't access settings or the app drawer. Restarting it the phone still needs the pin. I have 'said' the pin, 'said' it followed by 'enter' or 'return' but it's not working.
The phone also turned off my ringer for some reason when it restarted ....

Whereas in the past (like even early this afternoon) I would be able to see emails or texts - or if no email or texts it would say 'No messages' - I cannot open either emails or text and therefore cannot create, read, or anything else. The scroll button is inop after clicking on email or text and I must it the exit button to regain control of the scroll button.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a BlackBerry 9700. Yesterday the keyboard became really weird. It strted pressing u even if i was pressing something else. Also if i pressed q,e or some other letters it would close the text message I was writing. Also if i pressed spacebar, it would keep going till i pressed something else (same with backspace). the buttons either side of the trackpad (back, menu, ring, hang up buttons) keep flashing , like blinking on and off and the trackpad isnt working amazingly. whenever there is call keep on rejecting.
