Jun 25, 2012To find the real SI number, first, you download to your phone the application "function tester" by sony,then you open it and you go to "phone facts" you will see the "application software ID" there is your SI number. Mine is1249-7702.

All I want to know is exactly which screen I enter an address in to find my way there traveling by car. After the V2 upgrade taking so long, and still no manual exposure, I find it highly unlikely we will ever get manual exposure settings on the Sony Xperia series. I will sell my Xperia Z5 premium and get myself an LG G4.

Jul 3, 2010The Superior Auto/Manual camera app is not loading, and becomes unresponsive. Here's a screen shot when opening the camera app:
Diagnostic reports the camera as fine, is able to take photos with flash. Other modes such as 'Background Defocus' etc are running fine, as is instagram etc. I tried switching from 'Defocus Background' to Superior Auto/Manual/4k Video etc and the app becomes unresponsive again as above.
I've cleared app data and caches for the 'Camera' and 'Cameras' in app settings. Tested in Safe Mode, and have just done a factory rest of my Z2 which has not resolved the issue.

Jul 3, 2010I'm positive this has been brought up before, the camera button is only able to load up in auto superior mode which is great for basic quick camera needs but for users who want to use the camera to its full potential (20.7 MP) you need to shoot in manual mode. It seems like a simple addition to the camera which would allow everyone to use the camera app how they prefer. Is there a fix coming for this, is there a setting I'm missing? Seems silly to put a good camera in a phone and have it so inaccessible.

HOW TO REPRODUCE: Open Contacts AppClick on search icon (magnifiying glass)Soft keyboard opens -> start typing contact nameClick on contact name in the filtered listÂ
EXPECTED RESULTS: Upon clicking on the contact name in the filtered list, the soft keyboard should automatically close and the contact's info page should open.

I'M SEEING INSTEAD: Upon clicking the contact name in the filtered list, the contact's info page is opening, but the soft keyboard is also staying open covering up the contact's info page.Â

WORKAROUND: The only workaround I can see for now is to hit the soft "back" button (which appears as a "down" button when the keyboard is open) to close the soft keyboard before actually selecting the contact from the list. Then select the contact from the list.
If you select the contact before hitting the "back" (or "down") button, and try hitting the "back" (or "down") button with the contact page already opened, instead of closing the keyboard it will close the contacts page and the keyboard will stay open (unless you close the keyboard first, you'll be stuck in an infinite loop of selecting and closing the contact, and the keyboard would be open the whole time).
