Samsung Galaxy S II :: User Manual And Quick Start Guide PDF Downloads?
May 4, 2011
Here they are, the Galaxy S II User manual and quick start guides from the Samsung's website. Might come in handy for some. Or those of us that loose the originals etc
Does anyone know of a service manual or guide to replace the LCD screen on a Samsung SCH-U640? I cannot seem to figure out how to disassemble the display portion. Also, any parts source would be helpful as well.
Bought a Nokia N97 Mini Gold Edition yesterday. There is no user guide in Arabic in the box. Come on seriously guys. You are selling a product in the middle east and the least you can do is provide an arabic guide along with it. Called up Nokia care, they ask you to call Axiom, call Axiom and they ask you to call Nokia. Gave up the hope. Tried to get a user guide from the Nokia support website. Go to http://www.nokia.ae/support-en/support-en/n97-mini/guides and select Arabic and the page comes back with an HTTP 404 Not Found.
Imagine buying a phone worth 2500 AED and you don't have a user guide to go with that. Imagine calling up Axiom and Nokia care line just to hear that there is no guide provided in Arabic with the phone. Imagine you feel like an idiot buying something that does not make you happy. Now imagine if that someone were to be you.
All of these new features are great but does anyone know where to find a User Guide to show how to engage/use them? Not even Apple.com has anything listed.I stumbled on how to create folders in another thread. It would be nice if all of the info was in a doc somewhere - it'd be a timesaver for me (and I can't be the only one.
in my Nokia E7 (upgraded to Belle) display, there is an indicator like the one in the attached file. What is its meaning? (I can't find it in the user guide).
I upgraded successfully to Android 2.1 but in the process lost the User Guide on the phone. The instructions on the website doesn't seem to work. how to re-install the User Guide on the handset?
I recently updated my phone as prompted by my phone, I followed all the back-up/restore directions but when I click on 'User Guide' the message I get is "Cannot find User guide on memory card. The memory card has been removed or the files have been deleted. Is there a way to get it back?
Just recently purchased a E71 phone and have downloaded the Ovi maps and for some reason I can not find anywhere on the net basic user instructions or a manual of any kind to show how to use the thing. All I want to know is exactly which screen I enter an address in to find my way there traveling by car. I assume this is what the Ovi maps are for however I am having a lot of difficulty getting it to work.
I have got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and got a Galaxy S2 to go with it.I have set up (using the supplied "email" app BOTH bits of kit to download my emails....however...on the Samsung tablet when I open the 'email' app it does nothing until I go to 'refresh' - then it downloads any new emails. When I open the app on the PHONE, however, it just clears off and downloads emails...wherever I happen to be.How do I tell the phone to NOT use up my data allowance, and let me tell IT when I want to do a download?
I often download images from the internet on my phone. I use them for making contact pictures, schoolwork,or even to just to enjoy images as backgrounds on my phone. However my phone is no longer allowing me to download anything! I do what I have always done, I hold down on the image until my phone asks if I want to save it,I hit save, and it says the image is downloading. But when I go to my downloads it says image has failed to download...
I thought maybe it was just from a certain site that my images wouldn't download. But every site I go to the download is failing. Then I thought perhaps somehow I used up my memory. But I have lots of memory left. I tried the simple method of rebooting my phone, and that too has not worked.I don't know what else to do!
I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 a week ago. Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.
As a novice SG S2 owner I would be grateful for the opinions of more experienced SG S2 users as to what the battery life should be for someone who's a low user of the phone and its applications?
For example how long should a full battery charge last for someone who makes very few calls and receives very few calls per day sends less than 10 texts per day and receives less than 10 texts per day, plays no games and surfs the internet very infrequently and plays music very infrequently? In other words the phone spends more time on standby than it does in actual operation.
The phone says you can configure email for most accounts in a few steps . So I typed my user name and password and this is what I get Setup Could Not Finish, Incorrect username or passord. I tried this tons of times, I am entering it all correct.
I've just been reading in Android Magazine (a very good read) that I can edit my User Dictionary by going to:
Menu | Settings | Language & Keyboard | User Dictionary.
Except I can't as "User Dictionary" does not appear under "Language & Keyboard". I presume Samsung have moved it somewhere else. Does anyone know where?
I initially tried to flash the Lite'ning ROM but then I got the issue where there is a boot loop with the (S) screen. Afterwards I tried following the instructions on this thread: [URL]
After this, my phone doesn't even go past the Samsung Galaxy S II screen (black and white) and just freezes there. The only way I can turn it off is to remove the battery pack. Fortunately I can still access recovery and download mode. I've tried redoing the instructions on the thread i mentioned several times and still no go. I have no idea what to do right now.
The E7 is excellent, ignore the rubbish reviews say. However, when i use the BBC iplayer and download a programme it starts and after about 5 minutes or 50MB it freezes and the phone crashes.Tried to run it through Opera and got the message not available for your phone. So stuck with the native browser. Tried to reinstall from the BBC and told not available for my phone.
when i start the phone from turned off the start up music plays continuously until you make a call. why? how do i stop it and can i tun it off anyway? cheers rob
just updated to ICS via Kies, (O2), but now I cannot see my phone on my PC.Getting the above error in device manager. I have re-installed the drivers twice?
I have discovered that post lollipop software update (not to android 5 but the update to it) the start up chime is now linked to the media volume and not the system volume.
This means that if I'm listening to music or watching a movie and leave the media volume up, the chime will play - incredibly annoying considering the system is on silent.
I have got a samsung Galaxy Lite (aka Spica)... i was trying to upgrade it but it died and now doesnt start up! I can't acces to recovery/download mode it just stays off! i'f i plug in USB it starts charging but nothing more...
I used the application Quick Pull to have a bigger space for free memory but as I do it I noticed my phone won't start completely, it's stuck at the blackscreen. I tried removing the battery but it's the same. What should I do?
I have a S2 with 2.3.3 installed. I did upgrade previously using Kies. I now want to connect the phone to Kies, but it does not work properly.I connect the phone to the PC and it is detected by Windows. I can even browse the files in Windows Explorer. When I start Kies, it just says "Connecting..." but fails after a while with error "Can not start service on device". The phone screens shows that I am connected to Kies.
