Xperia Z3 :: Removing Data From SD Card With Guest User
Aug 19, 2015
I recently use a SD card in my  Xperia Z3 Dual and then send all media files ( images, movie , music ,...) to sd card . So i define a Guest user in my device for my kid, i see that guest user can delete stored files in sd card.Is this my device defect or it is from Lollipop fault .Is the privacy note and aspects didn't consider for ability of definition several users in Lollipop.
My iPhone5c failed and apple gave me a new one, so I followed the instructions and clicked 'restore and update' Amy's iPhone in iTunes, only after it went through the motions it is now calling the new phone 'Guest users phone' so I obviously did something wrong as none of my contacts photos etc are available.Â
Why couldn't it just have done what I wanted it to do..is there a way I can get back to the backup of my old phone?Â
Motorola Left Out Guest Mode and Multi-User Support in Your DROID Turbo’s Lollipop Update...With Android 5.0, Google introduced support for guest accounts and additional users on phones. When Google pushed Android 5.1 a few months after 5.0, they didn’t remove the feature. Although, if you are a DROID Turbo owner who recently updated to Android 5.1 (it’s rolling out now to all by the way), you are probably wondering where it is.
I recently updated my phone as prompted by my phone, I followed all the back-up/restore directions but when I click on 'User Guide' the message I get is "Cannot find User guide on memory card. The memory card has been removed or the files have been deleted. Is there a way to get it back?
In lollipop, I see the option for creating guest account. During phone is locked with pattern or pin, anybody can just pull down the notification bar and create a guest a account and access my all personal files with file manager with guest account. So I want to avoid this. How can do that nobody can create guest account while my phone is locked.
My Wife's Blackberry Bold has died with a App Error 606 Is there a way to recover from this error and get the device working again WITHOUT wiping user data? We've got some precious photos in this device and don't want to lose them.

The power button seems to do nothing. When plugged in it will show a white screen with nokia logo and show that the battery is charging but it will still not turn on. Tried removing sim and/or SD card and using a different battery but that didn't work as well.Does anyone else have this problem and do you know how I could fix this?
I've reseted the data of my phone recently and I've backed it up in my sd card but I don't know how to restore the data found in the sd card to my phone, how do I do this?I need my contacts and messages
Dropped the X8 and killed all but a postage stamp in the left hand corner of the screen.Stupidly no backups or syncs of my contacts anywhere. The sim phonebooks ok but will not show the data correctly on the borrowed samsung.
I would like to transfer the Sim data to the Sd card in the x8.The touchscreen still works even though I can't see much info,I can open phonebook.then in menu i see bottom three buttons as imp/ send/? there appears to be at least one above these.
I assumed imp to be the import button if I continue by selecting this I get a couple of buttons.export to / export to and I presume the bottom grey one to be cancel. However there at least one above these I cannot see. Perhaps someone could let me know the layout of these screen and which is the export to sd button.
Just a few minutes ago, my phone alerted me to have my files (photos and videos) to be transferred to my SD card. I did clicked it I thought everything would be alright. But then upon transferring my datas all the dates and times of the photos are all messed up  I'm not sure what happened there, but I was confident that this wont be mixed up or something.
I own a Xperia Z3.  I installed a 32Gb micro SD.  Everytime I transfer data (music or photo) on the card, it become corrupted. There is no problem with everything that stay on the internal memory.  The problem is present if I transfer through the phone or through the PC app.  I first tought the card was the problem. I tried it on the PC, I tested it with an app on the PC: the card is fine with no error. I also tried 2 other cards, they all do the same.Â
Don't fall in this trap and let the phone move data from internal memory to SD card to free up space as it can be interrupted for some unkown reasons and end up losing your data. ( Interruption in my case was screen auto lock i believe )It happened to me yesterday when it was moving the pictures and all of them are gone now.
I contact the customer care and they said to format the SD card What i found that the capacity of SD card increased and a folder called LOST.DIR was shown there..
I just bought a used iphone 4 and have a iphone3 want to take out sim card and put into iphone 4 but worry if will lose some photos and addresses What can i do?
When I bought my Xperia Neo, I received a free 8gb micro SD-card from class 2. I wanted a faster one and a bigger one to fullfill my new preferences. I bought a Transcend 16gb micro SD-card class 6.
1) Is this compatible with my Sony Ericsson smartphone?
2) How do I transfer all my data from my current SD-card to the new one without losing my installed apps, pictures and other stuff that's installed on.
I am using sony xperia ray, Now i am changing new memory card , before that i have lot of application installed in the memory card... so i want ot backup all data from the memory card.
My internal memory is about 75% full so I bought a 32GB SD card. Â When I go to Settings -> Storage -> Transfer data to SD card nothing happens at all. Â No error message, dialog or notification appears. Â I have seen what is supposed to happen form instructional videos. Â I can see the SD card is present in the storage menu with approx 29GB free, and I can view the card in ES File Explorer.
Ive had my z2 for a day and my memory is at 75%. I've managed to transfer my photos and videos to the sd card but it won't let me transfer my music. It says "transfer interrupted. Check sd card for possibly transfered data"...
Only after the action did i remember that i had my bank details on their in the blackberry app store. i went round to delete the info and it wasnt simple. after reading the forums and seeing how to erase the info i am concerned about the message underneath the erase option which states you will not be able to email etc. from this device again.Does this mean until she creates a new blackberry ID for herself ?
I was trying to create a second user account on my LG G3 and the setup process proceeded as expected and the second user was created. However, once I switched back to my main 'Owner' account, I found that my phone was no longer able to launch the apps which I had saved on my SD - my SD was loaded and I could read files and photos stored on it, but I was unable to launch the apps transferred to it from the internal memory. I had to delete the second user account in order to return full access to my SD.
When I try to write some data to my SD Card (with an phone internal app, or with phone connected to my USB port) the data get corrupted. I'm running android 2.1, the SD card was tested separately on my computer and works fine !
I did accidentaly format my SD card in my new X8.There were some quite nice ringtones preinstalled. How can I get/download from somewhere , all data that was preinstalled (pictures , ringtones etc.)
Currently touring overseas and internal memory was getting filled with media, transferred to SD card but found an empty folder after completion. Is there any way to find the lost media or reattain them? I really hope there's a solution as I lost quite a few hundreds of photos...
