Basically, my phone asked me to reset up (do not know why?) and I pressed 02 Pay Monthly by mistake, I meant to press 02 Pay as you go. And now, I can not access the internet on my phone unless using wifi, even then can't use a few apps such as faceback app. Anyone know how to change this?

Its only my line since Im on a family plan so I would have to get my own service and was wondering does anyone have the basic service? I would get the $40 voice plan, $15 data, and $5 texting so thats $60 but after taxes does anyone know how much that is? My dad would also get 25% off the plan for working at the post office so does anyone know if that is before or after the taxes?
View 17 Replies View RelatedI'm still on 3G on 3.1.2 with BenM.at AT&T profile, so i can tether. My question is would it be possible to upgrade/unlock to iPhone 4.0 and then able to tether without having to pay extra to AT&T by installing old fashion way? (3.0 to 3.1.3).
i don't tether often, but it comes in handy every now and then like when you go on a vacation, etc. i also noticed with 4.0, the T-mobile users are using cydia to get MMS/Tethering work for them. any chance that will work will AT&T too? and YES i know about MyWi, but im trying to avoid the $20 fee =/ and I've also read that you can download the MyWi and deleting trick, but that would require you to download MyWi again every now and then i believe.
I've just purchased my first iPhone - a lightly used 3G. I'm looking at data plans. For $52 plus tax, Telus is offering me:

- free weekends/evenings after 5pm

- 30 texts per month
I'm wondering a) if this sounds reasonable, and b) how much other iPhone users are paying for their plans.

But I was browsing around AT&T's site and it seems you need to pay $30 for each iPhone's data plan on a family plan. Basically, if I wanted 3 iPhones in one family plan, then I would have to pay $90 a month for the data plan for all 3. Is this true?

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy Nexus 5 is rooted and in the past OTA updates have always worked just fine. I don't use a custom recovery. However, the November Android security update fails. I was thinking this was because BBS was installed as a system app. After uninstalling that it still doesn't work. The only other thing I use is Adaway, so I reverted back to the original hostfile and also uninstalled BusyBox. Still no dice. Or is it perhaps Marshmallow OTA updates simply won't work if the phone is rooted? How come in the past I've been able to do OTA updates with my phone being rooted?
What can I do to get the update? Does that mean I have to basically lose my user data every month to do an OTA update now and reroot my device
What credit care info do I need to have? Does it have to match the credit card that pays the monthly bill?

I was not able to open the SMS by tapping on the envelope icon on the notification, however I am able to clear it from the notification. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an X8 with the 2.1 Android update, I have noticed that if I try to download something using my wi-fi internet while the phone is connected to the PC then the download gets stuck, any further downloads also dont progress and it is not possible to even cancel the downloads in such a case. Only solution I have found is doing a factory reset. But I am afraid it might happen again, if I download apps while the phone is connected and I dont want to have to reset it again.

I have tried more than 4 times with different PCs to repair the phone with PCC but anytime i try i get an error message shown below.I dont know why it has to be like this, because this is not my first time repairing my x8 and even though sometimes i do get an error message but when i try for the second time it works.My Phone is not "Dead" and i seriously need help. I was thinking, maybe this error is because of my internet connection or my pc, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhile attempting to update to 2.1 through SEUS, the installation failed, telling me that my battery was too low. The phone is now stuck in flash mode, the SE logo flashes for a brief moment, then I am met by a screen with a phone and an Exclamation Point in a triangle for awhile, then the phone restarts and does it again.
I have obviously tried removing the battery and trying again. SEUS has the same result every time I attempt this. I have also installed PC Companion, and one of two things happen 1) PC Companion completely hangs my Win7 (32bit) machine, or 2) Prepares to repair the phone, and while 'preparing', an error pops up and directs me to the webpage.
I woke up this morning to find that my phone had restarted itself over night, Thought nothing of it until 15 mins later I came back to it and it was still stuck in start up on the waves. It wont turn off or do anything when any of the buttons are pressed. The notification light is orange (dont know if that means anything).
I have since unplugged it and I am leaving to drain the battery hopefully that will do something...
My Z3 will not come out of airplane mode. Tried every thing including a complete reset to basics.
