Dec 22, 2012When I try to turn it on, it vibrates, shows the Sony Ericsson logo and gets stuck there. Sometimes it won't even turn on.

The first update was O.K., but during the second one maybe I did something wrong and now the phone does not start. Aug 8, 2011Here's my probelem and as i have read around the problem never has been helped out. Oke after i have flashed my phone from 1.6 to 2.1 i never had any problems. but when i updated my phone from 2.1 using PC Companion to 2.3.3. the phone just died. It keeps hagging in flash mode and after like 10 sec it vibrates and won't stop until the bat is dead. What i have done: I have tried to flashing it using the flash tools with many firmwares nothing worked, then i have used the SEUS repair function but when i use that it only wants to flash it to 2.3.3 and doesn't repair it, unless the repair is only reflashing and without whipe user data then it didn't work. Oke anyone with ideas? There are like 3 other people with the same problem and i think we all have an X10i So? The unbrickable phone has a weakness...

Sep 26, 2012My partner's Xperia Play decided not to boot this morning. (It was fine at 7.30 but by 8.30 it was dead). On pressing the power button, it vibrates for a few seconds but does not show any other sign of booting. He has tried removing the battery to boot it but to no avail. When he plugged it into his laptop, the machine failed to recognise the device. It just continuously made the device connect then device disconnect sounds. The laptop is only a couple of weeks old so I highly doubt that it's an issue with the USB ports. It does not detect the phone long enough to perform an update. Is it possible that the USB cable is faulty, or the USB port on the phone? Or could it be a compatibility issue with the laptop?

And now, I can not access the internet on my phone unless using wifi, even then can't use a few apps such as faceback app. Anyone know how to change this?

Aug 23, 2010So i came home yesterday, Sent a text to my friend to log in to play some Cod with me.. I left my phone next to my bed,On a table.. I come back about 3-4 hours later the phone is dead, I figured i needed to charge the battery.. Put the charger in and went back to the computer, Came back another 2-3 hours later and still nothing.. It only vibrates when i try to boot it, I tried a hard reset Green/Red/Camera/Power key, But it doesnt work.. The phone just vibrates at the beginning, then it keeps vibrating with a 3-5 seconds interval between them..
I've removed the memory card and the sim card, Still doesnt boot up..
I've removed the battery and had it out for 5-10 mins, Still wont boot
And i think it's the newest firmware version..Its my dads phone,My 5800 broke a few weeks back..
I've tried with a different battery, Didn't fix it
Is there anyway to fix it or do i need to turn it in for repairs?

Mar 12, 2012when I plug my phone in at night or charge it, it will not ring it only vibrates if someone calls or texts me it will only vibrate. I have checked the slider button on the side its not stuck on anything like that, the sound settings are fine i have a ringtone for both calls and texts. I have called apple and they suggested to do a back up and restore which i have done that and the phone will ring with a call but not a text so i'm still having the same problem.? My husband has the same problem & we got the phones at the same time, ( we thought it was a setting and we weren't familar with them yet) I have looked online and havent managed to find a resolution to this issue yet.
