Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Install USB Drivers For X10 In Windows 7 64-bit?

I downloaded the X10 Mini drivers to be able to debug using the Netbeans Android SDK addon. Now, how do I install them? I have the sa0101usb.inf file (and all the rest in the SEMC_Signed folder). I right-click and click Install, but I get the following error: "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". I have also tried "upgrading the driver" of "PHONE CARD" under "Portable Devices" in the Device Manager, but the driver does not seem compatible with the device (according to Windows).

I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.

Windows doesn't have the driver for the USB cable for the X6 i'm using Windows XP Home Service Pack 2, when i plugged the phone in, it searched for the drivers but said, windows can't find the drivers bla bla bla, any idea's on how to solve this issue, or where i can Download the drivers?
I'm using bluetooth for everything but i need the bloody USB cable for software updating....

When I check Device Manager, I keep getting "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and the device is a "RM-821|Nokia Lumia 920". I have restarted both Phone and laptop several times. I did connect successfully to my HTC Radar. I don't even get the "Charging" symbol on my Lumia. Connecting My Lumia to another laptop running Windows 8 works just fine. How can I install the correct driver, and from where to I get it? I expected to get it from Windows Update as it should "just works".

Yesterday I installed windows 8 Professional X64, but now I'm not able to connect my Htc Wildfire S to my PC. HTC Sync ( v3.2.20 ) says "No device connected" I guess thats because I'm missing the Android Phone drivers. In device manager there is two devices without driver: Android Phone and RNDIS ( USB Tethering ) Device manager is not finding any driver for my phone when I press update driver. I have also installed latest version of Googles SDK manager and installed EXTRAS // Google usb driver package which didn't solve this problem either... Referring to googles help docs ( OEM USB Drivers | Android Developers ) I should download OEM driver from HTC site but there ain't any..

I previously had My Satio drivers along with the latest version of PC Suite installed and working just fine with the 32-bit version of Windows 7. But now when I use the 64-bit version the application installs all the drivers and even loads. However, when I connect my Satio via USB, it gives driver error (unrecognized). It seems SE didn't provide support for the 64-bit version OS.

Just to be more specific, the phones charges, but if I want to use it as media device, I'm told you have to unlock it, fine, but when I finally get to see my storage on my PC screen, after a couple seconds it disconnects, meaning I don't see it anymore, anywhere on my PC, but phone still charges.
Couple of seconds afterwards, back up again..as you imagine, backing up photos/videos is impossible, I don't have the time to transfer huge amount of data before I'm prompt with a message telling me it has been cancelling due to not finding the file anymore..

I earlier used Sony Ericsson W810i phone. That phone had a Sinc. software to sincronize with your computer. Therefore my contacts were there firmly on my computer. Recently I purchased a Xperia X10 mini pro. When I tried to sincronize using the website, my phone contacts all went disorgarganised and certain things were deleted. Purchased the Xperia Mini Pro today, eager to get to grips but as soon as i'd done the basic settings i'm told there is a new software update. After recently upgrading from the X10 Mini Pro, i am well aware on how to update the software using PC Companion.However, this update is proving difficult. Once i follow the steps provided and get to the 'Phone Software Update' window, with the four steps (Start, Prepare, Update, Finish) I'm stranded at step 2. The whole 'unplug the USB from the phone and computer' steps are proving useless, nothing is happening. I've tried seven times with intervals, and many reboots of my phone, none of which have proved successful. Anyone able to tell me what i may be doing wrong or is there a current problem installing the software for everyone?
