I'm trying to install the new Gingerbread 3.0 on my phone and whenever I get to the part on PC Companion where it says to hold the back button as i re-connect my USB it does absolutely nothing once I re-connect it.

My Xperia Mini ST 15i, has become sluggish after ICS upgrade. It takes a while before the dialier appears, and games like Temple Run are now erratic. Plus the battery drains like anything. Is there a fix, or is it better to revert back to Gingerbread; or Gellybean is gonna come soon?
My SI No. is listed in the site and I got the update notification also. But when I try to update using PC Companion, am getting the below error message.
I have a Atrix Gingerbread phone and before I updated it was rooted. When updated it broke the root and left residual programs from rooting on my phone. Is there a way to do a complete fresh install of Gingerbread on my phone. I am not talking about a hard factory reset. I want to wipe it completely then reinstall it.

Purchased the Xperia Mini Pro today, eager to get to grips but as soon as i'd done the basic settings i'm told there is a new software update. After recently upgrading from the X10 Mini Pro, i am well aware on how to update the software using PC Companion. However, this update is proving difficult. Once i follow the steps provided and get to the 'Phone Software Update' window, with the four steps (Start, Prepare, Update, Finish) I'm stranded at step 2. The whole 'unplug the USB from the phone and computer' steps are proving useless, nothing is happening. I've tried seven times with intervals, and many reboots of my phone, none of which have proved successful. Anyone able to tell me what i may be doing wrong or is there a current problem installing the software for everyone?
I have just formatted my laptop and installed win-7 64 bit , Now I want to install PC Companion on it what I should do for it. I have ICS in my mobile.

I should say my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17i is awesom(except for the battery life)..Now i want something regarding my internal memory..Whenever i installed apps, it is installed into the Internal Memory by default..Although i can move some of the apps into SD Card, most of the apps are **** Stubborn.I even tried apps2SD, which doesn't quite answer my need...What i want is how to store in SD Card by default for all Apps...Is there any hack(maybe without rooting) for this.
I downloaded the X10 Mini drivers to be able to debug using the Netbeans Android SDK addon. Now, how do I install them? I have the sa0101usb.inf file (and all the rest in the SEMC_Signed folder). I right-click and click Install, but I get the following error: "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". I have also tried "upgrading the driver" of "PHONE CARD" under "Portable Devices" in the Device Manager, but the driver does not seem compatible with the device (according to Windows).
I've bought this phone sim free in the UK so I can use it with a Thai sim card when I'm travelling in Thailand but would like to install Thai language so that I can SMS my local friends in their native language.
I'm new to xperia x10 mini pro, I've had quite a tough time getting some things done easily, all sofware I've downloaded have been installed on the phones memory, and the phones memory is full. I've updated my Xperia mini pro to ICS 4.0.4 Build 4.1.B.431 a few weeks ago. I just noticed that I can't find the checkbox to allow me install programs from unknown sources/not directly from market. When it was still Gingerbread, I can access the checkbox from Setting > Application. how can I access this checkbox in ICS?
through adb i read the message "E/vending(1428): [23] AsynchRequestRunner$1.run(): Got auth failure from server -> invalidating auth tokens." Is there any way to fix it without have to factory reset the device? I don't want to loose all contacts media and applications i loaded on phone.
