I have installedMotorola 5.2.0 Driver with MotoHelper but I still can't get my computers to recognize the device. Always says Unknown Device when i connect it.
View 15 RepliesWhen I check Device Manager, I keep getting "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and the device is a "RM-821|Nokia Lumia 920". I have restarted both Phone and laptop several times. I did connect successfully to my HTC Radar. I don't even get the "Charging" symbol on my Lumia. Connecting My Lumia to another laptop running Windows 8 works just fine. How can I install the correct driver, and from where to I get it? I expected to get it from Windows Update as it should "just works".

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my 6P to my desktop, it installs the drivers, but it won't show up on my computer. I can't access any of the data. It charges but no actual transfer. I have changed the setting to MTP, tried installing new drivers, Android Debugging toggled (adb push works oddly enough), installing Google drivers, but nothing seems to work!
Also to note: My brother's Nexus 6 won't connect, and neither will my other brother's OnePlus One. It makes me think it has something to do with standard Android devices?
I'm on Windows 8.1 FYI.
Is there anyone out there that can help with this? I have only had my phone for about 40 days (10 days past Radio Shack's return policy, unfortunately), and beginning 3 or 4 days ago my phone stopped consistently charging. I would put it on the charger and it would look like it is working for a few minutes, then simply stop charging. I have tried 3 different chargers with the same results-- one with a USB connection to my computer, one in my car, and one plugged into a wall.I already exchanged this Triumph once because of serious software glitches including a keyboard that wouldn't always type. I am starting to feel like perhaps this isn't the phone for me, but it feels terrible to feel like I have been cheated $300 for a phone that doesn't want to work.
View 7 Replies View RelatedBesides us waiting for some sign of a software update to address the issues with our Motoroloa Triumph, does anyone else find it curious how difficult it is to find the accessories for the Triumph? I mean, it's impossible to find something by going to the Motorola Store for the phone. However, if you circumnavigate the site and search on all Android Phones, and find the one phone for Virgin Mobile (by carrier), then find the teeny tiny link for Accessories, one does determine there is a BT headset and also a car charger. But wait, the car charger isn't even available yet.
It's not good commentary that there isn't Motorola badged batteries and car chargers and earbuds, Micro HDMI to HDMI cables, USB charging cables available for the product from Motorola, when clearly, this stuff is available on eBay. And I've recently purchased a very good OEM Motorola Charger and USB charging cables... so the question becomes, where is Motorola's support for the phone? I propose someone feedback to Motorola that besides waiting for needed SW updates, we could use a little product support in the way of accessories.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am running windows 7 starter. I update my device so installed kies and update, got interrupted somehow and soft bricked. Sent it off to samsung who told me to just be careful when using kies. Tried then to install software using odin and it is bricked again!rom numerous conversations with a fellow giffgaffer have determined that it is a driver problem. Apparently I should have 'samsung composite device (abd) listed and I don't. I plug it in my netbook and some times I get 'samsung composite device' (no abd) and when I go into device manager it always has a yellow triangle next to it.
Most of the time I get 'unknown device' or 'gadget serial' in manager and when I try and update drivers it says they are up to date, manually I can find samsung composite usb driver and then I get one of two things 'software found but could not install' (error 10) or 'windows stopped the device working' (error 43.) have tried installing kies, uninstalling kies, installing samsung device driver for mobile phones. Nothing has worked. I have exactly the same results on my desktop pc, running 7 home premium so I don't think it is a usb port problem.
Windows doesn't have the driver for the USB cable for the X6 i'm using Windows XP Home Service Pack 2, when i plugged the phone in, it searched for the drivers but said, windows can't find the drivers bla bla bla, any idea's on how to solve this issue, or where i can Download the drivers?

I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.

I have the sa0101usb.inf file (and all the rest in the SEMC_Signed folder). I right-click and click Install, but I get the following error: "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". I have also tried "upgrading the driver" of "PHONE CARD" under "Portable Devices" in the Device Manager, but the driver does not seem compatible with the device (according to Windows).

HTC Sync ( v3.2.20 ) says "No device connected" I guess thats because I'm missing the Android Phone drivers. But now when I use the 64-bit version the application installs all the drivers and even loads. However, when I connect my Satio via USB, it gives driver error (unrecognized). It seems SE didn't provide support for the 64-bit version OS.

Couple of seconds afterwards, back up again..as you imagine, backing up photos/videos is impossible, I don't have the time to transfer huge amount of data before I'm prompt with a message telling me it has been cancelling due to not finding the file anymore..

WiFi works fine, and I am able to place/receive calls and send/receive texts. Bluetooth also works. I have no other issues with the phone, it's just the 3G data. Is it defective or is there a way to fix it

Does anyone know of any reason that the Triumph isn't seeing the songs?I installed Winamp, but it must be drawing the songs the same way since it's listing the exact same songs. If I browse the files using a program like Adao File Manager, it sees them fine.

If I turn the phone off, the notification goes away for a bit, but still comes back after about an hour. I did try "Factory Data reset" under the privacy settings, but that did not make a difference.
I have been following this community since I bought my Triumph 2+ months ago. I am generally happy with the phone, although I am annoyed by the intermittent lack of responsiveness from the touchscreen and the GPS issues. I cannot believe that there are actually Motorola and VM employees who are saying that they are not aware of any issues with the phone - and they say this in the context of forums like this that are FULL of people reporting issues with the phone. I am extremely disappointed with both companies for refusing to either acknowledge that they are working on a fix (or Gingerbread upgrade) or announce that there will be no fix/upgrade. Matt, the Forums Manager, posted the following on the Droid Bionic forum yesterday:
"I know everyone is eager for updated software. We have been working diligently on a software update for DROID BIONIC and have a version in the testing stage; we expect to deliver it to users in 30 to 60 days. The update is targeting issues identified through owner feedback and we're confident it will improve device performance."
Why can't we get an answer one way or the other as to whether there will be a fix or an upgrade for the Triumph? I think a lot of us would be happy with a simple acknowledgement that it is coming, even if the timeframe is still unknown. If it has been decided that there will be no fix or upgrade, then we would like to know that. Triumph users are entitled to the same treatment as the Droid Bionic users, and we have been waiting longer.
I purchased a Motorola Triumph from the virgin mobile promotion the other day and it arrived this morning. Unfortunately, I'm enrolled in a contract with tmobile that'll last another year before I can switch over so I'l have to wait before switching over to virgin mobile's plan. So the plan is to use my prior phone for 'phone stuff' and the triumph as a temporary ipod touch. So I spent a few hours experimenting with the wi-fi and it worked fine. But it was when I plugged it into my laptop with the usb provided, that problems started to arise

View 11 Replies View RelatedI've gone through a couple phones now, but I am still having this problem with the Triumph. Periodically, when the phone goes into sleep mode, it will not come out when pressing the power button. I have to take the battery out and replace it to get it to function correctly again. After experimenting with it a bit, it seems to only occur when I have Wifi enabled. When Wifi is off the phone seems to function in and out of sleep mode correctly. Anyone else experience this and/or have a fix for it(beside keeping Wifi disabled)?
I have also experienced some of the same issues that others have addressed on this site (random rebooting, slow GPS), but my Wifi sleep mode problem gives me the biggest headache.
When I try to use a voice command application such as Google's Voice Search or Vlingo the phones microphone is disabled. Both applications run an animation that lets you know that the phone is "hearing". I receive no indication that the mic is active. However, if I plug my (Non-Mic) headphones into the Triumphs jack the voice recognition comes alive. This lasts for one command though. If I try to voice a second command I again get no response. At this point pulling the headphones out of the jack again activates the voice application for one command.
