Nokia :: N73 - Need Drivers To Sync With Windows Media Player 12
Jun 19, 2010
I need the driver for 'n73 music edition' to sync with 'windows media player 12' (pc operating system windows 7). I have installed the latest version of 'nokia pc suite' and 'nokia ovi suite' in my computer.
After being a huge advocate for Windows Phone I'm just about done with it after moving from WP7.5 and Zune to WP8.I can't sync anything using Windows Media Player. I put stuff in the sync list and it looks like it syncs then I check the sync status and everything has "error" in the status and nothing has copied. Doesn't matter if it's songs I own or subscription - nothing syncs through media player. I think I did get it to sync to my wife's 620.
According to MSFT this will not let me sync Zune subscription which is another issue I have - and the biggest issue is that I can't sync playlists period. They show up with 0 songs when I sync using the Windows Phone App. But I was hoping using Media Player might solve that but it's not working.I'm using WIndows 7 on my PC. I'm a long time Zune user/promoter. Right now I can't get music on my phone in any reasonable fashion.
I have had my Droid X for about 6 months and until now have been able to sync music to it with no problem. I have a subscription to the Zune Pass so the files that I sync are DRM protected. Windows Media Player is the only software I know of that can successfully sync these files to my phone. That is until recently. While I am still able to syne non-DRM Mp3's, suddenly now when I try to sync any Zune Pass files (which are WMA files), I get an error telling me that the "device's internal clock is not correct". how I can solve the problem but none of them have worked. One suggestion had me go into WMP's Privacy tab in its Tools menu and select the option to "Set clock on devices automatically", but the option was already selected.
How can I check if my device's internal clock is off? What could I have done to mess it up in the first place?
When I try to sync media from the device I get a the following warning " In order to perform the sync process in MotoCast USB you must first stop the sync process in Windows Media Player." I'm using Win7 Ultimate and have no devices set to sync to WMP 12, when I try to stop the processes in taskmgr they just immediately turn right back on.
i'm try to play direct from a website where are 3 players on winamp realplayer and windows media player but none of those are suported what do i need so i can play directly from the website the players are on [URL]
OK, so we all know Ovi player is, uummm, a bit flaky?I've given up trying to use it and am now using Windows Media Player to transfer music to my X6. This works absolutely fine other than getting the album art onto the phone.
I looked around, and have not found an answer to my problem. I want to stream online radio from a website. It says that it is compatible with any mobile device with a windows media player capable player. Media sync does not appear to be the solution.
Here is the website in question: Chiefs Radio Network Listen Live
Videos from my X10 will not play in Windows Media Player. I have Windows Vista , soon to be Windows 7. Is there a codec I need to download for videos to play in Windows Media Player?
how to transfer songs from the Windows Media Player to my phone? I have the correct USB micro connector already, i just don't have a clue on how to transfer songs to my phone.
I have a pearl 9105 and i cannot play a video using windows media player, i had a nokia before and i could play videos no problem with windows media player?
i have some songs on my storage card, and when i play it using media player, it takes like about 30 seconds if i want to skip to another song serious i made a hard reset and still doing it.... i tried with different micro sd card, but nothin, still the same, the hd2 is fast for any other app, but i just have that issue... any knows a solution? i already updated music library also !!
The Sprint manual says you can download music via Windows Media Player or MML , but once you load your music via Media Player, if you use then Motorola you will end up with two seperate files that will use your memory. From the Media player you will have a file called Music, and from Motorola you will have a file MML Mobile.
I would like to put some music on my phone but im having some trouble, i have made a play list from windows media player and have synced that tracks to the phone but for some reason it has an error. "Windows media player cannot convert the file to the format required by the device". What format the mobile is in, or what to do next?
Windows doesn't have the driver for the USB cable for the X6 i'm using Windows XP Home Service Pack 2, when i plugged the phone in, it searched for the drivers but said, windows can't find the drivers bla bla bla, any idea's on how to solve this issue, or where i can Download the drivers?
I'm using bluetooth for everything but i need the bloody USB cable for software updating....
I have installed Nokia Suite twice (after first uninstalling it and removing all the drivers) and Nokia software update once, but neither product can see the phone connected by the USB cable. Windows is able to load some of the drivers, but depending on the time 3 or 4 of the 7 or 8 items windows tries to install fail. ie Nokia N86 USB LCIF fails, Nokia N86 USB Generic fails. Device manager has a flag on all phone related items, except for Nokia N86 USB Phone Parent. During the software installs the software sees a phone and asks for it to be removed before continuing with the install, which I comply with. So the software at least partially sees it. The phone is connected by the Nokia supplied cable directly to the motherboard in PC mode and this is a fresh (1 week old) install of Win 7 64.
When I check Device Manager, I keep getting "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)" and the device is a "RM-821|Nokia Lumia 920". I have restarted both Phone and laptop several times. I did connect successfully to my HTC Radar. I don't even get the "Charging" symbol on my Lumia. Connecting My Lumia to another laptop running Windows 8 works just fine. How can I install the correct driver, and from where to I get it? I expected to get it from Windows Update as it should "just works".
Here is what I would like to do and did in the past with Media player and my HTC Touch Pro 2 - I created an auto playlist that selects songs that have NOT been listened to, a playcount less than one. (it doesn't show up in the desktop manager for media sync) I would like to be able to listen to stuff (causing a play count of one on the phone), and then when I re-connect to the computer have media player remove what has a play count of more than zero. This had some success with my HTC Touch Pro 2. It appears to NOT work on my 8530, it looks like NOTHING gets removed from the phone and there is no "auto" about it. The memory card is full, I listened to songs, re-connected to the computer and it appears that media player sees that the card is full and does nothing.I have had my 8530 1 DAY and have gotten many answers here from previous threads.
I have just moved from a windows phone and got this photon phone. I listen to music from the web, like 181.fm/mobile. These stations require a windows media player to work. The windows media player is not on my photon phone or in the android market place.
Anyone know where I can find a 32 bit bluetooth driver for Windows 7 so I can play my itunes through my PC? As my computer has a built in bluetooth access port.
I downloaded the X10 Mini drivers to be able to debug using the Netbeans Android SDK addon. Now, how do I install them? I have the sa0101usb.inf file (and all the rest in the SEMC_Signed folder). I right-click and click Install, but I get the following error: "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation". I have also tried "upgrading the driver" of "PHONE CARD" under "Portable Devices" in the Device Manager, but the driver does not seem compatible with the device (according to Windows).
I have installedMotorola 5.2.0 Driver with MotoHelper but I still can't get my computers to recognize the device. Always says Unknown Device when i connect it.
I'd like to know if there's a way to play streamed media from windows media player 12 on my nokia E71, I've done it on my PS3 using WIFI and it would be nice to get it working on my E71.
i bought a nokia c3-00 a month ago and it had no problems, but last night when i tried to play some videos i took, the media player says not enough memory but the sound is there but there is no video.
My Nokia Ovi Player has ceased to function following an automated update of Windows 7. The update included 7 security tweaks, a malicious code remover tool and a security update specifically mentioning Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. When I restore the computer to a point previous to the updates, the Ovi Player works fine. I can only presume that there is a conflict as a result. The messages I receive tell me; "There has been a problem starting Ovi Player. Running the Repair option for Ovi Player in the Add Remove Programs section of Windows Control Panel may resolve this problem." Followed by; "Nokia Ovi Player has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem." Neither method fixes the issue. Any ideas? My phone is the Nokia 5800 and I have been successfully downloading music as part of the Comes With music package for 11 months.
Yesterday I installed windows 8 Professional X64, but now I'm not able to connect my Htc Wildfire S to my PC. HTC Sync ( v3.2.20 ) says "No device connected" I guess thats because I'm missing the Android Phone drivers. In device manager there is two devices without driver: Android Phone and RNDIS ( USB Tethering ) Device manager is not finding any driver for my phone when I press update driver. I have also installed latest version of Googles SDK manager and installed EXTRAS // Google usb driver package which didn't solve this problem either... Referring to googles help docs ( OEM USB Drivers | Android Developers ) I should download OEM driver from HTC site but there ain't any..
I installed the new 2.2.0.241 nokia ovi suite. Is it still possible to import your windows mediaplayer playlists to nokia ovi suite so you can sync your whole playlist (in right order) to your nokia? If yes, how do you do this? if no, what's the easiest way to get my playlist from windows mediaplayer in my nokia?
Because it's a LOT of work to make a new one in ovi suite.
I know that I can connect my Lumia 920 through a cable with my PC, but is there a way to stream wirelessly to it? For example, I would like to stream pictures or videos directly to my PC. Furthermore, I have a SmartTV from Samsung and was wondering if there is any way to stream media from my phone directly to the TV.
I have over 1200 songs and about 40 videos, some in phone memory and some in Sd card in my N900. The only way I can play them is to go to the file mgr and bring'em 1 by 1. Same with my videos. Any suggestions is appreciated in advance for getting my media into the media player so that it s easier to play them and be able to create play list.
