I looked around, and have not found an answer to my problem. I want to stream online radio from a website. It says that it is compatible with any mobile device with a windows media player capable player. Media sync does not appear to be the solution.

Is it even possible to do this with a blackberry?
This is my second blackberry curve 8530 and they both have the same problem, they won't play videos. They use to but now when I go to like you tube, or nothingtoxic.com, or even my video recordings it won't play it says an error has occurred media attempt failed. I use to restart my BB and that would help for a lil while now it doesn't work at all. How do I fix this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedHere is what I would like to do and did in the past with Media player and my HTC Touch Pro 2 - I created an auto playlist that selects songs that have NOT been listened to, a playcount less than one. (it doesn't show up in the desktop manager for media sync) I would like to be able to listen to stuff (causing a play count of one on the phone), and then when I re-connect to the computer have media player remove what has a play count of more than zero. This had some success with my HTC Touch Pro 2. It appears to NOT work on my 8530, it looks like NOTHING gets removed from the phone and there is no "auto" about it. The memory card is full, I listened to songs, re-connected to the computer and it appears that media player sees that the card is full and does nothing.I have had my 8530 1 DAY and have gotten many answers here from previous threads.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI specifically use my media player, and slacker radio through my chatterbox xbi2 bluetooth on my helmet while riding. About a month ago, I had my blackberry plugged into my truck via headphone jack, and the song volume kept reseting itself about 3 bars lower than max. I changed NOTHING. Since that day, I've had the same issue when streaming my music through my chatterbox via bluetooth with both media player, and slacker. Normal phone speaker seems to work.

I use my BB to watch movies and listen songs. I guess on an avg of 3hrs a day. Also I use it to browse a little, say 2 hrs a day.

In Memory settings everything is switched to 'On' but the handset doesn't want to recognise the card for some reason. I took it out and put it back in and got nothing, did a soft recent by pulling the battery and still nothing.

I thought the button may have broken somehow, however, after locking my phone I hit the button and it unlocked it just fine. So apparently its not broken, it just up and quit taking me to my media.Is there a way to set the mute button as a shortcut again so I don't have to go through the menu button to get to my music, pics etc?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI synced songs from itune and ripped the ones that I could not sync. I got rid of itunes, and then migrated from my 8330 to my new 8530. The music came over to the new 8530 just fine. I cannot get the media files moved to my computer (not all of them anyway), and I cannot see the files on the BB or on my computer when it is connected in mass storage mode.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have read numerous threads, here at Crackberry and beyond, but I am afraid I have a truly nuked (to ashes) Curve 8310. My son decided he needed a password, then promptly forgot it and wiped the unit out. Being scared that he was really wiping it out (which of course he was), he pulled the battery in the middle of the wipe. I reconnected everything, and it seemed to do a wipe okay.The essential problem now is that I can never get it recognized by a Windows PC when connecting a USB cable. Yes, I have the BB Desktop and app loader installed. A second, known good BB (different model) connects just fine and is recognized. JL_CMDR gives a "port not found" error. Tried invoking LOADER, even with the /NOJVM switch, but nothing ever sees the 8310. Tried the timing issues with battery pull, cable disconnect dozens of times, but I never hear the PC do the double-ding that a USB device has connected, and the Loader application is always blank for the ports.

View 4 Replies View RelatedStarting today my music player has been randomly stopping during songs. I checked my memory card in another phone to make sure it wasn't the problem, and it wasn't. It also happens on the stock Blackberry Music. It will play for a minute tops, and then stop playing. The music player doesn't close, it's just like if I had pressed pause. Normally pressing the play/pause button at the top of the phone a few times will do the trick, but this is quite annoying. If I wait long enough the music will resume again. I also checked my device memory and it's not low at all, and this will happen as soon as the phone is on with only the mandatory programs running. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas what could be causing it? I've done a few battery pulls but I'm still having the same problem.

It did until i set up desktop manager and then i dont know what i did but they dont show. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter being a huge advocate for Windows Phone I'm just about done with it after moving from WP7.5 and Zune to WP8.I can't sync anything using Windows Media Player. I put stuff in the sync list and it looks like it syncs then I check the sync status and everything has "error" in the status and nothing has copied. Doesn't matter if it's songs I own or subscription - nothing syncs through media player. I think I did get it to sync to my wife's 620.
According to MSFT this will not let me sync Zune subscription which is another issue I have - and the biggest issue is that I can't sync playlists period. They show up with 0 songs when I sync using the Windows Phone App. But I was hoping using Media Player might solve that but it's not working.I'm using WIndows 7 on my PC. I'm a long time Zune user/promoter. Right now I can't get music on my phone in any reasonable fashion.
i have some songs on my storage card, and when i play it using media player, it takes like about 30 seconds if i want to skip to another song serious i made a hard reset and still doing it.... i tried with different micro sd card, but nothin, still the same, the hd2 is fast for any other app, but i just have that issue... any knows a solution? i already updated music library also !!

From the Media player you will have a file called Music,and from Motorola you will have a file MML Mobile.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my Droid X for about 6 months and until now have been able to sync music to it with no problem. I have a subscription to the Zune Pass so the files that I sync are DRM protected. Windows Media Player is the only software I know of that can successfully sync these files to my phone. That is until recently. While I am still able to syne non-DRM Mp3's, suddenly now when I try to sync any Zune Pass files (which are WMA files), I get an error telling me that the "device's internal clock is not correct". how I can solve the problem but none of them have worked. One suggestion had me go into WMP's Privacy tab in its Tools menu and select the option to "Set clock on devices automatically", but the option was already selected.
How can I check if my device's internal clock is off? What could I have done to mess it up in the first place?
When I try to sync media from the device I get a the following warning " In order to perform the sync process in MotoCast USB you must first stop the sync process in Windows Media Player." I'm using Win7 Ultimate and have no devices set to sync to WMP 12, when I try to stop the processes in taskmgr they just immediately turn right back on.
