Nov 20, 2010
recently I have experience this problem, I have downloaded some application from Market, it's already 100% but it's not installed on my phone, when I click on it, still said downloading, even it's already 100% and I have been waiting 1 hours, is there any way to resuming download manually? If I press cancel download, it will start from 0 and will happen again, getting tired with this :'( but this is not always happen to all application, mostly big size application.
I have upgrade my Android version to 2.1, and it's very cool and so much better than previously 1.6, but I still didn't know how to install Java Application to my phone? In specification said that it supports Java through 3rd party application, I have try JBed, but I still didn't know how to use it?
i didnt use plurk , peggle and roller coaster application , i want to remove it because it waste my memory space (ram and rom) . Plurk will never die !! when i use task killer to kill it , it appear to alive when screen off .......feint~~ Useless game like peggle and roller coaster , i never used it and it just the trial version.........i want to remove these unused application . I only got EDGE using Tmobile while my other phone Xpeira Z1 can get LTE at the same location. I did set the APN manually [URL] .... since the auto download "Internet & MMS settings" didn't work. I tried to update the phone using "Update Center" but it said I have the most updated version already.
I was very happy with my xperia mini pro till yesterday but I was disappointed today very badly when I am turning On my WIFI it just done and didn't search any networks and didn't show any icon that its On. What I can do now? It just simply not connecting.
I got the Backup&Restore app downloaded, but when I try to open it I get the error message: "install blocked. For security, your phone is set to block installation of applications not sourced in android market." I can figure out where to change these security settings. Doesn't seem to be in phone settings or browser settings.
i have an Xperia X8, and well i have done some research on the net about how could i install my downloaded applications on my sd card rather than on my phone memory as it is actually installing on my phone memory! i saw something called APP2SD but i cannot find the application
Now I have Android 1.6 on my new X10 mini pro.Tried update to 2.1 via Support Zone and stuck on step 2 with error:"Software update didn't finished successfully because of error.Try again or ask for support of sony ericsson here: www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/phones"p.s.: I also can't sync phone with google, can't set up default email-cleint, can't login facebook (i've checked password on PC and it's correct).
I like Xperia X8...its works gr8...but internal memory is not enough to install usefull application. So, Its Request to provide update so that we can install more application.Touch is good but multitouch will be great .
So, last night I was messing around with some custom roms, and tried installing CM, I accidentally installed CM recovery as the boot img, and tried to backup from my backup file that I created via TWRP.
Now, when restoring i get into a bootloop, i think, and if I'm trying to install a custom ROM i either get a status 7 error or it can mount /system. I tried going into the Mount tab in TWRP and checking the system check-box, but it won't let me.
My SI No. is listed in the site and I got the update notification also. But when I try to update using PC Companion, am getting the below error message.
I don't have any file manager on my phone and even if I manage to download one, I don't know how to install it!I've tested some apk files on my SD card, copied them in "others folder" and also directly in the SD card. But could see none of them when I went to settings/applications/manage applications. So how on earth can I install a software or application on my phone? I even can't access a file manager to find them!
On the Sony build of Android 4.0.4 (all Builds!) on a German "SK17i", the settings for turning off the auto-correction for punctuation is plainly ignored. That is: "Automatical Upper- Lower case" is UNchecked, "automatical replacement" is UNchecked and also in the XPERIA keyboard setting I changed the word suggestions to "never help with typing, do not suggest".And STILL, every time there is a full stop the phone starts the next word at upper case (also at places like "e.g."). If I hit upper case at the beginning of a sentence or after an abreviation, as I am used to with a QWERTZ keyboard, it switches to CAPSLOCK FOR ALL FOLLOWING words in that textbox. It is not even consistent in doing so: when entering a title for an appointment, the phone "Upper Cases" Every Word There Is And Switches To CAPSLOCK When Pressing Shift One Time Regardless Of The Punctuation. It is so annoying I sometimes want to smack the phone to the wall and grab my old Palm Pre which just works like it should, that is like a regular keyboard.I consider this to be a serious bug as the software is clearly IGNORING the system settings.
i recently updated my xperia mini pro to ICS. Now i am facing screen lag while auto rotation. can some one please tell me how to fix it. secondly, how can i revert back to android 2.3 GB?
I cant connect to internet using x10 mini pro. I have downloaded gprs settings but when I use the browser. It give an error no internet connection. I have tried everything in the support page but no luck.
Issue is that the phone will get in a mode sometimes where it just continues to reboot. It gets to a point that I can use the phone, but within a few minutes, it crashes and boots up again. Usually pulling the battery fixes it, but not always. A similar issue is the screen going blank. Not sure it's crashed or just a video issue, but the only way to get it back on is to pull the batteryAlso, as the unit is stuck at 2.1 for ever, so can not use the memory card to install apps, and can't uninstall the old apps, is there a recommended minimum of available phone memory? That is, for example, always make sure you have at least 35MB. Any more than 50MB won't make a difference to performance or stability
The sony ericsson xperia mini st15i was really a pocket sized monster but pls sony put up an option to turn off the brightness auto adjusting.. everything was good and i can even say perfect just that that brightness sensor ****** me off because at places with low lighting, the screen flickers because of the brightness auto adjust...
If the x10 mini has a auto reject function anywhere or any apps to download, been receiving nuisance calls at all times of the day and would really like to stop receiving them.
i just got an x10 mini, and i would like to know how to install apps. i copied some apps to my sd card but i don't know how to access the card to install the apps?
Am having Xperia pro running with ICS. I want to revert to GB, so I downloaded the Gingerbread phone software from Developer world of talk.sonymobile.com! now i dunno how to install it in my phone XPERIA PRO! there is no install notes too in the zip folder i downloaded!
