Nov 23, 2011whenever someone sends me sms, my phone , a notification pops up reading 'your sms inbox is full delet some messages" but i have deleted all my messages. i dont know what to do now .

Sep 4, 2011My phone dosent recieve texts messages but will recieve calls. A messages comes up everytime i try to go into my messages saying "the aplication messaging has stoppped unepectedly.

Feb 26, 2011I just purchased a X8 less then a week ago, everything works fine except that I'm unable to recieved any sms's. Have trouble shoot on my SIM card and it's working fine on other phone. Sony Ericsson helpdesk is clueless on this issue, after going thru steps trying to rectify it .

May 7, 2011X8 cannot receive long SMS.. i've done filtering, internal memory is 120mb, no downloaded apps,changed sim cards. this is such a disappointment. its only weeks that i can receive long sms. only software repair can solve the problem but its very tedious to repair and repair every 5 days. im losing my faith in my X8.

Sep 29, 2011I've got a X10 and recently upgraded to android 2.3.3. Since yesterday night I can't seem to receive SMS. I thought it was general, but later I received SMS from my other friends. So it seems I can't receive SMS form only one person. When that person sends me an SMS, I get a notification saying '1 new message' but when I select it, I can't see the message.

Oct 24, 2010I am having probles receiving emails to my phone from my Yahoo email account? It's worked perfectly for the last 5 months but I realised yesterday I've not been getting emails. The last time I received an email was Monday, so nothing has come through for 4 days??? I can SEND emails ok as tested it today. My internet is working fine on my phone as Google, Facebook etc all load up ok, no problem. But no emails are coming through to my phone??If I go to my email account and click "refresh" I get a message saying "Cannot safely connect to server"??

I now cannot recieve notifications and use messaging for my husbands number. I can only check texts by going to his contact info and selecting messaging. Oct 30, 2013I can't send or receive MMS pictures. I've done the Settings>More>Internet Settings (Download settings for internet and MMS) thing, and my internet browsing is and always has been fine. If I turn Wi-Fi off and choose to browse via 2G, it's next to useless, but it DOES work. When I get into a 3/4G area it works as you'd expect without me changing any settings.In a 2G only area, a ~256K image should still be able to be received and sent, albeit with a slight wait, shouldn't it?
The message I get when people try to send me something is "Message not downloaded", and although I can press and hold to select "Download message", it still doesn't work. WHen I try to send, I get "Message queued for sending", after about 5 minutes. I've read about that message lots of times, but it seems the answer is always that the user hasn't downloaded the correct internet/MMS settings, which I have.I'm on O2, UK, and am on a contract with data available (and it won't deny me more data if I go over my limit).

Cleared memory card files, sms' and updated to:
- Android 2.1.1.A.0.6
- 11 MB available phone memory
- 1 GB available memory card storage
Warning on out-of-memory remains, still can't receive text messages. What to do? Is 11 MB phone memory too low? Then, how to clear?

Aug 8, 2010X10a 2.1 I can't receive txts/mms but I can send them. It was working fine yesterday, but then out of nowhere it stopped working, I've been asking friends from different carriers, emails, etc to send me TXTs and MMS but I still can't receive them, I contacted my Network and they did OTA update, I even did it manually deleting the APN searching for the network etc. but same issue, I can send txts/mms but I can NOT receive them.
