Feb 12, 2012I am using blackberry torch 9800.I have been using vodaphone when I arrived at UK in September 2011.I didn't have enough credit to auto resubscribe the BIS at 11 February 2012.I topped it up at around 9am that day and until now, 12 February 2012, I still cannot receive message from BBM.My friend said, they received my message but I cannot receive their messages (they said the message could not 'D' at all) I have tried to take out my battery and put it back on several times. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall back my BBM application.

Nov 6, 2012I'm going to the BIS website becuase I dont know my password, and click forgot password. I then put in the device pin and it says successfully sent passowrd to device. the message is not coming to device. I went into firewall and made sure PIN messages werent being blocked. Down the bottom it says 'Incorrect encryption key: 2 blocked"

Now I can receive her messages (also they only appear as D, not R to her) but all messages I send to her only have the checkmark, not D or R (she is not getting my msgs). Nov 29, 2012I've never had any problems with my BlackBerry Torch 9800 until today. I cannot receive text messages off one of my contacts but they are receiving my sent ones! I have restarted my phone by taking out the barrery and the SIM card 3 times with no change. As has my contact (he has a BlackBerry Curve). I have checked my Firewall settings (they are switched off) and neither of us are in each others blocked list.

Oct 26, 2011I just updated to the 6.0 bundle and now my pearl does not play a sound when I receive a text message. The option to even change the tone it is supposed to play is gone out of the menu. I have tried restoring and re installing the software and resetting the device numerous times. Sometimes it will come back for a short amount of time then disappear again. I also get the error message uncaught exception:java.lang.nullpointerexception from time to time. Anyone else have this issue know of a PERMANENT fix? I am ready to throw it under a moving vehicle.

May 27, 2012I am not able to send message but i am able to recieve messages and i can even send imessage but cant send normal text message. i removed the sim and used it in an other phone and i am able to send message. so its not the problem with the carrier. i also used different sim and i was not able to send message from my iphone with that also. i reset the to factory settings and i still have the problem

Jul 25, 2011This has happened since day one and has happened on 2 devices. It has happened in the stock messaging app as weel as chomp and handcent. I sometimes get as many as 6 of the same message. It doesn't happen all of the time, but too much for me. I've tried clearing the cache and I even did a master reset wih no luck.

Jan 14, 2010I was wondering if someone could help. I own an iPhone 3Gs and for some reason when in silent mode, the phone doesnt vibrate when i receive a new text message (sms). It vibrates when I receive a call in silent mode, and also when i receive a reminder from Intelliscreen alerting me of a missed call or new sms.
Basically the vibration function works for everything except when i receive a new sms in silent mode and when i flip the swtich from silent to ring (and vice versa).
Due to the above, i can only assume that its not a hardware issue since it does actually vibrate. this happened a few months after purchasing (and jailbreaking) the phone so i can only assume that this is being caused by an app that I have installed since it was fine for the first few months. I have checked the settings on the phone a million times (vibrate is on for silent and ring) and I cant work out why this is happening.
I have statusnotifier, ireal sms (v2) and quicksms installed. i dont know if they're causing the issue but i have installed them and the prob still remains.Is anybody else having the same problem or can advise on how to solve the problem? ive searched long and hard on the net and connot find a solution.

Feb 18, 2010I am receiving an "error parsing message" on every e-mail I receive. The body of the message is not visible. All that shows up are the words "error parsing message body can not be shown"The name of the e-mail sender and the subject line come through but that's it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
