I've got problems to receive sms..This is not the case with all my contacts, only with people I send very often.. And I don't understand why!They receive my sms in time, but not me. Several hours later, or even several days after.. However, I've got a good signal..So, I erased all the sms to make place.. But nothing happen.
View 5 RepliesI just purchased a X8 less then a week ago, everything works fine except that I'm unable to recieved any sms's. Have trouble shoot on my SIM card and it's working fine on other phone. Sony Ericsson helpdesk is clueless on this issue, after going thru steps trying to rectify it .

neither my GPRS work nor MMS. If I remove APN type = mms than my GPRS start to work again normally. Even if I put APN = mms still MMS would not work.
If someone sends me a contact from their mobile as business card, I do not receive it in my mobile. My xperia neo v is running on ICS 4.0.4 build version 4.1.B.0.587. Is this a bug with xperia neo v? Because of this issue I am not able to receive any business card that someone sends.

I have tried in both chomp and my default setting, and it won't work.All it does is keep ringing as if I have a new text. But when I click on it, nothing comes through. So then, I close it/delete the conversation and then it starts ringing again.

I updated my software and it worked but then the problem came back again so i repaired it..which reinstalled the software and it worked but it came back again. It dint show any error or anything, I just could no longer receive msgs. Just last saturday i once again repaired it, and on monday im stopped receiving sms. At about the same time it shows that my memory is full even though i changed to an 8GB card. i only have 1GB of data on it. What can i do? ive tried using other sim cards and clearing the messages. No luck I think all my apps are being saved to phone memory which is slowing down the phone too and giving me that alert. Is there a way for me to transfer my downloads to the SD card?

I go to Settings-->Wireless and Network-->Bluetooth. I switched on Bluetooth and device visibility. I accept the passcode and I am able to pair with other mobile phone.
But while the file is getting transferred from othe mobile phone, my Xperia mini pro suddenly stops transfer and says, "failed to receive file".
The mobile has simcard and 2GB memory card. how to make file fransfers from other mobile working using bluetooth.
Here are some details about the phone:

I use USB tethering a lot, and sometimes for very long times. When I disconnect the phone, sometimes, my phone becomes unable to receive calls. And even worse, the caller hears the normal calling sound, but my phone just doesn't do anything. So to the caller it seems that I'm just not answering, although the phone isn't notifying me in any way, during the call or after the call! So there is no way telling how many calls I'm missing..
When I try "reset" the mobile network by going to flight mode and back, the phone completely locks, and I have to remove the battery to reboot the phone. This problem won't go away unless I reboot the phone. This happens awfully often, regardless if I click USB tethering off from the phone first before disconnecting it. The most important function is not working and makes the "phone" useless.
I am using BB 8520 Curve with the default external memory (2 Gb). I have music files (*.mp3, *.wma) as well as picture files (captured through the device itself).What happens is, from time to time I am unable to access the media card content. If I go to music, I can see the entries if I go to any of the menu filters, All Songs/Artists/Albums/Genres .. etc. But when I click on the song itself, the music player opens with a message "This playlist contains no valid songs". Also, during this time, my device rings with the default tunes on a call, even if I have set custom profile ring tones.Similarly, if I go to Media->Pictures, I can see a thumbnail preview of the photos, however on trying to open a file it just presents me with a black screen. The contact picture or the desktop custom wallpaper, however is rendered as expected.If I reboot my device by taking off the battery, things get working again.I am experiencing this issue quite frequently, almost every day. I tried to find out a trend for the behaviour, however could not make any such consistent observations.Does anyone in the forum has faced similar issue? Any inputs would be highly appreciated. This is really being a disturbing trait with my otherwise so cool BB.

I have this problem since the beginning. the phone freezes and restarts time b time when i am using it or sometimes even when i press the unlock key to use it the screen shows up and freezes then restart. most of the time it restarts when its on charging and the battery is above 90% and it always restarts when i use it after the battery is fully recharged. Now yesterday it restarted around 15 times and its becoming pain you know. I have it on the kitkat software didn't update to lolipop. I am not using simcard and i also tried using without sd card.

I'm currently away at college in an extended network but the whole 2 years I have been here I have never had a problem with service until this week.
My phone gets text messages and can receive calls at certain time but after a while if you try to make a call or send a text it won't go thru even though I have full bars or close to it.
Its weird I have service for like half an hour then suddently it stops. I have asked people with blackberrys who have verizon in the area and they aren't having any problems.
I have tried taking out the battery/Reset. It worked a few times but these last few days it has not solved the problem.
I already spoke to Verizon and they tried to do some troubleshooting with me.
My phone was working after I talking with Verizon but the problem keeps reoccurring.
Im in an area where I can't call 228 so even when my phone is working I cant update the software.
I keep getting "unable to authenticate user at this time. Please try again later".But I have been getting this message everyday for the past couple weeks.

I have the Blackberry curve 8520 and version 4.6. Is installed.Whenever I have installed themes I wasn't able to read SMS anymore. Actually the red light gets on (which shows all notifications) and a SMS symbol can be seen on the display, but when I look for the SMS it doesn't appear.The only way I can read new SMS are that I write a SMS on my own to be able to read the SMS I just got before! Besides I have to click twice on it until it really opens the SMS.I've even uninstalled these Themes, but nothing changed.

I can send the BBM message but I could not receive any BBM message from my contact after I resubscribe my Blackberry Internet Service yesterday. I tried to sign in to windows live messenger and it works fine. My email is also working as usual.I have tried to take out my battery and put it back on several times. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall back my BBM application.

I used Kies to get back to a factory reset state (as I forgot to do a NANROID backup). So I am happy for that but I now can not re-root my phone as it keeps failing. I am unable to receive MMS from other phones.I have a iPhone 3gs unlocked (T-mobile).I get the error about message resolution size.I've tried every solution found on forums. The weird thing is, it used to work before...At default, it didn't work, so I enabled it. Then it didn't work again, so I fixed it...then broke again and so I fixed it one more time. This time it doesn't work at all.And so I've tried a variety of different things found on countless forums. I've also went into Cydia and downloaded the T-Mobile prepaid package or whatever. I tried all 6 of them. And each time I tried new network settings I restarted my phone.Oh and I have 3.0 software. Jailbroken and unlocked. Also, I can receive MMS from other iPhones, but not other phones.Any suggestions? And no I don't remember the settings that I've used when I fixed the problem. But I'm pretty sure I've used them after going through a number of familiar forums with network settings.So in short
-Can send mms to any phones
-Can only receive from iPhones
-Can't receive from phones other than iPhones
i cant receive emails on one of my emails that is set up on my phone. The other 2 emails set up are receiving mails. I have tried to sent service books and it delivered but email from people to aren't dropping. I have tried all my best to troubleshoot but to no avail. Waiting for your prompt response.
