Jul 18, 2011Have a Curve 9300 3G. Can anybody tell me how to set a time not to receive mails. I do not want to receive mailks between 22h00 and 07h00.

Aug 15, 2012So I have BIS enabled for my BB Curve 8900 and an email account set up on it. The email works fine, I receive emails and I can send email messages from my BB. However, I noticed today that I do not receive emails on my BB that have attachments larger than 7 MB. I have the same email account set up in my Thunderbird client and everything works fine with it, I do get all these large emails. I contacted my service provider (Orange) and they could not figure this out.

I.e., when travelling to a different time zone, the local time is used by the phone.Problem: The time in all calendar items are adjusted to the time zone travelled-to, not the value orginally set. Therefore the time of an airline flight is advanced (or reduced), and does not reflect the time that the flight actually departs.. a problem.One work-around is to leave the phone time setting to home time, but then the phone can't be used in place of a watch.Is there a setting in the calendar function that ignores current phone time?

May 27, 2010I'm not receiving my e-mails. I searched through all the previous threads but my problem seems to be a little different than what past users have experienced. I stopped receiving e-mails this morning and cannot get any on my phone. I checked under Manage Connections --> Services Status and it says that I am not connected to the BES. I am however connected to Mobile Voice and BIS.I tried going into my e-mail setup to try and re-send the service books, but I get the error message that says, "Your device encountered a problem wit this application's server". So really I can't seem to do much of anything right now. I keep reading about the BIS website but am not familiar with it or do not know the address.

Mar 4, 2012I travel a lot and I've noticed that quite often when I turn on my phone after landing that the time zone doesn't automatically switch time zones and network time is unavailable. Is there a reason for this? I would have thought that all networks would broadcast time and that all phones would be able to receive it.

Mar 19, 2010On my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? Jan 30, 2010I'm currently away at college in an extended network but the whole 2 years I have been here I have never had a problem with service until this week.
My phone gets text messages and can receive calls at certain time but after a while if you try to make a call or send a text it won't go thru even though I have full bars or close to it.
Its weird I have service for like half an hour then suddently it stops. I have asked people with blackberrys who have verizon in the area and they aren't having any problems.
I have tried taking out the battery/Reset. It worked a few times but these last few days it has not solved the problem.
I already spoke to Verizon and they tried to do some troubleshooting with me.
My phone was working after I talking with Verizon but the problem keeps reoccurring.
Im in an area where I can't call 228 so even when my phone is working I cant update the software.

But it still changes minute when the real time says like 18:15:30 (hh:mm:sec). I am setting it to manual and Im using the TV as an indication for the exact time. Nov 17, 2015The only way I can use my multi window is to go to settings, turn multi off and on again. Then the multi window appears on the left. But I have no arrow that's supposed to open from the home screen, another casualty of the 5.1.1 update that lost my "back" and "recent/menu" functions. I have a 3rd party app that restores "back" and "recent", but not "menu". Multi window now only appears by itself when I click a link in a text message, but I have about 8 apps available in that window.
How I can bring up multi window without using settings each time?? I tried 3rd party apps that can bring more apps into multi window, but I can't get to the multi window itself. I am not rooted, running 5.1.1

When I checked the time on my RAZR against my PC, where I have a service that sets the time from an atomic clock, I found that the RAZR was off by more than 14 seconds. I disabled the option and instead installed an app called "ClockSync" that sets the correct time. Unfortunately, the automatic time update setting is required by Verizon in order to login to My Verizon Mobile, so I either give up checking my data and call usage or I give up accurate time. This is very annoying. Can we get Verizon to use a reliable time server instead of whatever they are using now?

If I delete them from my phone they also disappear from my web-based server (AT&T) that normally holds 30 days of emails before automatically archiving. I can still access deleted emails by doing a specific search but they don't appear otherwise.
