I'm not receiving my e-mails. I searched through all the previous threads but my problem seems to be a little different than what past users have experienced. I stopped receiving e-mails this morning and cannot get any on my phone. I checked under Manage Connections --> Services Status and it says that I am not connected to the BES. I am however connected to Mobile Voice and BIS.I tried going into my e-mail setup to try and re-send the service books, but I get the error message that says, "Your device encountered a problem wit this application's server". So really I can't seem to do much of anything right now. I keep reading about the BIS website but am not familiar with it or do not know the address.
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I have BIS enabled for my BB Curve 8900 and an email account set up on it. The email works fine, I receive emails and I can send email messages from my BB. However, I noticed today that I do not receive emails on my BB that have attachments larger than 7 MB. I have the same email account set up in my Thunderbird client and everything works fine with it, I do get all these large emails. I contacted my service provider (Orange) and they could not figure this out.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOn my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? The embedded email app are deleting mails on my mail server, when I delete them in my phone. I am used to have a copy left on the mail server to be fetched when coming back to the office. I do not find any options in my x8 so I have a copy left on my server.
I'm trying to set up my email account on the new Blackberry Torch 9800 - but when I type in my email address, it says Field Full before I finish typing in the address.

1. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). for some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. if I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
2. Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone.
Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.

I want to manage my work emails on my personal blackberry but I want to know if there is any way of setting the email so it only receives mail between 9-5.30 weekdays, so I don't get bombarded with work related emails whilst not working - a little like auto on/off. This function actually exists? Or will I just need to switch off the configuration?

I have a 3gs. When I want to send an email to my girlfriend I enter the letter "Y", the first letter in her name, and two email addresses pop up. One is hers, the other is my previous girlfriend's which comes up because she had a Yahoo account.
