BB Storm2 9550 / 9520 :: Cannot Receive E-mails
May 27, 2010I'm not receiving my e-mails. I searched through all the previous threads but my problem seems to be a little different than what past users have experienced. I stopped receiving e-mails this morning and cannot get any on my phone. I checked under Manage Connections --> Services Status and it says that I am not connected to the BES. I am however connected to Mobile Voice and BIS.I tried going into my e-mail setup to try and re-send the service books, but I get the error message that says, "Your device encountered a problem wit this application's server". So really I can't seem to do much of anything right now. I keep reading about the BIS website but am not familiar with it or do not know the address.

Aug 15, 2012So I have BIS enabled for my BB Curve 8900 and an email account set up on it. The email works fine, I receive emails and I can send email messages from my BB. However, I noticed today that I do not receive emails on my BB that have attachments larger than 7 MB. I have the same email account set up in my Thunderbird client and everything works fine with it, I do get all these large emails. I contacted my service provider (Orange) and they could not figure this out.

Apr 20, 2010are there some serious compatibility issues with Blackberry and Microsoft Outlook 2007? A lot of my emails go only to my Blackberry, only to delete after a while! It is set to leave them on the server. I never even see my emails on my home computer! I don't see any posts like mine. Verizon even sent me a new phone, and it does the same thing!

Mar 19, 2010On my Blackberry bold 9000 since last night (approximately) I have not been receiving e-mails however I am still able to send e-mails.On the diagnostics check everything came back as yes apart from connected to e-mail, however this is the first time this has happened and I have confirmed that I have entered the correct log in details. Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening as I would have thought that if I wasn't connected to my e-mail account that I would not have been able to send e-mails? Aug 29, 2010When I delete aol mail from blackberry 8530i, handheld and mailbox, it REALLY gets deleted. It doesn't go into the aol "Trash" folder, it just disappears altogether, like it never existed, and does not appear from my PC.

Mar 30, 2012I recently began having this problem where my blackberry groups won't receive messages and says the contacts in the groups are unreachable. This is evident in all my groups. I can contact contacts directly however the group function is not working. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I've left and rejoined multiple groups and such.

Jan 16, 2011This errors came to my phone suddenly and now i'm unable to take or receive calls . I'm pretty sure that i didn't add or update any software within last 3 months. But there was a problem with my charger ( my phone always get stuck or freeze after I connect it to the charger so I always have to remove the battery and restart the phone after a charging.After I press "ok" to the error message I can use any software in my phone other than making calls also I'm unable to go to dialing screen I have attached the images of the errors.

Jan 4, 2010I own an unlocked BB Storm (9530) and have been unable to send and receive MMS messages. Its now on AT&Ts Network and I talked to them about it they made it out to be that I needed a data plan. So they signed me up and I thought all was fixed. But I soon realized that was not the case. I cant even select to compose MMS text. I now have unlimited messaging and am on their BB data plan.
I have looked up on a lot of forums on what could be the problem and have d/l the service books and registered the HRTs and did a battery pull without any luck. I have noticed that I do not the MMS service books (MMS Client and MMS Transport). I was curious as to why I don't have them and if I could get them. Also during my last update (V5.0.0.328 Platform 4.2.0.128) I noticed I lost my browser icon. Was that supposed to happen or did I mess something up?

Try to complain in XL center and costumer service says the BlackBerry device is having trouble, what is true? In service book notice is CMIME disallowed. several times i try to send service book from device, erase from DM and send service book again, but until now is SAME.

Mar 30, 2010I am using a Storm1. As you know this weekend BIS did an upgrade. At the same time Verizon dropped Yahoo as their e-mail server.I went into BIS and made the incoming and outgoing changes. It took and I resent a service book.I haven't been able to receive e-mail since. I can send e-mail but not receive.I've done a wipe and everything else I can think of. Any ideas?

Mar 11, 2010I bought a 9530 and Unlocked it. I inserted my ATT sim card and it won't make or receive calls. I am not to worried about the data plan at this point. I just want be able to call and get calls. Am I missing something? The phone was from Verizon. I unlocked it but when I restore connections, it still says verizon wireless as the network, even with my ATT sim card installed.
