Apr 8, 2011I have noticed that I cant receive messages from anyone. I also changed my sim card yesterday and it hasnt helped so Im pretty sure its the phone.

Aug 22, 2012Since a few weeks now, i don't receive all text messages that are sent to my phone by contacts anymore.I can't pin an exact number how much messages are 'gone missing', but for example, yesterday i was texting the whole day with a friend,and of the on average 25 messages she sent, 3 never reached my phone. Also, sometimes when i get a message the text stops in midway and it ends with a piece of text from another message, that i received weeks ago. However, this problem has dimished over the past weeks. By the way, i have to add, i'm thinking of doing a factory reset, but for that i need to save all my contacts. i tried exporting all my contacts to my sim (using the import/export function in contacts),but when i used my sim on an older phone, only half of my contacts were transferred.I have to add that i got a notification that the sim was full, so some data wasn't transferred.

May 2, 2012So I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. So I am curious as to what could be the problem with my Iphone 4? Ive updated it to 5.1 today to see if that was the problem but we are still having issues, and I also checked that she is also using verizon.

Ideed, i have a message like that : "message memory full" i delete a lot of messages, i don't have any video or pictures, my memory is not full, so i don't understand why it's like that. Sep 7, 2013So I just got the phone tonight and everything works fine except I can't receive text messages. I can send them and my friends get them, but when they reply it gets sent to my old phone which is an iPhone. I don't know if this is an error on Verizon's part by not setting it up correctly, or if I need to do something with my iPhone to stop the messages from being sent there. I plan to go back to Verizon on Monday, but if I can fix the problem now it would be much easier.

May 3, 2012My wife has a 3GS with a strange problem: starting about a month ago, text messages send to her phone number vanish into the void -- I my phone they go as imessages and show as sent, but she never sees them. Several of her coworkers have startet to complain about the same thing. I can either just pick up an old conversation where she was texting me from her phone and reply, or start a new text and pick her iPhone's number, either way it looks to me like it was sent but she doesn't see it.
if she sends me a text, I see it, but it says it's from her @me.com email address. And if I send a text to her @me.com email address she gets it on her phone. But almost exactly no one ever thinks to sent her a text at that email address instead of her phone number...
