Xperia X10 :: Cant Receive Emails?

I am having probles receiving emails to my phone from my Yahoo email account? It's worked perfectly for the last 5 months but I realised yesterday I've not been getting emails. The last time I received an email was Monday, so nothing has come through for 4 days??? I can SEND emails ok as tested it today. My internet is working fine on my phone as Google, Facebook etc all load up ok, no problem. But no emails are coming through to my phone??If I go to my email account and click "refresh" I get a message saying "Cannot safely connect to server"??

I had this problem with my previous BB and thought the software crashed. Upon upgrading to a Bold 790 I still have this problem. I spoke to Tech support, they say everything is ok on their side. I took my phone back, the tech at the MTN shop checked, corrected my centre number.
Still NOTHING. I can send smss and e-mails but cant receive any. People who sent me mails or messages says their phones shows it was delivered.

I have two email accounts on my phone. I recently updated the password for both of the accounts (on a computer) then updated the information on my phone. I havent been receiving the emails to my phone even prior to the password update.

I have had my Blackberry for over 2 years now and have never had trouble receiving emails until last week. Now I only get emails once per day......all of them come at once. I haven't changed any settings

I have a Torch 9800 & took it with me on a long trip out-of-country only to use as a camera. For this purpose, I stopped receipt of emails by turning off - via Manage Connections - both the Mobile Network & the WiFi. Hence, I was running silent. Having returned home, I want to initiate receipt of emails again BUT do NOT want the several hundred emails accumulated during my travels to be pushed to my handheld (I remained in touch with emails on trip by using my laptop). Question: how can I now turn on my Mobile Network & WiFi connections and not have pushed to my BB all the emails accumulated over the past 2 months (they still remain on my email server)?

I have Gmail set up on iPhone and this works fine, my other personal account will not receive emails, but I can send. How do I fix this? Amended my 'fetch data' and still not working.

I am encountering in my BB device. I have a Gmail account. All emails I sent from my device to another email address arrive immediately, in fact, I receive emails sent from another address to my Gmail (my BB). However, emails I sent to my own address do not arrive in my BlackBerry Bold device. I oftenly send emails with shortcut links to myself, but this issue (or if it is an issue) is really niggling me.

I set up GMail on my N97. I enabled e-mail retrieval and chose "every 5 minutes" as retrieval interval. However, new e-mails sent to my GMail account don't appear on my N97 unless I manually connect to mailbox each time. How could I receive e-mails sent to my GMail account automatically on my N97?

I did a software upgrade and on completion it wiped out my email account so I can't send or receive emails on my BB but I can send and receive from my desktop. When I try to log on from my BB it won't recognize my email or password. Do I need to re-set some settings?

I can send emails using my blackberry, but I cannot receive them. The email account is hooked up to Outlook. I can receive emails using my gmail account just fine, but for some reason I am unable to get them when they come to my outlook account.

i cant receive emails on one of my emails that is set up on my phone. The other 2 emails set up are receiving mails. I have tried to sent service books and it delivered but email from people to aren't dropping. I have tried all my best to troubleshoot but to no avail. Waiting for your prompt response.

Hope someone can help. I have a curve 8520 and I can't receive any email since this morning. Can send using both my POP accounts, but not receiving. I realized only now when I checked email from my laptop client and found tens of them that never made it to my BB in the last few hours.

For the last couple of hours I have not been able to send or receive emails on my device. I have rebooted without any success. When I go into Message Options, Email Account Management, It checks for updates, Connecting to email settings ... I then get the message Your device had a problem connecting to the server
I am also trouble using some apps as I get the Local connection timout out after ~ 120000
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can solve this issue

I have a Blackberry Curve 9300. 4 days ago I stopped receiving e-mails through the wireless connection(Movistar Argentina) but I can still send messages perfectly. I also can browse the internet through EDGE/3G, make/receive phone calls & SMS and any other function of the device is operational.If I turn on the WiFi connection I start to receive all the e-mails perfectly.I re-sent the service books (which were not either received until I turned on WiFi), re-register the device, power boot it, checked that the accounts are validated, upgrade the OS to 6.0, etc. The problem is still there: e-mails don't reach the unit through the wireless connection (they only do through WiFi)

So I've had my Curve 9300 for about a week, and until now it has been able to receive emails (at least those sent to me gmail account) absolutely fine. As of yesterday 1am, the 30 or so emails sent to my gmail haven't appeared on my Blackberry. If I try to send a message I get the standard 'packet error' message. I've googled for various solutions, but they all seem directed at users with older blackberries, so I haven't been able to use them.

I just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530. I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured". That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry. I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up. But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done.
I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone. I am a bit of an electrical gimp.

My curve won't let me write emails...I can receive them, but if I try to answer to an email I can choose the option 'answer' but then I don't have any 'send' button... if I try to send a new message, well I can write it and send it, but then it comes back with a red cross...<I was never able to send a mail.

I have recently received my new 8520 and after a few issues finally managed to set up emails. Since then my wife's 8520 has stopped receiving email. She is receiving emails on her ISP web mail and on her Outlook 2003 client on her laptop. All her setting remain the same as before and are the same aas mine (except for the email address)

i received a message from blackberry stating that i needed to validate my password for my email in the balckberry internet service. it has given me instructions on how to do that, however, it's not taking my user name nor my password. so, I tlogged on to blackberry internet services but no where can i find the "email accounts" page! I have got to have my emails thru the weekend..

I have 3 emails accounts set on my device and they used to work perfectly. i dont know what happend but now dont work. Ive erased the email and set it back and doesnt work. I fe el that this problemas migth something to do with syncronization or so. Also i send the book service for each accounts and i dont receive it. Every thing estar going wrong with the gmail sync so i decide not have it.

I have just had a replacement handset, pearl 9105... everything is working fine but not my emails. I have had the activation notice saying they will start in a about 20mins, that was 12 hrs ago. I am using mobile internet and wifi, as i did with no problems on my old handset, although it is saying that i am not connected to the blackberry enterprise server?

I can send but cannot receive gmail emails on my blackberry torch. The phone says the email is setup and is sending fine but when I send test emails to it I get a MAILER-DAEMON failure notice.
IMAP is enabled and have followed all the gmail instructions and blackberry helps guides but I think I am missing something. The extension of the email is not gmail it is my company name [URL] I cannot receive my work emails on my blackberry which is make life so difficult!
