View 2 RepliesI cant sync, respond to texts, receive emails, just about anything but make phone calls. Is this due to the blackberry problem I've been hearing about?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have two email accounts on my phone. I recently updated the password for both of the accounts (on a computer) then updated the information on my phone. I havent been receiving the emails to my phone even prior to the password update.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my Blackberry for over 2 years now and have never had trouble receiving emails until last week. Now I only get emails once per day......all of them come at once. I haven't changed any settings
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last couple of hours I have not been able to send or receive emails on my device. I have rebooted without any success. When I go into Message Options, Email Account Management, It checks for updates, Connecting to email settings ... I then get the message Your device had a problem connecting to the server
I am also trouble using some apps as I get the Local connection timout out after ~ 120000
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can solve this issue
My blackbery will send emails but will not receive them. It worked fine for about 6 months, but now there are problems. Have tried setting up email account again, pulling battery, and sending service books.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 9300. 4 days ago I stopped receiving e-mails through the wireless connection(Movistar Argentina) but I can still send messages perfectly. I also can browse the internet through EDGE/3G, make/receive phone calls & SMS and any other function of the device is operational. If I turn on the WiFi connection I start to receive all the e-mails perfectly.I re-sent the service books (which were not either received until I turned on WiFi), re-register the device, power boot it, checked that the accounts are validated, upgrade the OS to 6.0, etc. The problem is still there: e-mails don't reach the unit through the wireless connection (they only do through WiFi)
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my Curve 9300 for about a week, and until now it has been able to receive emails (at least those sent to me gmail account) absolutely fine. As of yesterday 1am, the 30 or so emails sent to my gmail haven't appeared on my Blackberry. If I try to send a message I get the standard 'packet error' message. I've googled for various solutions, but they all seem directed at users with older blackberries, so I haven't been able to use them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought a blackberry Curve, 8530. I had my email set up at the store and even got my blackberry registration email. However, I go to compose an email, and my phone tells me that "no message services are configured". That would be fine, if my email was not already set up, according to my blackberry. I tried going through the whole process again, and then it tells me that my email is already set up. But, it says I can only save a draft, not send, when I'm done.
I owned a pearl before this, but never used many of the features. I would like to be able to use more of them on this phone. I am a bit of an electrical gimp.
My curve won't let me write emails...I can receive them, but if I try to answer to an email I can choose the option 'answer' but then I don't have any 'send' button... if I try to send a new message, well I can write it and send it, but then it comes back with a red cross...<I was never able to send a mail.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can send emails but not receive them and it would appear that all my settings are correct. I have been in contact with Virgin Mobile technical department on numerous occasions and although the latest advice was to do a security wipe I was reluctant to do so hoping that there would be a more simple way to rectify the problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently replaced my blackberry 8250 with a blackberry 9350. Before doing so I transferred all my emails onto my new phone. But now when I try to send a message theres a red X and it says 'Transaction error-failure at service'...I haven't received anything either since I switched phones
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night my battery went dead on my phone. I charged it overnight and this morning I can not send or receive emails. I can send and receive text but not email. Can't go online for anything. Manage connections shows a check in Mobile Network and a green check after my provider name. It also shows a check and WI Fi on and in the box at the end of that is a dash. Bluetooth is off. When I click services statuses under Blackberry internet Services it shows NOT Connected. I'm not sure how to turn this on.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 8520 is set to receive emails from a pop email server. This email server is a Smartermail type that I access via a web browser so that I do not have to worry about syncing emails across computers. I have numerous filters on the Smartermail to ensure clients mail goes into named inboxes. None of those filtered mails are being sent to the blackberry. I only receive the unfiltered emails. This is clearly no good at all as I am missing pver 75% of my emails. I could of course set the Smartermail to forward ALL messages to the blackberry email address but this would create two problems - duplication of mails on the blackberry and replies from the blackberry inbox would carry the blacberry sender address and not my company one. The other alternative would be to remove all filters on smarter mail but this would create a big housekeeping headache with one enormous mailbox.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI cant send or receive emails on my Blackberry. I use gmail. I have tried messing with the settings, but I can't even access the web2go right now when I attempt to go into my email settings. It gives me an error message that says, "The site cannot be accessed in this manner. use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider." I have no idea what link they are talking about. I have tried a soft and hard reset to no avail, and can't find a solution online. Admittedly anything more than a reset is beyond my current knowledge.
Here are details about my setup:
Blackberry Curve 8520
Carrier: T-Mobile with data plan
OS v4.6.1.259 (Platform 4.2.0.116)
email: gmail
I stopped receiving emails from my hotmail accont to my phone yesterday and then had a message from blackberry saying I needed to validate my email, which I did fine and also registered my blackberry ID. However, I still cannot send or receive my emais and when I try to send it comes up with an error message: 'User account is in INVALID mode'. I did change my hotmail password the other day; don't know if this is of importance. In addition, I have tried to modify the email account set up on my blackberry but it will not allow me to access the current account settings or allow me to add a new account, the option just doesn't exist or appear, which had not been an issue up until now. I could, however, set up an enterprise account if wanted. I am not sure who to contact about this so thought I'd post here first...
