View 5 Replies View RelatedI tried using Sony Bridge for Mac to update my Z3. Naturally, it failed (I had massive problems updating the other Xperia I had too).
All my phone wants to do now is say 'The software update failed.Make sure your phone is connected to a computer and try again'. This is, of course, a ridiculous thing to suggest, as my Mac will now not recognise the device as I can't turn it on.
Five days back purchased a Xperia X10 and upgraded the memory to 16GB. It was working fine since yesterday morning, when I updated the phone through SE PC Companion software.
First SEPCC presented a message for update then it told to disconnect the phone from USB, switch it off, remove battery for at least 5 sec., put battery again, connect it USB with pressing back button. After that it starts downloading the update and then tried to install the update. But it failed 2 times.
Right now I am not able to start the mobile even by removing the memory. On the screen it displays SONY ERICSSON text and a '!' mark inside a triangle.

Hestory : last night i tried to upgrade my phone using Sony Update service. it ran upgrade and everything was new. all previously installed softwares are gone.
Symptoms: it shows android 2.3.4 version on phone but in PC suit while, upgrade using pc suite it says vrsion 4 .a .XXX , and upgrading to 4.b.XXX ... then it proceeds and fails with error "Unable to install or start phone software update conponents" .

I followed every instruction but I had to abort the process when PC Companion prompted me to discontinue due to low battery conditions. I charged my battery. I connected phone and continued process. The phone is now stuck in flash mode, the SE logo flashes for a brief moment, then I am met by a screen with a phone and an Exclamation Point in a triangle for awhile, then the phone restarts and does it again.
I have obviously tried removing the battery and trying again. SEUS has the same result every time I attempt this. I have also installed PC Companion, and one of two things happen 1) PC Companion completely hangs my Win7 (32bit) machine, or 2) Prepares to repair the phone, and while 'preparing', an error pops up and directs me to the webpage.
My Z2 wont turn on , and i tryed to turn it by presing pow + v UP But nothing have.. and tried charge it but it not charging and i try to repair it with pc companion and when they told my to pres pow + V down i do it but Pc companion cannot recognize my phone ..

Here's my probelem and as i have read around the problem never has been helped out. Oke after i have flashed my phone from 1.6 to 2.1 i never had any problems. but when i updated my phone from 2.1 using PC Companion to 2.3.3. the phone just died. It keeps hagging in flash mode and after like 10 sec it vibrates and won't stop until the bat is dead. What i have done: I have tried to flashing it using the flash tools with many firmwares nothing worked, then i have used the SEUS repair function but when i use that it only wants to flash it to 2.3.3 and doesn't repair it, unless the repair is only reflashing and without whipe user data then it didn't work. Oke anyone with ideas? There are like 3 other people with the same problem and i think we all have an X10i So? The unbrickable phone has a weakness...

When I press the on button the phone vibrates, the LED on the top left flashes faintly green twice, and then nothing.I can connect to PC companion, and it recognises the phone. View 2 Replies View Relatedi am using xperia pro mk16a and a few days back i updated to ics 4.0.4 through pc companin s/w.everything went well and the update was completed in 20 minutes flat w/o any error or problem.but since then even after downloading adobe flash player the flash videos which are of duration 5 minutes or more do not load the flash video screen shows that it is loading but it doesnt load even after wainting for 30 minutes earlier on gingerbread these very videos used to load in less than a minute.i have tried almost all the browsers available in the market...but the result is same. i think this is some compaltibility issue of adobe flash player and android 4.0.4.Internet works bery well..no issues on that account.otherwise the ics update is very nice and feature rich and enhanced the overall xperience.

Figuring the battery had completely drained, I placed it on the charger and went to bed. This morning, the phone still won't start (nothing on the screen at all); but the weird thing is the LED flash is constantly on. Of course, it's warm to the touch. I had to run to work, so I haven't had a chance to plug it into iTunes yet. I have repeatedly tried holding wake/power and home buttons together for 10 - 20 seconds.
